Ratni sukob između Rusije i Ukrajine može završiti ako Rusi ostvare sve svoje ciljeve ili ako Ukrajina, uz pomoć SAD-a, EU-a, Japana, Australije... krene u protuofenzivu, odnosno preuzme inicijativu u ratu i vrati Donbas, što bi za njih bio “san snova”, jer njima je prvi i osnovni cilj vratiti Donbas, kazuje nam dr. Branimir Vidmarović, stručnjak za međunarodne odnose.

Američki predsjednik Biden traži od Kongresa odobrenje financijske pomoći za Ukrajinu u iznosu od 33 milijarde američkih dolara.

- Da, radi se o ogromnom iznosu uz pomoć kojega se može kupiti naoružanje kojim će Ukrajinci postati još žešći takmac Rusima. No, tu pomoć koju traži Biden treba promatrati u svjetlu američkih želja u Ukrajini. Ne daje SAD toliku pomoć Ukrajini tek tako. Oni žele oslabiti Rusiju, što je više moguće, tako da ona globalno više nikada ne bude utjecajan igrač - kazuje Vidmarović.

Stalno se po svjetskim medijima provlači misao kako svijet nikada nije bio bliže trećem svjetskom ratu, pa nas je zanimalo moramo li zaista strepiti od nečeg takvog?

- Ovo što se sada događa u Ukrajini meni ne “miriše” na mogućnost trećeg svjetskog rata. Znamo da dvije trećine svijeta nisu umiješane u ovaj rat u Ukrajini, već je to sukob između Rusije i zapadnog svijeta. No, treći svjetski rat može nastati kao niz okršaja koji nisu vezani jedan s drugim. Tu prvenstveno mislim na mogući sukob na Tajvanu, pa sukob Sjeverne i Južne Koreje, pa uvijek prisutni Iran. To su sve svjetska žarišta na kojima može izbiti sukob, koji bi davao sliku trećeg svjetskog rata, kazuje Vidmarović.

Svijet strahuje i od upotrebe nuklearnog naoružanja.

- Naš vojni stručnjak Igor Tabak i Tonči Tadić, najpoznatiji hrvatski fizičar, kažu da je nemoguće da se upotrijebi nuklearno naoružanje i da se radi samo o blefu. Međutim, isto tako treba znati da su u SAD-u vrlo ozbiljno shvatili prijetnju nuklearnim oružjem te su tako odgodili testiranje svojih balističkih raketa, a i oformili su poseban tim u Washingtonu koji prati i najmanji korak ruskih vojnih resursa koji mogu prevoziti nuklearno naoružanje. Po meni je upotreba nuklearnog oružja krajnja opcija, koja je izrazito mala, ali ipak postoji. Ako Rusi budu na terenu ostvarivali svoje vojne ciljeve, ta opcija upotrebe nuklearnog oružja bit će sve manja, no ako Ukrajinci s vojnom pomoći koju dobivaju sa Zapada preuzmu inicijativu u ratu, tada će, od strane Rusije, rasti mogućnost upotrebe nuklearnog naoružanja, kazuje Vidmarović.

Posljednjih dana se u medijima mogu pročitati spekulacije o zdravstvenom stanju predsjednika Vladimira Putina.

- Mi iz Rusije nemamo pravih informacija i to su tek nagađanja da je njegovo zdravstveno stanje narušeno. No, kada bi se te spekulacije pokazale točnim i kada bi Putin zaista bio teško bolestan ili nesposoban upravljati svojom vojskom, to ništa ne bi značilo za sam rat u Ukrajini. U slučaju njegove smrti ili nemogućnosti upravljanja, smjer ruske politike će ostati isti, jer je ruska vojna elita na istoj valnoj duljini kao i Putin. Morate znati da ruske vojne elite profitiraju od ovog rata u Ukrajini i to u statusnom smislu, ali i u financijskom smislu. I oni se neće tako lako odreći svega toga, kazuje Vidmarović.

Finska i Švedska najavljuju ulazak u NATO savez, Rusija zbog toga “zvecka” oružjem i prijeti. Što možemo očekivati?

- U ovom trenutku strah je dominantan, kako u cijelom svijetu, tako i u Švedskoj i Finskoj. Njihovu želju za ulaskom u NATO savez treba promatrati kroz prizmu straha. Međutim, isto tako valja znati da svaki vojni savez slabi ako se širi, jer tada potrebe tog saveza postaju mnogo veće. NATO savez je u svojim počecima bio daleko najjači, jer je tada u njemu bilo samo nekoliko država - zaključuje dr. Vidmarović.

O Milanoviću

Zanimalo nas je i kako na 'sukob' ili razmimoilaženje mišljenja između hrvatskog predsjednika Zorana Milanovića i premijera Andreja Plenkovića gledaju u svijetu i je li ova napetost između dvojice vodećih ljudi države šteti ugledu Hrvatske.

- Moram priznati da nisam naišao na puno reakcija svojih kolega u svijetu. Jedino sam naišao na reakcije kolega iz BiH koji su razočarani onim što govori predsjednik Milanović, odnosno smeta im odjek onoga što Milanović govori. Uz najbolju volju ne mogu povezati kakve veze ima BiH s ulaskom Švedske i Finske u NATO savez i zašto to predsjednik spominje.

Milanović je vrlo inteligentan čovjek, predsjednik je Republike i mora biti kritičan, ali mislim da je izjavom o BiH u svjetlu mogućeg ulaska Švedske i Finske u NATO pomiješao kruške i jabuke. Neke njegove izjave i teze stoje, ali mislim da ove izjave o BiH može davati kao profesor na fakultetu ili analitičar, ne kao predsjednik države. On svojim izjavama mora pokazati jedinstvo s premijerom, a ako se ne slaže s nečim može o tome napisati članak i argumentirano ga obrazložiti, a ne s pozicija predsjednika Republike govoriti ono što je destruktivno za jedinstvo. Mislim da se u ovom "sukobu" Milanović - Plenković radi o srazu nepotrebnih ambicija, kaže Vidmarović.

Ratni sukob između Rusije i Ukrajine može završiti ako Rusi ostvare sve svoje ciljeve ili ako Ukrajina, uz pomoć SAD-a, EU-a, Japana, Australije... krene u protuofenzivu, odnosno preuzme inicijativu u ratu i vrati Donbas, što bi za njih bio “san snova”, jer njima je prvi i osnovni cilj vratiti Donbas, kazuje nam dr. Branimir Vidmarović, stručnjak za međunarodne odnose.

Američki predsjednik Biden traži od Kongresa odobrenje financijske pomoći za Ukrajinu u iznosu od 33 milijarde američkih dolara.

- Da, radi se o ogromnom iznosu uz pomoć kojega se može kupiti naoružanje kojim će Ukrajinci postati još žešći takmac Rusima. No, tu pomoć koju traži Biden treba promatrati u svjetlu američkih želja u Ukrajini. Ne daje SAD toliku pomoć Ukrajini tek tako. Oni žele oslabiti Rusiju, što je više moguće, tako da ona globalno više nikada ne bude utjecajan igrač - kazuje Vidmarović.

Stalno se po svjetskim medijima provlači misao kako svijet nikada nije bio bliže trećem svjetskom ratu, pa nas je zanimalo moramo li zaista strepiti od nečeg takvog?

- Ovo što se sada događa u Ukrajini meni ne “miriše” na mogućnost trećeg svjetskog rata. Znamo da dvije trećine svijeta nisu umiješane u ovaj rat u Ukrajini, već je to sukob između Rusije i zapadnog svijeta. No, treći svjetski rat može nastati kao niz okršaja koji nisu vezani jedan s drugim. Tu prvenstveno mislim na mogući sukob na Tajvanu, pa sukob Sjeverne i Južne Koreje, pa uvijek prisutni Iran. To su sve svjetska žarišta na kojima može izbiti sukob, koji bi davao sliku trećeg svjetskog rata, kazuje Vidmarović.

Svijet strahuje i od upotrebe nuklearnog naoružanja.

- Naš vojni stručnjak Igor Tabak i Tonči Tadić, najpoznatiji hrvatski fizičar, kažu da je nemoguće da se upotrijebi nuklearno naoružanje i da se radi samo o blefu. Međutim, isto tako treba znati da su u SAD-u vrlo ozbiljno shvatili prijetnju nuklearnim oružjem te su tako odgodili testiranje svojih balističkih raketa, a i oformili su poseban tim u Washingtonu koji prati i najmanji korak ruskih vojnih resursa koji mogu prevoziti nuklearno naoružanje. Po meni je upotreba nuklearnog oružja krajnja opcija, koja je izrazito mala, ali ipak postoji. Ako Rusi budu na terenu ostvarivali svoje vojne ciljeve, ta opcija upotrebe nuklearnog oružja bit će sve manja, no ako Ukrajinci s vojnom pomoći koju dobivaju sa Zapada preuzmu inicijativu u ratu, tada će, od strane Rusije, rasti mogućnost upotrebe nuklearnog naoružanja, kazuje Vidmarović.

Posljednjih dana se u medijima mogu pročitati spekulacije o zdravstvenom stanju predsjednika Vladimira Putina.

- Mi iz Rusije nemamo pravih informacija i to su tek nagađanja da je njegovo zdravstveno stanje narušeno. No, kada bi se te spekulacije pokazale točnim i kada bi Putin zaista bio teško bolestan ili nesposoban upravljati svojom vojskom, to ništa ne bi značilo za sam rat u Ukrajini. U slučaju njegove smrti ili nemogućnosti upravljanja, smjer ruske politike će ostati isti, jer je ruska vojna elita na istoj valnoj duljini kao i Putin. Morate znati da ruske vojne elite profitiraju od ovog rata u Ukrajini i to u statusnom smislu, ali i u financijskom smislu. I oni se neće tako lako odreći svega toga, kazuje Vidmarović.

Finska i Švedska najavljuju ulazak u NATO savez, Rusija zbog toga “zvecka” oružjem i prijeti. Što možemo očekivati?

- U ovom trenutku strah je dominantan, kako u cijelom svijetu, tako i u Švedskoj i Finskoj. Njihovu želju za ulaskom u NATO savez treba promatrati kroz prizmu straha. Međutim, isto tako valja znati da svaki vojni savez slabi ako se širi, jer tada potrebe tog saveza postaju mnogo veće. NATO savez je u svojim počecima bio daleko najjači, jer je tada u njemu bilo samo nekoliko država - zaključuje dr. Vidmarović.

O Milanoviću

Zanimalo nas je i kako na 'sukob' ili razmimoilaženje mišljenja između hrvatskog predsjednika Zorana Milanovića i premijera Andreja Plenkovića gledaju u svijetu i je li ova napetost između dvojice vodećih ljudi države šteti ugledu Hrvatske.

- Moram priznati da nisam naišao na puno reakcija svojih kolega u svijetu. Jedino sam naišao na reakcije kolega iz BiH koji su razočarani onim što govori predsjednik Milanović, odnosno smeta im odjek onoga što Milanović govori. Uz najbolju volju ne mogu povezati kakve veze ima BiH s ulaskom Švedske i Finske u NATO savez i zašto to predsjednik spominje.

Milanović je vrlo inteligentan čovjek, predsjednik je Republike i mora biti kritičan, ali mislim da je izjavom o BiH u svjetlu mogućeg ulaska Švedske i Finske u NATO pomiješao kruške i jabuke. Neke njegove izjave i teze stoje, ali mislim da ove izjave o BiH može davati kao profesor na fakultetu ili analitičar, ne kao predsjednik države. On svojim izjavama mora pokazati jedinstvo s premijerom, a ako se ne slaže s nečim može o tome napisati članak i argumentirano ga obrazložiti, a ne s pozicija predsjednika Republike govoriti ono što je destruktivno za jedinstvo. Mislim da se u ovom "sukobu" Milanović - Plenković radi o srazu nepotrebnih ambicija, kaže Vidmarović.
