Stručnjaci AstraZenece vjeruju da je cjepivo te britansko-švedske tvrtke djelotvorno protiv novih varijanti koronavirusa, rekli su u ponedjeljak, na dan kad je novo veliko istraživanje pokazalo da je ono 79 posto učinkovito u prevenciji bolesti i apsolutno učinkovito u sprečavanju teških oboljenja.

Treća faza kliničkih istraživanja u SAD-u, provedena na 32,4 tisuća ispitanika u SAD-u, Čileu i Peruu, pokazala je da je AstraZenecino cjepivo djelotvorno u 79 posto slučajeva, a u starijih od 65 godina 80 posto. Istraživanje je pokazalo i da je cjepivo u potpunosti djelotvorno protiv razvijanja teških oblika covida-19.

Cjepivo se apliciralo u dvije doze s četiri tjedna razmaka.

Izvršni potpredsjednik AstraZenece za istraživanja i razvoj Mene Pangalos na virtualnoj konferenciji za medije naglasio je kako je to istraživanje provedeno kad su u cirkulaciji već bile nove varijante koronavirusa, što sugerira da su i one bile uključene u testiranje.

„Mislim da će cjepivo biti učinkovito protiv svih varijanti“, rekao je Pangalos i dodao da su dodatna istraživanja u tijeku.

Ann Falsey, profesorica sa sveučilišta Rochester koja je bila suvoditeljica istraživanja u SAD-u, također je rekla da je optimistična u djelotvornosti cjepiva na nove varijante.

To je ispitivanje pokazalo i kako je AstraZenecino cjepivo sigurno i ne nosi povećani rizik od tromboze zbog kojeg je niz europskih država prošli tjedan privremeno zaustavio cijepljenje.

Znanstvenici su nakon cijepljenja zabilježili reakcije poput boli na mjestu uboda, glavobolje, umora, zimice, temperature i boli u mišićima.

Stručnjaci AstraZenece vjeruju da je cjepivo te britansko-švedske tvrtke djelotvorno protiv novih varijanti koronavirusa, rekli su u ponedjeljak, na dan kad je novo veliko istraživanje pokazalo da je ono 79 posto učinkovito u prevenciji bolesti i apsolutno učinkovito u sprečavanju teških oboljenja.

Treća faza kliničkih istraživanja u SAD-u, provedena na 32,4 tisuća ispitanika u SAD-u, Čileu i Peruu, pokazala je da je AstraZenecino cjepivo djelotvorno u 79 posto slučajeva, a u starijih od 65 godina 80 posto. Istraživanje je pokazalo i da je cjepivo u potpunosti djelotvorno protiv razvijanja teških oblika covida-19.

Cjepivo se apliciralo u dvije doze s četiri tjedna razmaka.

Izvršni potpredsjednik AstraZenece za istraživanja i razvoj Mene Pangalos na virtualnoj konferenciji za medije naglasio je kako je to istraživanje provedeno kad su u cirkulaciji već bile nove varijante koronavirusa, što sugerira da su i one bile uključene u testiranje.

„Mislim da će cjepivo biti učinkovito protiv svih varijanti“, rekao je Pangalos i dodao da su dodatna istraživanja u tijeku.

Ann Falsey, profesorica sa sveučilišta Rochester koja je bila suvoditeljica istraživanja u SAD-u, također je rekla da je optimistična u djelotvornosti cjepiva na nove varijante.

To je ispitivanje pokazalo i kako je AstraZenecino cjepivo sigurno i ne nosi povećani rizik od tromboze zbog kojeg je niz europskih država prošli tjedan privremeno zaustavio cijepljenje.

Znanstvenici su nakon cijepljenja zabilježili reakcije poput boli na mjestu uboda, glavobolje, umora, zimice, temperature i boli u mišićima.

Stručnjaci AstraZenece vjeruju da je cjepivo te britansko-švedske tvrtke djelotvorno protiv novih varijanti koronavirusa, rekli su u ponedjeljak, na dan kad je novo veliko istraživanje pokazalo da je ono 79 posto učinkovito u prevenciji bolesti i apsolutno učinkovito u sprečavanju teških oboljenja.

Treća faza kliničkih istraživanja u SAD-u, provedena na 32,4 tisuća ispitanika u SAD-u, Čileu i Peruu, pokazala je da je AstraZenecino cjepivo djelotvorno u 79 posto slučajeva, a u starijih od 65 godina 80 posto. Istraživanje je pokazalo i da je cjepivo u potpunosti djelotvorno protiv razvijanja teških oblika covida-19.

Cjepivo se apliciralo u dvije doze s četiri tjedna razmaka.
