Rukometni vratar Henning Fritz vraća se iz mirovine u 50. godini života. Među vratnice se vraća nakon potpisa za talijanskog prvoligaša SSV Bozen. Nijemac se na ovaj neobičan potez odlučio nakon dugog nagovaranja čelnika kluba koji je ostao bez prvog vratara Christophorosa Nungovitcha. On će, pak, u sljedećem periodu igrati za DR Kongo na prvenstvu Afrike.

- Odbio sam prvu ponudu, ali nisu odustajali. Kada sam vidio koliko me žele i trebaju, morao sam prihvatiti – kazao je Fritz za Njemačku novinsku agenciju (dpa). Osvrnuo se i na reakcije obitelji.

- Sretni su zbog mene, ali su malo i zabrinuti, pogotovo što se tiče zdravlja.

Fritz je u svijetu rukometa dobro poznat lik. Svojevremeno je bio jedan od najboljih vratara svijeta. S njemačkom reprezentacijom bio je svjetski i europski prvak, a 2004. je osvojio srebro na Olimpijskim igrama. U tom su finalu pobijedili upravo Hrvatsku. Te je godine Fritz proglašen najboljim rukometašem svijeta po izboru IHF-a.

Od aktivnog igranja rukometa oprostio se 2012., ali ovo mu neće biti prvi put da se vraća. Isto je učinio i 2021. zaigravši za Flensburg u posljednjih osam utakmica sezone.

Rukometni vratar Henning Fritz vraća se iz mirovine u 50. godini života. Među vratnice se vraća nakon potpisa za talijanskog prvoligaša SSV Bozen. Nijemac se na ovaj neobičan potez odlučio nakon dugog nagovaranja čelnika kluba koji je ostao bez prvog vratara Christophorosa Nungovitcha. On će, pak, u sljedećem periodu igrati za DR Kongo na prvenstvu Afrike.

- Odbio sam prvu ponudu, ali nisu odustajali. Kada sam vidio koliko me žele i trebaju, morao sam prihvatiti – kazao je Fritz za Njemačku novinsku agenciju (dpa). Osvrnuo se i na reakcije obitelji.

- Sretni su zbog mene, ali su malo i zabrinuti, pogotovo što se tiče zdravlja.

Fritz je u svijetu rukometa dobro poznat lik. Svojevremeno je bio jedan od najboljih vratara svijeta. S njemačkom reprezentacijom bio je svjetski i europski prvak, a 2004. je osvojio srebro na Olimpijskim igrama. U tom su finalu pobijedili upravo Hrvatsku. Te je godine Fritz proglašen najboljim rukometašem svijeta po izboru IHF-a.

Od aktivnog igranja rukometa oprostio se 2012., ali ovo mu neće biti prvi put da se vraća. Isto je učinio i 2021. zaigravši za Flensburg u posljednjih osam utakmica sezone.

Rukometni vratar Henning Fritz vraća se iz mirovine u 50. godini života. Među vratnice se vraća nakon potpisa za talijanskog prvoligaša SSV Bozen. Nijemac se na ovaj neobičan potez odlučio nakon dugog nagovaranja čelnika kluba koji je ostao bez prvog vratara Christophorosa Nungovitcha. On će, pak, u sljedećem periodu igrati za DR Kongo na prvenstvu Afrike.

- Odbio sam prvu ponudu, ali nisu odustajali. Kada sam vidio koliko me žele i trebaju, morao sam prihvatiti – kazao je Fritz za Njemačku novinsku agenciju (dpa). Osvrnuo se i na reakcije obitelji.

- Sretni su zbog mene, ali su malo i zabrinuti, pogotovo što se tiče zdravlja.

Fritz je u svijetu rukometa dobro poznat lik. Svojevremeno je bio jedan od najboljih vratara svijeta. S njemačkom reprezentacijom bio je svjetski i europski prvak, a 2004. je osvojio srebro na Olimpijskim igrama. U tom su finalu pobijedili upravo Hrvatsku. Te je godine Fritz proglašen najboljim rukometašem svijeta po izboru IHF-a.

Od aktivnog igranja rukometa oprostio se 2012., ali ovo mu neće biti prvi put da se vraća. Isto je učinio i 2021. zaigravši za Flensburg u posljednjih osam utakmica sezone.
