Brazilski Senat pokrenuo je istragu o načinu na koji se predsjednik Jair Bolsonaro, poznat još i kao „Tropski Trump“ odnosio prema epidemiji koronavirusa u ovoj zemlji. Istraga bi mogla otvoriti mnoga pitanja, uključujući i mogućnost da se Bolsonara naposljetku optuži za kršenje zakona.

Rodrigo Pacheco, lider većine u brazilskom Senatu, izjavio je da bi parlamentarna straga o postupanju federalnih vlasti u vrijeme pandemije mogla biti vođena usporedno s istragom o raspodjeli federalnih sredstava lokalnim samoupravama, objavio je Reuters.

Brazil je jedna od pandemijom najpogođenijih svjetskih zemalja: od početka pandemije od Covida-19 umrlo je gotovo 400 tisuća ljudi, a sadašnja smrtnost iznosi više od 3800 ljudi dnevno. Bolsonaro je od početka njegovao ignorantski odnos prema pandemiji, a jednako je posprdan bio i prema nošenju maski, idejama bilo kakvog zaključavanja, kao i prema cijepljenju. Za opasnu bolest govorio je da je posrijedi samo "blaga gripa oko koje ne treba stvarati paniku"., te je bezglavo branio interese kapitala naušrb stotina tisuća izgubljenih života.

Upravo zbog nekontroliranog širenja virusa u Brazilu, što je omogućio Bolsonaro, tamo su se razvili neki od najopasnijih novih sojeva bolesti. Soj koji je nastao u Manusu pokazao se naročito opakim, poharavši i ljude koji su već preboljeli primarni oblik korone. Zbog divljanja podtipa koronavirusa P1 poznatijega pod imenom “brazilski soj”, medicinske ustanove u mnogim dijelovima zemlje su dovedene do ruba pucanja, a na grobljima više nema mjesta. 

"Kao i sve mutacije, Manaus-mutacija prouzročena je nekontroliranom cirkulacijom virusa", izjavila je epidemiologinja Natália Pasternak. Mjere predostrožnosti su ignorirane ili ublažene te su ljudi zanemarili izolaciju, što je dovelo do mutacija koje su sad vjerojatno puno zaraznije i potiču brže širenje bolesti.

Za sve ranije pokušaje da se pokrene istraga protiv njega zbog mora mrtvih i golemih posljedica njegove ignorantske pandemijske politike, Jair Bolsonaro je rutinski krivio oporbene zastupnike. Vrhovni sud je, međutim, prošloga tjedna presudio da dovoljan broj senatora podržava istragu protiv predsjednika i da ona može biti pokrenuta.

Brazilski Senat pokrenuo je istragu o načinu na koji se predsjednik Jair Bolsonaro, poznat još i kao „Tropski Trump“ odnosio prema epidemiji koronavirusa u ovoj zemlji. Istraga bi mogla otvoriti mnoga pitanja, uključujući i mogućnost da se Bolsonara naposljetku optuži za kršenje zakona.

Rodrigo Pacheco, lider većine u brazilskom Senatu, izjavio je da bi parlamentarna straga o postupanju federalnih vlasti u vrijeme pandemije mogla biti vođena usporedno s istragom o raspodjeli federalnih sredstava lokalnim samoupravama, objavio je Reuters.

Brazil je jedna od pandemijom najpogođenijih svjetskih zemalja: od početka pandemije od Covida-19 umrlo je gotovo 400 tisuća ljudi, a sadašnja smrtnost iznosi više od 3800 ljudi dnevno. Bolsonaro je od početka njegovao ignorantski odnos prema pandemiji, a jednako je posprdan bio i prema nošenju maski, idejama bilo kakvog zaključavanja, kao i prema cijepljenju. Za opasnu bolest govorio je da je posrijedi samo "blaga gripa oko koje ne treba stvarati paniku"., te je bezglavo branio interese kapitala naušrb stotina tisuća izgubljenih života.

Upravo zbog nekontroliranog širenja virusa u Brazilu, što je omogućio Bolsonaro, tamo su se razvili neki od najopasnijih novih sojeva bolesti. Soj koji je nastao u Manusu pokazao se naročito opakim, poharavši i ljude koji su već preboljeli primarni oblik korone. Zbog divljanja podtipa koronavirusa P1 poznatijega pod imenom “brazilski soj”, medicinske ustanove u mnogim dijelovima zemlje su dovedene do ruba pucanja, a na grobljima više nema mjesta. 

"Kao i sve mutacije, Manaus-mutacija prouzročena je nekontroliranom cirkulacijom virusa", izjavila je epidemiologinja Natália Pasternak. Mjere predostrožnosti su ignorirane ili ublažene te su ljudi zanemarili izolaciju, što je dovelo do mutacija koje su sad vjerojatno puno zaraznije i potiču brže širenje bolesti.

Za sve ranije pokušaje da se pokrene istraga protiv njega zbog mora mrtvih i golemih posljedica njegove ignorantske pandemijske politike, Jair Bolsonaro je rutinski krivio oporbene zastupnike. Vrhovni sud je, međutim, prošloga tjedna presudio da dovoljan broj senatora podržava istragu protiv predsjednika i da ona može biti pokrenuta.

Brazilski Senat pokrenuo je istragu o načinu na koji se predsjednik Jair Bolsonaro, poznat još i kao „Tropski Trump“ odnosio prema epidemiji koronavirusa u ovoj zemlji. Istraga bi mogla otvoriti mnoga pitanja, uključujući i mogućnost da se Bolsonara naposljetku optuži za kršenje zakona.

Rodrigo Pacheco, lider većine u brazilskom Senatu, izjavio je da bi parlamentarna straga o postupanju federalnih vlasti u vrijeme pandemije mogla biti vođena usporedno s istragom o raspodjeli federalnih sredstava lokalnim samoupravama, objavio je Reuters.

Brazil je jedna od pandemijom najpogođenijih svjetskih zemalja: od početka pandemije od Covida-19 umrlo je gotovo 400 tisuća ljudi, a sadašnja smrtnost iznosi više od 3800 ljudi dnevno. Bolsonaro je od početka njegovao ignorantski...
