Velika Britanija suočava se zbog Brexita i pandemije s manjkom vozača kamiona, što uzrokuje sve veće probleme u lancima opskrbe, doznaje Jutarnji list. Procjenjuje se kako bi trebali uvesti oko 90.000 vozača za normalizaciju stanja. Ključni problem je odlazak velikog broja vozača iz istočne Europe koji više ne žele pristajati na komplicirane uvjete rada zbog pandemije, premalo slobodnog vremena i izmjene poreznih propisa koje su im smanjile primanja.

Uz to, nakon Brexita mnogim vozačima su čekanja na granicama i papirologija postali previše naporni. Donesena su i pravila o minimalnim jezičnim vještinama, a veliki broj vozača iz istočne Europe ne može se pohvaliti odličnim engleskim. Jedan od razloga zašto vozači iz istočne Europe napuštaju u Britaniju jest činjenica da su postali sve više traženi te bolje plaćeni u zemljama porijekla. Rumunjska, zemlja s 20 milijuna stanovnika, procjenjuje da joj nedostaje 20.000 vozača.

Vozači se masovno vraćaju i u Mađarsku te Poljsku. Jedan dio vozača je pak u Britaniji dovoljno uštedio za svoje planove u domovini, odlaze kući i investiraju zarade. Neki su se vratili u domovinu jer zbog promjene propisa nisu mogli raditi kao nezavisni samostalni biznisi koji pružaju usluge prijevoza. Jedan broj vozača je pak shvatio da su procedure u zemljama poput Njemačke jednostavnije, a plaće podjednake.

Situacija je postala akutna pa su britanski industrijski lideri pozvali vladu da stave vozače teških kamiona na prioritetnu listu deficitarnih zanimanja. Ako je neko zanimanje na prioritetnoj listi deficitarnih zanimanja, onda strani radnici mogu izbjeći antiimigracijska pravila donesena nakon Brexita koja su onemogućavala njihov angažman. Iz vlade su poslovnim liderima pak odgovorili pismom u kojem ih mole da se oslone na britanske vozače jer su strani ionako samo privremeno rješenje. Čak i da se vozači kamiona stave na prioritetnu listu deficitarnih zanimanja prema procjenama stručnjaka, male su šanse da se vozači iz istočne Europe vrate u Britaniju.

Eksperti iz agencije koje regrutiraju vozače u Britaniji smatraju kako bi možda čak bilo pametnije privući neke od 300.000 britanskih licenciranih vozača koji su napustili taj posao nego uvoziti strane vozače kao privremeno rješenje, piše Jutarnji list.

Samo od početka pandemije 50.000 britanskih vozača napustilo je tu profesiju.

Agencije koje vrbuju vozače sada su se okrenule prema Irskoj te balkanskim zemljama koje nisu članice EU – Srbiji i Makedoniji.

Velika Britanija suočava se zbog Brexita i pandemije s manjkom vozača kamiona, što uzrokuje sve veće probleme u lancima opskrbe, doznaje Jutarnji list. Procjenjuje se kako bi trebali uvesti oko 90.000 vozača za normalizaciju stanja. Ključni problem je odlazak velikog broja vozača iz istočne Europe koji više ne žele pristajati na komplicirane uvjete rada zbog pandemije, premalo slobodnog vremena i izmjene poreznih propisa koje su im smanjile primanja.

Uz to, nakon Brexita mnogim vozačima su čekanja na granicama i papirologija postali previše naporni. Donesena su i pravila o minimalnim jezičnim vještinama, a veliki broj vozača iz istočne Europe ne može se pohvaliti odličnim engleskim. Jedan od razloga zašto vozači iz istočne Europe napuštaju u Britaniju jest činjenica da su postali sve više traženi te bolje plaćeni u zemljama porijekla. Rumunjska, zemlja s 20 milijuna stanovnika, procjenjuje da joj nedostaje 20.000 vozača.

Vozači se masovno vraćaju i u Mađarsku te Poljsku. Jedan dio vozača je pak u Britaniji dovoljno uštedio za svoje planove u domovini, odlaze kući i investiraju zarade. Neki su se vratili u domovinu jer zbog promjene propisa nisu mogli raditi kao nezavisni samostalni biznisi koji pružaju usluge prijevoza. Jedan broj vozača je pak shvatio da su procedure u zemljama poput Njemačke jednostavnije, a plaće podjednake.

Situacija je postala akutna pa su britanski industrijski lideri pozvali vladu da stave vozače teških kamiona na prioritetnu listu deficitarnih zanimanja. Ako je neko zanimanje na prioritetnoj listi deficitarnih zanimanja, onda strani radnici mogu izbjeći antiimigracijska pravila donesena nakon Brexita koja su onemogućavala njihov angažman. Iz vlade su poslovnim liderima pak odgovorili pismom u kojem ih mole da se oslone na britanske vozače jer su strani ionako samo privremeno rješenje. Čak i da se vozači kamiona stave na prioritetnu listu deficitarnih zanimanja prema procjenama stručnjaka, male su šanse da se vozači iz istočne Europe vrate u Britaniju.

Eksperti iz agencije koje regrutiraju vozače u Britaniji smatraju kako bi možda čak bilo pametnije privući neke od 300.000 britanskih licenciranih vozača koji su napustili taj posao nego uvoziti strane vozače kao privremeno rješenje, piše Jutarnji list.

Samo od početka pandemije 50.000 britanskih vozača napustilo je tu profesiju.

Agencije koje vrbuju vozače sada su se okrenule prema Irskoj te balkanskim zemljama koje nisu članice EU – Srbiji i Makedoniji.

Velika Britanija suočava se zbog Brexita i pandemije s manjkom vozača kamiona, što uzrokuje sve veće probleme u lancima opskrbe, doznaje Jutarnji list. Procjenjuje se kako bi trebali uvesti oko 90.000 vozača za normalizaciju stanja. Ključni problem je odlazak velikog broja vozača iz istočne Europe koji više ne žele pristajati na komplicirane uvjete rada zbog pandemije, premalo slobodnog vremena i izmjene poreznih propisa koje su im smanjile primanja.

Uz to, nakon Brexita mnogim vozačima su čekanja na granicama i papirologija postali previše naporni. Donesena su i pravila o minimalnim jezičnim vještinama, a veliki broj vozača iz istočne Europe ne može se pohvaliti odličnim engleskim. Jedan od razloga zašto vozači iz istočne Europe napuštaju u Britaniju jest...
