Odakle je ovaj 49-godišnjak on ne želi reći. Samo da je nekoliko sati putovao vlakom. Sad sjedi u praznom restoranu u središtu Bologne.
Gdje Luigi Bonaventura obično boravi, to ne bi trebao itko znati. On je prije 13 godina napustio svoju kriminalnu obitelj i od tada je stotine mafijaša doveo iza rešetaka. Zato mu je život u opasnosti. Nervozan je i tek s vremenom se malo opušta. Iscrpljen je od putovanja, kaže on. Bonaventura uzdiše i uzima bocu s vodom. Kad se pribrao i počeo govoriti, gotovo ga nije bilo moguće zaustaviti. Pripovijeda o svom životu koji je pun strave i užasa koji ga prati i noću u snovima. „Sljedećeg jutra sam ustao i rekao sebi: moram se boriti kako bih postao bolji.“
Presudan za njegovu borbu mogao bi postati početak mamutskog suđenja pripadnicima Ndranghete, kalabrijske mafije, kojoj je Luigi Bonaventura pripadao više od polovice svoga života. U Lamezia Termeu, gradu u južnotalijanskoj regiji Kalabriji, u iduće dvije godine bi stotine optuženika trebale biti izvedene pred sud. Među njima su odvjetnici, političari, poduzetnici. Mafijaši i njihovi pomagači. Bonaventura pozna mnoge od njih iz vremena kad je i sam bio mafijaš i na suđenju će nastupiti kao svjedok, piše Deutsche Welle.
Globalno umrežene organizacije
Ndranghetu se smatra posebno opasnom i teško ju je nadzirati. Za to postoji jedan razlog, objašnjava ovaj bivši mafijaš. Članovi se mogu u sjeni slobodno kretati i zato je tako teško zaustaviti ih.
Ndrangheta manje funkcionira kao organizacija, a više kao mreža pojedinačnih obiteljskih klanova, koji se djelomice bore i međusobno, a koji žive prema vlastitim društvenim pravilima. Njihovi kriminalni poslovi sežu daleko izvan Kalabrije.

Ranije su novac zarađivali, među ostalim, otmicama, danas je njihovo djelovanje manje upadljivo. Na gospodarski jačem sjeveru Italije Ndrangheta puno zarađuje na poslovima koje dodjeljuje država, osobito u građevinskom sektoru. Ali, ona je odlično umrežena i na međunarodnoj razini. Iz Južne Amerike primjerice krijumčari većinu kokaina za europsko tržište. Neki članovi mafije kojima će se sad suditi u Kalabriji uhićeni su u Njemačkoj.
Djecu se odgaja kao vojnike
Bonaventurin životni put je od početka bio određen. Tko se rodi u obitelji koja pripada Ndrangheti od njega se očekuje da nastavi tu tradiciju. Njegov djed Luigi Vrenna svojevremeno je bio jedan od glavnih mafijaških bosova, a Bonaventurin otac je od svoga sina „pravio vojnika“, pripovijeda on. Kao dijete je učio pucati iz vatrenog oružja, kako podnositi bol i ubijati životinje, kako bi se navikao na nasilje. Oružje je za njega zamijenilo igračke. „Nemaš djetinjstvo.“
Kao mladića obitelj ga je slala u druge krajeve Italije da nauči tamošnje običaje i dijalekte. Bio je spavač, kako kaže, kakve danas znamo u vezi s terorističkom organizacijom Islamskom državom.
1990-ih godina ga je obitelj pozvala da se vrati kući. U Kalabriji je izbio rat između klanova Ndranghete. Vojnik Luigi Bonaventura je postao aktivan – kao ucjenjivač, krijumčar droge i ubojica. Bonaventura otvoreno govori o tom vremenu, ali važne su mu okolnosti. Naglašava da nikad nije ubio nevine ljude, da se vodio rat. U jednom konkretnom slučaju se, kaže, osvetio neprijateljskom klanu za ubojstvo jednog djeteta iz njegove obitelji.

Zbog tih jakih obiteljskih veza je, među ostalim, borba protiv Ndranghete tako teška. Rijetki se usude napustiti mafijašku organizaciju i usprotiviti se vlastitoj obitelji. Ali, Bonaventura se prije 13 godina, nakon rođenja drugog djeteta, odlučio na taj korak uz potporu svoje supruge. Od tada je pravosudnim organima pomogao da stotine kriminalnih pripadnika Ndranghte uhite. Zbog zločina koje je sam počinio proveo je deset godina u zatvoru. Nakon toga je kao svoju životnu zadaću uzeo razjašnjavanje zločina Ndranghete. Sa suprugom je osnovao udrugu koja se zalaže za zaštitu informanata. On želi druge ohrabriti da učine isto što i on te potiče državu da se bolje brine za one ljude koji napuste mafiju.
Njegova generacija Ndranghete je svoje uglavnom odradila. Danas mafijaški bosovi više ne odgajaju djecu da postanu ubojice nego investiraju u obrazovanje. „Oni bi trebali postati gospodarski kriminalci – bankari i odvjetnici“, kaže Bonaventura. On se nada da će suđenje pridonijeti razotkrivanju tih struktura. „Ja sam izgubio snove i energiju jer nisam vjerovao u kraj Ndranghete. Ali, s ovim suđenjem i radom državnih odvjetnika možda se nešto može promijeniti.“

Odakle je ovaj 49-godišnjak on ne želi reći. Samo da je nekoliko sati putovao vlakom. Sad sjedi u praznom restoranu u središtu Bologne.
Gdje Luigi Bonaventura obično boravi, to ne bi trebao itko znati. On je prije 13 godina napustio svoju kriminalnu obitelj i od tada je stotine mafijaša doveo iza rešetaka. Zato mu je život u opasnosti. Nervozan je i tek s vremenom se malo opušta. Iscrpljen je od putovanja, kaže on. Bonaventura uzdiše i uzima bocu s vodom. Kad se pribrao i počeo govoriti, gotovo ga nije bilo moguće zaustaviti. Pripovijeda o svom životu koji je pun strave i užasa koji ga prati i noću u snovima. „Sljedećeg jutra sam ustao i rekao sebi: moram se boriti kako bih postao bolji.“
Presudan za njegovu borbu mogao bi postati početak mamutskog suđenja pripadnicima Ndranghete, kalabrijske mafije, kojoj je Luigi Bonaventura pripadao više od polovice svoga života. U Lamezia Termeu, gradu u južnotalijanskoj regiji Kalabriji, u iduće dvije godine bi stotine optuženika trebale biti izvedene pred sud. Među njima su odvjetnici, političari, poduzetnici. Mafijaši i njihovi pomagači. Bonaventura pozna mnoge od njih iz vremena kad je i sam bio mafijaš i na suđenju će nastupiti kao svjedok, piše Deutsche Welle.
Globalno umrežene organizacije
Ndranghetu se smatra posebno opasnom i teško ju je nadzirati. Za to postoji jedan razlog, objašnjava ovaj bivši mafijaš. Članovi se mogu u sjeni slobodno kretati i zato je tako teško zaustaviti ih.
Ndrangheta manje funkcionira kao organizacija, a više kao mreža pojedinačnih obiteljskih klanova, koji se djelomice bore i međusobno, a koji žive prema vlastitim društvenim pravilima. Njihovi kriminalni poslovi sežu daleko izvan Kalabrije.

Ranije su novac zarađivali, među ostalim, otmicama, danas je njihovo djelovanje manje upadljivo. Na gospodarski jačem sjeveru Italije Ndrangheta puno zarađuje na poslovima koje dodjeljuje država, osobito u građevinskom sektoru. Ali, ona je odlično umrežena i na međunarodnoj razini. Iz Južne Amerike primjerice krijumčari većinu kokaina za europsko tržište. Neki članovi mafije kojima će se sad suditi u Kalabriji uhićeni su u Njemačkoj.
Djecu se odgaja kao vojnike
Bonaventurin životni put je od početka bio određen. Tko se rodi u obitelji koja pripada Ndrangheti od njega se očekuje da nastavi tu tradiciju. Njegov djed Luigi Vrenna svojevremeno je bio jedan od glavnih mafijaških bosova, a Bonaventurin otac je od svoga sina „pravio vojnika“, pripovijeda on. Kao dijete je učio pucati iz vatrenog oružja, kako podnositi bol i ubijati životinje, kako bi se navikao na nasilje. Oružje je za njega zamijenilo igračke. „Nemaš djetinjstvo.“
Kao mladića obitelj ga je slala u druge krajeve Italije da nauči tamošnje običaje i dijalekte. Bio je spavač, kako kaže, kakve danas znamo u vezi s terorističkom organizacijom Islamskom državom.
1990-ih godina ga je obitelj pozvala da se vrati kući. U Kalabriji je izbio rat između klanova Ndranghete. Vojnik Luigi Bonaventura je postao aktivan – kao ucjenjivač, krijumčar droge i ubojica. Bonaventura otvoreno govori o tom vremenu, ali važne su mu okolnosti. Naglašava da nikad nije ubio nevine ljude, da se vodio rat. U jednom konkretnom slučaju se, kaže, osvetio neprijateljskom klanu za ubojstvo jednog djeteta iz njegove obitelji.

Zbog tih jakih obiteljskih veza je, među ostalim, borba protiv Ndranghete tako teška. Rijetki se usude napustiti mafijašku organizaciju i usprotiviti se vlastitoj obitelji. Ali, Bonaventura se prije 13 godina, nakon rođenja drugog djeteta, odlučio na taj korak uz potporu svoje supruge. Od tada je pravosudnim organima pomogao da stotine kriminalnih pripadnika Ndranghte uhite. Zbog zločina koje je sam počinio proveo je deset godina u zatvoru. Nakon toga je kao svoju životnu zadaću uzeo razjašnjavanje zločina Ndranghete. Sa suprugom je osnovao udrugu koja se zalaže za zaštitu informanata. On želi druge ohrabriti da učine isto što i on te potiče državu da se bolje brine za one ljude koji napuste mafiju.
Njegova generacija Ndranghete je svoje uglavnom odradila. Danas mafijaški bosovi više ne odgajaju djecu da postanu ubojice nego investiraju u obrazovanje. „Oni bi trebali postati gospodarski kriminalci – bankari i odvjetnici“, kaže Bonaventura. On se nada da će suđenje pridonijeti razotkrivanju tih struktura. „Ja sam izgubio snove i energiju jer nisam vjerovao u kraj Ndranghete. Ali, s ovim suđenjem i radom državnih odvjetnika možda se nešto može promijeniti.“
