Norveški znanstvenici rekli su u četvrtak da su pronašli znakove snažnog imunosnog odgovora u pacijenata pošto su primili cjepivo AstraZenece i nakon toga razvili krvne ugruške.
"Vjerujemo da je ovo važno iznijeti", rekao je Pal Andre Holme iz Sveučilišne bolnice u Oslu koji vjeruje da su pronašli razumno objašnjenje.
U subotu su norveške zdravstvene vlasti priopćile da se troje zdravstvenih djelatnika u Norveškoj koji su nedavno primili AstraZeneceino cjepivo protiv covida-19, liječilo u bolnici zbog krvnih ugrušaka, a jedna od tih osoba je zatim i umrla.
Zbog toga je Norveška jedna od nekoliko zemalja koje su privremeno prekinule cijepljenje AstraZenecinim cjepivom.
Holme je istaknuo da su pacijenti razvili komplikacije u razdoblju od tri do deset dana nakon cijepljenja.
"Ne vidim drugo objašnjenje", rekao je Holme i sugerirao da su pacijenti razvili snažan imunosni odgovor koji je izazvao stvaranje antitijela, a ona su aktivirala trombocite, malene stanične fragmente koji mogu stvoriti ugruške i zaustaviti ili spriječiti krvarenje.
Holme je odbio reći novinarima koliko je pacijenata proučio.
Nakon subotnje objave o komplikacijama u tri zdravstvena djelatnika, Norveški institut za javno zdravlje i Norveška agencija za lijekove počeli su istragu kako bi utvrdili postoji li povezanost između primanja cjepiva i zgrušavanja krvi .
Norveška je ubrizgala više od 121.000 doza AstraZenecina cjepiva prije nego što je odlučila prekinuti cijepljenje tim proizvodom.
Holme je te podatke iznio novinarima prije nego što je Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) u četvrtak navečer objavila rezultate svoje revizije, da je cjepivo AstraZenece sigurno i učinkovito i da koristi primanja nadilaze rizike.
U petak je gotovo desetak zemalja ponovno počelo cijepiti AstraZenecinim cjepivom pošto su europski i britanski regulatori procijenili da su koristi tog cjepiva veće od rizika nakon izvještaja o rijetkim slučajevima poremećaja zgrušavanja krvi.
Norveška je objavila da će još pričekati.

Norveški znanstvenici rekli su u četvrtak da su pronašli znakove snažnog imunosnog odgovora u pacijenata pošto su primili cjepivo AstraZenece i nakon toga razvili krvne ugruške.
"Vjerujemo da je ovo važno iznijeti", rekao je Pal Andre Holme iz Sveučilišne bolnice u Oslu koji vjeruje da su pronašli razumno objašnjenje.
U subotu su norveške zdravstvene vlasti priopćile da se troje zdravstvenih djelatnika u Norveškoj koji su nedavno primili AstraZeneceino cjepivo protiv covida-19, liječilo u bolnici zbog krvnih ugrušaka, a jedna od tih osoba je zatim i umrla.
Zbog toga je Norveška jedna od nekoliko zemalja koje su privremeno prekinule cijepljenje AstraZenecinim cjepivom.
Holme je istaknuo da su pacijenti razvili komplikacije u razdoblju od tri do deset dana nakon cijepljenja.
"Ne vidim drugo objašnjenje", rekao je Holme i sugerirao da su pacijenti razvili snažan imunosni odgovor koji je izazvao stvaranje antitijela, a ona su aktivirala trombocite, malene stanične fragmente koji mogu stvoriti ugruške i zaustaviti ili spriječiti krvarenje.
Holme je odbio reći novinarima koliko je pacijenata proučio.
Nakon subotnje objave o komplikacijama u tri zdravstvena djelatnika, Norveški institut za javno zdravlje i Norveška agencija za lijekove počeli su istragu kako bi utvrdili postoji li povezanost između primanja cjepiva i zgrušavanja krvi .
Norveška je ubrizgala više od 121.000 doza AstraZenecina cjepiva prije nego što je odlučila prekinuti cijepljenje tim proizvodom.
Holme je te podatke iznio novinarima prije nego što je Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) u četvrtak navečer objavila rezultate svoje revizije, da je cjepivo AstraZenece sigurno i učinkovito i da koristi primanja nadilaze rizike.
U petak je gotovo desetak zemalja ponovno počelo cijepiti AstraZenecinim cjepivom pošto su europski i britanski regulatori procijenili da su koristi tog cjepiva veće od rizika nakon izvještaja o rijetkim slučajevima poremećaja zgrušavanja krvi.
Norveška je objavila da će još pričekati.
