Vijeće općine Tilloy-lez-Marchiennes izabralo je prvu transrodnu gradonačelnicu u Francuskoj, javlja u ponedjeljak BBC.

Tim gradićem na sjeveroistoku Francuske upravljat će 55-godišnja Marie Cau, prva osoba na čelu nekog grada koja se otvoreno izjašnjava kao transrodna.

Cau je u kampanji naglasak stavljala na ekološku održivost i jačanje lokalnog gospodarstva.

Za sebe je kazala da "nije aktivistica" te da se želi usredotočiti na politiku općine u kojoj živi.

"Ljudi me nisu izabrali zato što jesam ili nisam transrodna osoba, izabrali su moj program", kazala je Cau.

Prema njezinim riječima, zanimljivo je da kada stvari postanu normalne, ljudi vas prestanu izdvajati.

Ministrica za ravnopravnost spolova Mariene Schiappa čestitala joj je i izrazila potporu na Twitteru.

"Vidljivost transrodnih osoba i borba protiv transfobije također ovisi o izvršavanju političkih i javnih odgovornosti", tvitala je Schiappa.

Tilloy-lez-Marchiennes, na belgijskoj granici, ima jedva 600 stanovnika.

Stanovnici tog gradića su izabrali vijećnike, svi redom s liste "Odlučujmo zajedno", a oni su potom izabrali Cau, koja je također bila na toj listi.

Vijeće općine Tilloy-lez-Marchiennes izabralo je prvu transrodnu gradonačelnicu u Francuskoj, javlja u ponedjeljak BBC.

Tim gradićem na sjeveroistoku Francuske upravljat će 55-godišnja Marie Cau, prva osoba na čelu nekog grada koja se otvoreno izjašnjava kao transrodna.

Cau je u kampanji naglasak stavljala na ekološku održivost i jačanje lokalnog gospodarstva.

Za sebe je kazala da "nije aktivistica" te da se želi usredotočiti na politiku općine u kojoj živi.

"Ljudi me nisu izabrali zato što jesam ili nisam transrodna osoba, izabrali su moj program", kazala je Cau.

Prema njezinim riječima, zanimljivo je da kada stvari postanu normalne, ljudi vas prestanu izdvajati.

Ministrica za ravnopravnost spolova Mariene Schiappa čestitala joj je i izrazila potporu na Twitteru.

"Vidljivost transrodnih osoba i borba protiv transfobije također ovisi o izvršavanju političkih i javnih odgovornosti", tvitala je Schiappa.

Tilloy-lez-Marchiennes, na belgijskoj granici, ima jedva 600 stanovnika.

Stanovnici tog gradića su izabrali vijećnike, svi redom s liste "Odlučujmo zajedno", a oni su potom izabrali Cau, koja je također bila na toj listi.

Vijeće općine Tilloy-lez-Marchiennes izabralo je prvu transrodnu gradonačelnicu u Francuskoj, javlja u ponedjeljak BBC.

Tim gradićem na sjeveroistoku Francuske upravljat će 55-godišnja Marie Cau, prva osoba na čelu nekog grada koja se otvoreno izjašnjava kao transrodna.

Cau je u kampanji naglasak stavljala na ekološku održivost i jačanje lokalnog gospodarstva.

Za sebe je kazala da "nije aktivistica" te da se želi usredotočiti na politiku općine u kojoj živi.

"Ljudi me nisu izabrali zato što jesam ili nisam transrodna osoba, izabrali su moj program", kazala je Cau.

Prema njezinim riječima, zanimljivo je da kada stvari postanu normalne, ljudi vas prestanu izdvajati.

Ministrica za ravnopravnost spolova Mariene Schiappa čestitala joj je i izrazila...
