Glumačko-redateljski par Melissa McCarthy-Ben Falcone ima novu komediju, puštenu pred publiku nedugo nakon njihovog prethodnog ostvarenja. "Gromovnice" ili "Thunder Force" objavljene su na Netflixu točno tri mjeseca otkako smo u kinima gledali "Superinteligenciju".

Nažalost, McCarthy i Falcone su napravili korak nazad s "Gromovnicama" koje spadaju među slabije komične suradnje glumice i redatelja/scenarista ("Tammy", "The Boss", "Life Of The Party"). Zapravo, nijedan film ovog para nije dobar, prije loš ili osrednje-slab, a takav je i "Thunder Force".

Jedna od konstatacija u osvrtu na "Superintelligence" bila je da Melissa bolje funkcionira kad je režira Paul Feig, i to se može nanovo potvrditi.

Druga konstatacija se ticala toga da je McCarthy bolja u ulogama ekstraordinarnih, ne ordinarnih likova. Falcone kao da je pročitao prigovor i otišao do kraja u tom smjeru načinivši njezin novi lik krajnje suprotnim u odnosu na protagonisticu "Superinteligencije" kao "najprosječnije osobe na svijetu".

"Obična" Melissa je u "Gromovnicama" takozvana "superosoba", odnosno superjunakinja, znači da je njezin tip humora dobio supersnagu, a znamo da glumica znade izgubiti busolu i iritirati kad ode u komičarsku krajnost i počne se kreveljiti, kao ovdje kad uleti u sobu za injektiranje i injekcije je ubodu po licu poput roja pčela ili oponaša Jodie Foster iz filma "Nell".

Stvar se mogla spasiti niveliranjem glumičine energije, tj. angažiranjem nekoga da joj (s)parira. Glumica (naj)bolje funkcionira kad je sparena s nekim sebi ravnim i spremnim za komičarsko nadjačavanje, nekim tko će imati ravnopravnu minutažu i prostor, makar bio drukčiji u humoru.

Sandra Bullock se odlično nadopunjavala s McCarthy u "Specijalnim agenticama", a Jason Statham u "Špijunki", ponajboljim Melissinim komedijama, daleko iznad njezina prosjeka s Falconeom u ulozi redatelja i scenarista. Oskarovka Octavia Spencer ("Tajni život kućnih pomoćnica"), poznatija po nekomičnim ulogama ("Skrivene junakinje", "Koliba", "Ma"), mogla je poslužiti kao druga strana vage, nekakav karakterni balans i protuteža za McCarty.

No, glumičin lik se nalazi u drugom planu, prilično je nezanimljiv i jedva vidljiv, ironično za njezinu moć nevidljivosti po uzoru na Sue Storm iz "Fantastične četvorke". U nekom drugom filmu Octavia i Melissa mogle su razviti kemiju i prijateljstvo među likovima, kao Kristen Wiig i Annie Mumolo u superiornijem "Barb i Star na putu za Vista Del Mar", posebice jer se njihove Emily i Lydia poznaju od školskih dana, kad je druga branila prvu od "bullyja".

Pa ipak, odnos među likovima, koji je bio apsolutni forte na relaciji Bullock-McCarthy u "The Heat", ovdje jedva da je registriran. To je šteta budući da se Spencer trudi biti "au pair" s kolegicom, kao u sceni kad obje, punašnije, pokušavaju izaći iz uskog sportskog Lamborghinija, na tragu ulaska Sandre i Melisse kroz vrata u "Specijalnim agenticama", ili ona pokušava izgovoriti "Thunder Force" da to djeluje opako štemerski, što ionako "zvuči nekako muški".

Ovo potonje sugerira kakav se potencijal krio u "Gromovnicama". Kao što su "The Heat" i "Spy" bili ženski (parodični) odgovor na muške akcijske "buddy" komedije i špijunske akciće, tako je "Thunder Force" mogao biti to u okviru maskulinog superjunačkog blockbustera Marvela ili DC-ja, gdje je "Wonder Woman" još uvijek rijetka iznimka, barem do pojave "Black Widow".

Uzgred, od superherojskih blockbustera posuđena je Pom Klementieff, sporedan lik iz "Čuvari galaksije" ogranka "Osvetnika", sada u ulozi negativke zvane Laser.

Međutim, film je takav u rijetkim trenucima i Falcone se više zadovoljava da je Melissa dobila priliku bacati bus poput Supermana stotinjak metara u zrak ili se boriti protiv supernegativaca, tzv. Izgrednika, u šačici generičnih računalno generiranih akcijskih scena, a i daje joj ljubavni interes u vidu bizarnog lika, humanoidnog Raka (Jason Bateman) s kliještima umjesto ruku kojima mu nije lako uzeti čašu.

"Thunder Force" bi bio zabavniji da se posve fokusirao na parodijske superjunačke momente po mjeri McCarthy, kao kad negativac pita Lydiju "Koji je ovo miris?" i ona odgovara "Kostim, ne pere se". Neće "Gromovnice" u "koprive".

Idući film McCarthy snima bez Falconea (koična drama "The Starling"), ali pojavit će se zajedno u seriji "God's Perfect Idiot".

Glumačko-redateljski par Melissa McCarthy-Ben Falcone ima novu komediju, puštenu pred publiku nedugo nakon njihovog prethodnog ostvarenja. "Gromovnice" ili "Thunder Force" objavljene su na Netflixu točno tri mjeseca otkako smo u kinima gledali "Superinteligenciju".

Nažalost, McCarthy i Falcone su napravili korak nazad s "Gromovnicama" koje spadaju među slabije komične suradnje glumice i redatelja/scenarista ("Tammy", "The Boss", "Life Of The Party"). Zapravo, nijedan film ovog para nije dobar, prije loš ili osrednje-slab, a takav je i "Thunder Force".

Jedna od konstatacija u osvrtu na "Superintelligence" bila je da Melissa bolje funkcionira kad je režira Paul Feig, i to se može nanovo potvrditi.

Druga konstatacija se ticala toga da je McCarthy bolja u ulogama ekstraordinarnih, ne ordinarnih likova. Falcone kao da je pročitao prigovor i otišao do kraja u tom smjeru načinivši njezin novi lik krajnje suprotnim u odnosu na protagonisticu "Superinteligencije" kao "najprosječnije osobe na svijetu".

"Obična" Melissa je u "Gromovnicama" takozvana "superosoba", odnosno superjunakinja, znači da je njezin tip humora dobio supersnagu, a znamo da glumica znade izgubiti busolu i iritirati kad ode u komičarsku krajnost i počne se kreveljiti, kao ovdje kad uleti u sobu za injektiranje i injekcije je ubodu po licu poput roja pčela ili oponaša Jodie Foster iz filma "Nell".

Stvar se mogla spasiti niveliranjem glumičine energije, tj. angažiranjem nekoga da joj (s)parira. Glumica (naj)bolje funkcionira kad je sparena s nekim sebi ravnim i spremnim za komičarsko nadjačavanje, nekim tko će imati ravnopravnu minutažu i prostor, makar bio drukčiji u humoru.

Sandra Bullock se odlično nadopunjavala s McCarthy u "Specijalnim agenticama", a Jason Statham u "Špijunki", ponajboljim Melissinim komedijama, daleko iznad njezina prosjeka s Falconeom u ulozi redatelja i scenarista. Oskarovka Octavia Spencer ("Tajni život kućnih pomoćnica"), poznatija po nekomičnim ulogama ("Skrivene junakinje", "Koliba", "Ma"), mogla je poslužiti kao druga strana vage, nekakav karakterni balans i protuteža za McCarty.

No, glumičin lik se nalazi u drugom planu, prilično je nezanimljiv i jedva vidljiv, ironično za njezinu moć nevidljivosti po uzoru na Sue Storm iz "Fantastične četvorke". U nekom drugom filmu Octavia i Melissa mogle su razviti kemiju i prijateljstvo među likovima, kao Kristen Wiig i Annie Mumolo u superiornijem "Barb i Star na putu za Vista Del Mar", posebice jer se njihove Emily i Lydia poznaju od školskih dana, kad je druga branila prvu od "bullyja".

Pa ipak, odnos među likovima, koji je bio apsolutni forte na relaciji Bullock-McCarthy u "The Heat", ovdje jedva da je registriran. To je šteta budući da se Spencer trudi biti "au pair" s kolegicom, kao u sceni kad obje, punašnije, pokušavaju izaći iz uskog sportskog Lamborghinija, na tragu ulaska Sandre i Melisse kroz vrata u "Specijalnim agenticama", ili ona pokušava izgovoriti "Thunder Force" da to djeluje opako štemerski, što ionako "zvuči nekako muški".

Ovo potonje sugerira kakav se potencijal krio u "Gromovnicama". Kao što su "The Heat" i "Spy" bili ženski (parodični) odgovor na muške akcijske "buddy" komedije i špijunske akciće, tako je "Thunder Force" mogao biti to u okviru maskulinog superjunačkog blockbustera Marvela ili DC-ja, gdje je "Wonder Woman" još uvijek rijetka iznimka, barem do pojave "Black Widow".

Uzgred, od superherojskih blockbustera posuđena je Pom Klementieff, sporedan lik iz "Čuvari galaksije" ogranka "Osvetnika", sada u ulozi negativke zvane Laser.

Međutim, film je takav u rijetkim trenucima i Falcone se više zadovoljava da je Melissa dobila priliku bacati bus poput Supermana stotinjak metara u zrak ili se boriti protiv supernegativaca, tzv. Izgrednika, u šačici generičnih računalno generiranih akcijskih scena, a i daje joj ljubavni interes u vidu bizarnog lika, humanoidnog Raka (Jason Bateman) s kliještima umjesto ruku kojima mu nije lako uzeti čašu.

"Thunder Force" bi bio zabavniji da se posve fokusirao na parodijske superjunačke momente po mjeri McCarthy, kao kad negativac pita Lydiju "Koji je ovo miris?" i ona odgovara "Kostim, ne pere se". Neće "Gromovnice" u "koprive".

Idući film McCarthy snima bez Falconea (koična drama "The Starling"), ali pojavit će se zajedno u seriji "God's Perfect Idiot".
