Peking je pokušao skinuti rat u Ukrajini s dnevnog reda summita G20, tvrdeći da bi se čelnici skupine najbogatijih država svijeta trebali držati gospodarskih pitanja, piše Jutarnji list.
Kako saznaje SCMP, kineski čelnici i diplomati žestoko su lobirali prema Indoneziji (otok Bali je ovogodišnji domaćin) da makne sukob s dnevnog reda jer bi joj njezina javna ambivalentnost oko ruske invazije mogla narušiti imidž.
Međunarodni summit skupine G20 okuplja ekonomski najrazvijenije zemlje. Rat u Ukrajini ima ogromne posljedice na svjetsku ekonomiju, na cijene plina i goriva, na cijene hrane. Ako Pekingu pođe za rukom da tu temu izbace s dnevnog reda, analize i zaključci sa summita će biti irelevantni i nevjerodostojni.
Objašnjenje Kine zašto ne želi raspravljati o jednom od najznačajnijih događaja po svjetsko gospodarstvo, kako je rekao glasnogovornik kineskog ministarstva vanjskih poslova Zhao Lijian, je taj što G20 "nije prikladna platforma za raspravu o pitanjima političke sigurnosti kao što je Ukrajina". Tvrde da bi platforma trebala rješavati pitanja koja muče svijet nakon pandemije i držati se svoje temeljne misije, a ne biti oteta od strane Zapada.
Predsjednik Indonezije Joko Widodo ranije je izrazio zabrinutost oko gospodarskih učinaka rata. Međutim, nakon telefonskog poziva s kineskim predsjednikom Xi Jinpingom obećao je da će surađivati s Pekingom "kako bi osigurao da G20 usredotoči svoj rad na gospodarski oporavak i globalni razvoj".
Zhang Mingliang, stručnjak za pitanja jugoistočne Azije na Sveučilištu Jinan u Guangzhouu, smatra da bi Kina mogla iskoristiti Jakartu i njezino žongliranje između Rusije i Zapada kao priliku za proširenje svog utjecaja u regiji.
"Indonezija pokušava ostati neutralna po pitanju takvih podjela, a čelnici u Jakarti su dovoljno oštroumni da znaju kako izbjeći zauzimanje strana kada su velike sile u sukobu", rekao je Mingliang, dodajući da Indonezija ne može priuštiti da se otuđi od Kine, svog najvećeg trgovinskog partnera i glavnog ulagača.
Za to vrijeme, Peking pokušava svim silama zadržati pitanje rata u Ukrajini izvan svojeg vidnog polja. Najvažniji politički događaj desetljeća – 20. kongres Komunističke partije – trebao bi se održati na jesen ove godine. Kina ne želi da bilo koje vanjskopolitičke pitanje potencijalno poremeti mir i stabilnost tog događaja.
Kineska ambivalentnost navela je SAD da zaprijeti Kini. Bijela kuća neće oklijevati u nametanju troškova Kini ako nastavi braniti postupke Vladimira Putina, poručio je američki državni tajnik prije par dana.
Na to je stigao odgovor Pekinga u kojem tvrde da je njihov stav u skladu sa željama većine zemalja.
"Vrijeme će pokazati da su kineske tvrdnje na pravoj strani povijesti", izjavio je kineski ministar vanjskih poslova Wang Yi.
Iako Kina uporno tvrdi da se nalazi na pravoj strani povijesti, svojim postupcima daje do znanja da je za nju "prava" strana ona od koje će imati koristi.

Peking je pokušao skinuti rat u Ukrajini s dnevnog reda summita G20, tvrdeći da bi se čelnici skupine najbogatijih država svijeta trebali držati gospodarskih pitanja, piše Jutarnji list.
Kako saznaje SCMP, kineski čelnici i diplomati žestoko su lobirali prema Indoneziji (otok Bali je ovogodišnji domaćin) da makne sukob s dnevnog reda jer bi joj njezina javna ambivalentnost oko ruske invazije mogla narušiti imidž.
Međunarodni summit skupine G20 okuplja ekonomski najrazvijenije zemlje. Rat u Ukrajini ima ogromne posljedice na svjetsku ekonomiju, na cijene plina i goriva, na cijene hrane. Ako Pekingu pođe za rukom da tu temu izbace s dnevnog reda, analize i zaključci sa summita će biti irelevantni i nevjerodostojni.
Objašnjenje Kine zašto ne želi raspravljati o jednom od najznačajnijih događaja po svjetsko gospodarstvo, kako je rekao glasnogovornik kineskog ministarstva vanjskih poslova Zhao Lijian, je taj što G20 "nije prikladna platforma za raspravu o pitanjima političke sigurnosti kao što je Ukrajina". Tvrde da bi platforma trebala rješavati pitanja koja muče svijet nakon pandemije i držati se svoje temeljne misije, a ne biti oteta od strane Zapada.
Predsjednik Indonezije Joko Widodo ranije je izrazio zabrinutost oko gospodarskih učinaka rata. Međutim, nakon telefonskog poziva s kineskim predsjednikom Xi Jinpingom obećao je da će surađivati s Pekingom "kako bi osigurao da G20 usredotoči svoj rad na gospodarski oporavak i globalni razvoj".
Zhang Mingliang, stručnjak za pitanja jugoistočne Azije na Sveučilištu Jinan u Guangzhouu, smatra da bi Kina mogla iskoristiti Jakartu i njezino žongliranje između Rusije i Zapada kao priliku za proširenje svog utjecaja u regiji.
"Indonezija pokušava ostati neutralna po pitanju takvih podjela, a čelnici u Jakarti su dovoljno oštroumni da znaju kako izbjeći zauzimanje strana kada su velike sile u sukobu", rekao je Mingliang, dodajući da Indonezija ne može priuštiti da se otuđi od Kine, svog najvećeg trgovinskog partnera i glavnog ulagača.
Za to vrijeme, Peking pokušava svim silama zadržati pitanje rata u Ukrajini izvan svojeg vidnog polja. Najvažniji politički događaj desetljeća – 20. kongres Komunističke partije – trebao bi se održati na jesen ove godine. Kina ne želi da bilo koje vanjskopolitičke pitanje potencijalno poremeti mir i stabilnost tog događaja.
Kineska ambivalentnost navela je SAD da zaprijeti Kini. Bijela kuća neće oklijevati u nametanju troškova Kini ako nastavi braniti postupke Vladimira Putina, poručio je američki državni tajnik prije par dana.
Na to je stigao odgovor Pekinga u kojem tvrde da je njihov stav u skladu sa željama većine zemalja.
"Vrijeme će pokazati da su kineske tvrdnje na pravoj strani povijesti", izjavio je kineski ministar vanjskih poslova Wang Yi.
Iako Kina uporno tvrdi da se nalazi na pravoj strani povijesti, svojim postupcima daje do znanja da je za nju "prava" strana ona od koje će imati koristi.
