Orašasti plodovi smanjuju rizik za razvoj raka debelog crijeva, otkrili su američki znanstvenici sa sveučilišta u Connecticutu. Taj zaključak temelje na studiji obavljenoj na miševima kojima su u prehranu uvrstili orašaste plodove. Miševi su 7-10 posto ukupnog unosa kalorija dobivali od takvih plodova i kao rezultat je zabilježena manja pojava raka debelog crijeva.

Tako je 7-10 posto ukupnog unosa kalorija ekvivalent konzumaciji 30-ak grama orašastih plodova na dan u ljudskoj prehrani.

"Naši rezultati prvi put pokazuju da konzumacija orašastih plodova može reducirati pojavu raka debelog crijeva", rekao je vodeći autor Daniel Rosenberg.

"Sve je više dokaza da orašasti plodovi nude niz korisnih stvari za ljudsko zdravlje, a naša studija pokazuje da djeluju i kao probiotik za zdravlje debelog crijeva", dodao je. Napominje također, da orašasti plodovi sadrže zdrave nezasićene masne kiseline i bogat su izvor vitamina E te pridonose zdravlju srca, te štite od dijabetesa i neuroloških poremećaja.

Orašasti plodovi smanjuju rizik za razvoj raka debelog crijeva, otkrili su američki znanstvenici sa sveučilišta u Connecticutu. Taj zaključak temelje na studiji obavljenoj na miševima kojima su u prehranu uvrstili orašaste plodove. Miševi su 7-10 posto ukupnog unosa kalorija dobivali od takvih plodova i kao rezultat je zabilježena manja pojava raka debelog crijeva.

Tako je 7-10 posto ukupnog unosa kalorija ekvivalent konzumaciji 30-ak grama orašastih plodova na dan u ljudskoj prehrani.

"Naši rezultati prvi put pokazuju da konzumacija orašastih plodova može reducirati pojavu raka debelog crijeva", rekao je vodeći autor Daniel Rosenberg.

"Sve je više dokaza da orašasti plodovi nude niz korisnih stvari za ljudsko zdravlje, a naša studija pokazuje da djeluju i kao probiotik za zdravlje debelog crijeva", dodao je. Napominje također, da orašasti plodovi sadrže zdrave nezasićene masne kiseline i bogat su izvor vitamina E te pridonose zdravlju srca, te štite od dijabetesa i neuroloških poremećaja.
