Srpanj je dosegao sredinu, kolovoz se bliži, a oba su oduvijek bila ključna za cijelu turističku sezonu. Drukčija je ova od svih koje pamtimo.

Teza da se moramo naučiti suživotu s koronavirusom dovela je do otvaranja granica u Europi, svi oni koji od turizma žive - a zovemo ih konkurencijom - krenuli su u pravu bitku za svakog gosta. Možemo li pobijediti, pitali smo Veljka Ostojića, direktora Hrvatske udruge turizma.

- Sve ovisi o nama! Naši epidemiološki eksperti i političke odluke kreirali su nam odličnu poziciju na početku sezone, no ako nastavimo ovim tempom loše epidemiološke slike zadnjih dana, nećemo moći reći da nam je itko kriv za pad rezervacija i dolazaka.

Sjetit ćete se, postojali su strahovi što će biti s nama ako se granice otvore, granice su se otvorile, došli su turisti, od početka godine bilo ih je više od 2,6 milijuna, nisu nam donijeli zarazu, nego smo mi sami sebi učinili loše. Koronu su nam vratili neodgovorni pojedinci koji su putovali u neke "problematične" zemlje.  Onda naš režim povratka, a - koliko mi je poznato - ni sada ne moramo u karantenu nakon povratka iz, primjerice, Srbije.

Tu su i noćni klubovi, velike manifestacije, svadbe... Sve nas je to dovelo gdje smo danas, a to je u ovom trenutku naša najveća opasnost i izazov u turizmu - kazuje nam.

- Sigurnost je ključna ove sezone - ponavlja nekadašnji ministar turizma, a u promociji dobre zdravstvene situacije u zemlji svi bi trebali biti ujedinjeni.

Naravno, ne netočnim informacijama, već da - unatoč žarištima koja se redom nalaze na kontinentu - promoviramo sigurnost na obali i u priobalju, gdje se nalazi 99 posto gostiju. Treba slati jasne poruke. Recimo, Hrvatsku je posjetilo više od 2,6 milijuna turista, više nego bilo koju drugu zemlju Mediterana, a nijedan turist se nije zarazio kod nas!

- To je jasno izrekao dr. Capak na presici Nacionalnog stožera u utorak. To je naš neprikosnoveni adut. Karig u briškuli - veli Ostojić.

Najviše naših gostiju dolazi iz Njemačke, Austrije i Slovenije, pa Ostojić vjeruje da trebamo slijediti epidemiološke mjere koje su te zemlje uvele. A konkurenti i dio njihovih medija samo čekaju da napravimo grešku.

- Sve velike emitivne zemlje javno vode politiku zadržavanja svojih državljana kod kuće i mi ne smijemo činiti greške koje će im dati povoda za odluke koje će se negativno odraziti na naš turizam - kaže Ostojić.

- Hrvatska mora i može biti pobjednik sezone na Mediteranu. Čini se da su svi u ovoj krizi shvatili koliko je turizam važan za gospodarstvo - ističe naš sugovornik.

- Treba pronaći načina za održavanje sektora na životu do iduće sezone, produžiti mjere za potporu likvidnosti i zadržavanje radnih mjesta minimalno do travnja 2021. godine. Bilo kakvo smanjivanje mjera rezultiralo bi velikim povećanjem nezaposlenosti i dodatnim narušavanjem stabilnosti turističkih kompanija. Mjera skraćivanja radnog vremena nije primjerena za razdoblja visoke sezone – tvrdi ovaj ponajbolji poznavatelj hrvatskih turističkih prilika.

Dalmaciji će, kaže, biti posebno teško, jer je sad već svima jasno da je ovo godina auto-gosta, a prethodne su bile u znaku avio-gostiju.

Srpanj je dosegao sredinu, kolovoz se bliži, a oba su oduvijek bila ključna za cijelu turističku sezonu. Drukčija je ova od svih koje pamtimo.

Teza da se moramo naučiti suživotu s koronavirusom dovela je do otvaranja granica u Europi, svi oni koji od turizma žive - a zovemo ih konkurencijom - krenuli su u pravu bitku za svakog gosta. Možemo li pobijediti, pitali smo Veljka Ostojića, direktora Hrvatske udruge turizma.

- Sve ovisi o nama! Naši epidemiološki eksperti i političke odluke kreirali su nam odličnu poziciju na početku sezone, no ako nastavimo ovim tempom loše epidemiološke slike zadnjih dana, nećemo moći reći da nam je itko kriv za pad rezervacija i dolazaka.

Sjetit ćete se, postojali su strahovi što će biti s nama ako se granice otvore, granice su se otvorile, došli su turisti, od početka godine bilo ih je više od 2,6 milijuna, nisu nam donijeli zarazu, nego smo mi sami sebi učinili loše. Koronu su nam vratili neodgovorni pojedinci koji su putovali u neke "problematične" zemlje.  Onda naš režim povratka, a - koliko mi je poznato - ni sada ne moramo u karantenu nakon povratka iz, primjerice, Srbije.

Tu su i noćni klubovi, velike manifestacije, svadbe... Sve nas je to dovelo gdje smo danas, a to je u ovom trenutku naša najveća opasnost i izazov u turizmu - kazuje nam.

- Sigurnost je ključna ove sezone - ponavlja nekadašnji ministar turizma, a u promociji dobre zdravstvene situacije u zemlji svi bi trebali biti ujedinjeni.

Naravno, ne netočnim informacijama, već da - unatoč žarištima koja se redom nalaze na kontinentu - promoviramo sigurnost na obali i u priobalju, gdje se nalazi 99 posto gostiju. Treba slati jasne poruke. Recimo, Hrvatsku je posjetilo više od 2,6 milijuna turista, više nego bilo koju drugu zemlju Mediterana, a nijedan turist se nije zarazio kod nas!

- To je jasno izrekao dr. Capak na presici Nacionalnog stožera u utorak. To je naš neprikosnoveni adut. Karig u briškuli - veli Ostojić.

Najviše naših gostiju dolazi iz Njemačke, Austrije i Slovenije, pa Ostojić vjeruje da trebamo slijediti epidemiološke mjere koje su te zemlje uvele. A konkurenti i dio njihovih medija samo čekaju da napravimo grešku.

- Sve velike emitivne zemlje javno vode politiku zadržavanja svojih državljana kod kuće i mi ne smijemo činiti greške koje će im dati povoda za odluke koje će se negativno odraziti na naš turizam - kaže Ostojić.

- Hrvatska mora i može biti pobjednik sezone na Mediteranu. Čini se da su svi u ovoj krizi shvatili koliko je turizam važan za gospodarstvo - ističe naš sugovornik.

- Treba pronaći načina za održavanje sektora na životu do iduće sezone, produžiti mjere za potporu likvidnosti i zadržavanje radnih mjesta minimalno do travnja 2021. godine. Bilo kakvo smanjivanje mjera rezultiralo bi velikim povećanjem nezaposlenosti i dodatnim narušavanjem stabilnosti turističkih kompanija. Mjera skraćivanja radnog vremena nije primjerena za razdoblja visoke sezone – tvrdi ovaj ponajbolji poznavatelj hrvatskih turističkih prilika.

Dalmaciji će, kaže, biti posebno teško, jer je sad već svima jasno da je ovo godina auto-gosta, a prethodne su bile u znaku avio-gostiju.

Srpanj je dosegao sredinu, kolovoz se bliži, a oba su oduvijek bila ključna za cijelu turističku sezonu. Drukčija je ova od svih koje pamtimo.

Teza da se moramo naučiti suživotu s koronavirusom dovela je do otvaranja granica u Europi, svi oni koji od turizma žive - a zovemo ih konkurencijom - krenuli su u pravu bitku za svakog gosta. Možemo li pobijediti, pitali smo Veljka Ostojića, direktora Hrvatske udruge turizma.

- Sve ovisi o nama! Naši epidemiološki eksperti i političke odluke kreirali su nam odličnu poziciju na početku sezone, no ako nastavimo ovim tempom loše epidemiološke slike zadnjih dana, nećemo moći reći da nam je itko kriv za pad rezervacija i dolazaka.

Sjetit ćete se, postojali su strahovi što će biti s nama ako se granice otvore, granice su se...
