Zbog brzog rasta novih slučajeva COVID-19 zaraze u Izraelu razmišljaju ne samo o još jednoj, trećoj dozi mRNA cjepiva, nego i o mogućnosti cijepljenja svakih šest mjeseci. Za dobavu treće doze cjepiva odlučili su se jer se pokazalo kako zarazniji delta soj, koji je postao dominantan, lakše probija imunološku zaštitu ne samo kod necijepljenih nego i kod cijepljenih, piše Jutarnji list.

Sada pak očigledno strahuju i od mogućnosti da cjepiva ne osiguravaju dugoročnu nego tek kratkoročnu zaštitu te postoji mogućnost uvođenja polugodišnjeg ritma cijepljenja. Još je iz medijskih izvještaja nejasno hoće li svako novo cjepivo, ako se radi o mRNA tehnologiji, biti prilagođeno mogućim sojevima. Izrael je svojevrsni glavni svjetski laboratorij za istraživanje učinkovitosti cjepiva jer su prednjačili u brzini i opsegu cijepljenja, a koristili su samo Pfizerovo cjepivo.

Glavni direktor izraelskog Ministarstva zdravstva, profesor Nachman Ash, zabrinut je zbog sve većeg broja zaraženih, kao i rasta udjela pozitivnih na testiranjima, bez obzira na to što nemaju značajni rast bolesnika na respiratorima niti smrtnih slučajeva. „Možda će treća doza trajati duže. Doista se nadam kako se nećemo morati cijepiti svakih šest mjeseci, te ćemo se cijepiti jednom godišnje, kao kod gripe“, izjavio je profesor Ash.

Nesporno je da u zemljama s visokim udjelom cijepljenih, kao što su Izrael, Island i Irska (koji su provodili tvrde mjere) sada slučajevi rastu brzo, ali praktično nema rasta smrtnih slučajeva. Ispod su grafikoni koji uspoređuju slučajeve, smrti i procijepljenost u Izraelu, Islandu i Irskoj sa stanjem u Hrvatskoj. Hrvatska po slučajevima stoji puno bolje, ali zadnjih dana ipak mali rast smrti.

Ono što je zanimljivo primijetiti da u grupi europskih turističkih zemalja i Britaniji, koje su zabilježile nagli skok delta slučajeva, sada svjedočimo usporavanju zaraze odnosno smanjivanju broja zaraženih unatoč podizanju broja socijalnih kontakata.

Iako je iz niza zemalja vidljivo kako cjepiva zaustavljaju dramatični rast hospitalizacija i smrti, sve više zdravstvenih vlasti sugerira treću dozu, kao i mogućnost redovitog cijepljenja. S obzirom da su farmaceutske kompanije jako podigle cijenu mRNA cjepiva, pitanje učestalosti cijepljenja postaje financijski vrlo ozbiljno. Pfizer je digao cijenu s 15,5 na 19,5 eura, Moderna s 22,60 dolara na 28,5 dolara. Pfizer je zahvaljujući zaradi na cjepivima lani povećao zaradu za trećinu te je ona dosegla 33,5 milijardi dolara.

Eksperti predviđaju kako će prihodi Pfizera od cjepiva doseći 56 milijardi dolara, a Moderne 30 milijardi dolara.

Zbog brzog rasta novih slučajeva COVID-19 zaraze u Izraelu razmišljaju ne samo o još jednoj, trećoj dozi mRNA cjepiva, nego i o mogućnosti cijepljenja svakih šest mjeseci. Za dobavu treće doze cjepiva odlučili su se jer se pokazalo kako zarazniji delta soj, koji je postao dominantan, lakše probija imunološku zaštitu ne samo kod necijepljenih nego i kod cijepljenih, piše Jutarnji list.

Sada pak očigledno strahuju i od mogućnosti da cjepiva ne osiguravaju dugoročnu nego tek kratkoročnu zaštitu te postoji mogućnost uvođenja polugodišnjeg ritma cijepljenja. Još je iz medijskih izvještaja nejasno hoće li svako novo cjepivo, ako se radi o mRNA tehnologiji, biti prilagođeno mogućim sojevima. Izrael je svojevrsni glavni svjetski laboratorij za istraživanje učinkovitosti cjepiva jer su prednjačili u brzini i opsegu cijepljenja, a koristili su samo Pfizerovo cjepivo.

Glavni direktor izraelskog Ministarstva zdravstva, profesor Nachman Ash, zabrinut je zbog sve većeg broja zaraženih, kao i rasta udjela pozitivnih na testiranjima, bez obzira na to što nemaju značajni rast bolesnika na respiratorima niti smrtnih slučajeva. „Možda će treća doza trajati duže. Doista se nadam kako se nećemo morati cijepiti svakih šest mjeseci, te ćemo se cijepiti jednom godišnje, kao kod gripe“, izjavio je profesor Ash.

Nesporno je da u zemljama s visokim udjelom cijepljenih, kao što su Izrael, Island i Irska (koji su provodili tvrde mjere) sada slučajevi rastu brzo, ali praktično nema rasta smrtnih slučajeva. Ispod su grafikoni koji uspoređuju slučajeve, smrti i procijepljenost u Izraelu, Islandu i Irskoj sa stanjem u Hrvatskoj. Hrvatska po slučajevima stoji puno bolje, ali zadnjih dana ipak mali rast smrti.

Ono što je zanimljivo primijetiti da u grupi europskih turističkih zemalja i Britaniji, koje su zabilježile nagli skok delta slučajeva, sada svjedočimo usporavanju zaraze odnosno smanjivanju broja zaraženih unatoč podizanju broja socijalnih kontakata.

Iako je iz niza zemalja vidljivo kako cjepiva zaustavljaju dramatični rast hospitalizacija i smrti, sve više zdravstvenih vlasti sugerira treću dozu, kao i mogućnost redovitog cijepljenja. S obzirom da su farmaceutske kompanije jako podigle cijenu mRNA cjepiva, pitanje učestalosti cijepljenja postaje financijski vrlo ozbiljno. Pfizer je digao cijenu s 15,5 na 19,5 eura, Moderna s 22,60 dolara na 28,5 dolara. Pfizer je zahvaljujući zaradi na cjepivima lani povećao zaradu za trećinu te je ona dosegla 33,5 milijardi dolara.

Eksperti predviđaju kako će prihodi Pfizera od cjepiva doseći 56 milijardi dolara, a Moderne 30 milijardi dolara.

Zbog brzog rasta novih slučajeva COVID-19 zaraze u Izraelu razmišljaju ne samo o još jednoj, trećoj dozi mRNA cjepiva, nego i o mogućnosti cijepljenja svakih šest mjeseci. Za dobavu treće doze cjepiva odlučili su se jer se pokazalo kako zarazniji delta soj, koji je postao dominantan, lakše probija imunološku zaštitu ne samo kod necijepljenih nego i kod cijepljenih, piše Jutarnji list.

Sada pak očigledno strahuju i od mogućnosti da cjepiva ne osiguravaju dugoročnu nego tek kratkoročnu zaštitu te postoji mogućnost uvođenja polugodišnjeg ritma cijepljenja. Još je iz medijskih izvještaja nejasno hoće li svako novo cjepivo, ako se radi o mRNA tehnologiji, biti prilagođeno mogućim sojevima. Izrael je svojevrsni glavni svjetski laboratorij za istraživanje...
