Europska komisija je potpisala ugovor s farmaceutskom tvrtkom Gilead o osiguranju terapijskih doza lijeka Veklury, zaštićenog naziva za remdesivir koji će biti dostupan od početka kolovoza, objavila je Komisija u srijedu.

"Posljednjih tjedana Komisija neumorno radi s Gileadom na postizanju sporazuma kako bi osigurala da se zalihe prvog lijeka odobrenog za liječenje covida-19 dostave Europskoj uniji. Jučer je potpisan ugovor, manje od mjesec dana nakon odobrenja lijeka Remdesivir, koji će omogućiti isporuku lijeka od početka kolovoza za tisuće bolesnika.

Komisija čini sve da osigura pristup sigurnom i učinkovitom liječenju te podupire razvoj cjepiva protiv koronavirusa. Jučerašnji sporazum još je jedan važan korak naprijed u našoj borbi za svladavanje ove bolesti", izjavila je povjerenica za zdravstvo Stella Kyriakides.

Potpisani ugovor vrijedan je 63 milijuna eura i time će se osigurati liječenje otprilike 30.000 bolesnika s teškim simptomima covida-19 i pokriti potrebe tijekom sljedećih nekoliko mjeseci. Predviđena je pravedna raspodjela na razini EU-a, temeljena na ključu raspodjele, uzimajući u obzir preporuke Europskog centra za sprečavanje i kontrolu bolesti.

Komisija sada priprema i zajedničku nabavu za daljnje isporuke lijeka, za koje se očekuje da će od listopada nadalje pokrivati dodatne potrebe i opskrbu, navodi Komisija.

Europska komisija je 3. srpnja donijela Provedbenu odluku o izdavanju uvjetnog odobrenja za stavljanje u promet lijeka Veklury, čija je djelatna tvar remdesivir. Veklury je bio prvi lijek odobren na razini EU-a za liječenje covida-19.

Njemačka ministrica znanosti Anja Karliczek najavila je u srijedu dodatna sredstva tvrtkama koje rade na pronalasku cjepiva protiv koronavirusa, ali je istodobno ublažila očekivanja da bi cjepivo moglo biti gotovo prije sredine sljedeće godine.

"Ne smijemo očekivati čuda i moramo polaziti od toga da će cjepivo za šire slojeve stanovništva biti spremno najranije sredinom sljedeće godine", rekla je ministrica znanosti i obrazovanja Anja Karliczek (Kršćansko-demokratska unija CDU) nakon sastanka njemačke vlade.

Na sjednici vlade je donesena i odluka o financijskom pomoći za tri tvrtke koje rade na pronalasku cjepiva za što je iz posebnog programa izdvojeno 750 milijuna eura.

Sredstva bi trebala biti podijeljena na tvrtke BioNTech iz Mainza, CureVac iz Tuebingena i IDT Biologika iz Dessaua koje je preporučio poseban gremij stručnjaka.

Zauzvrat njemačka vlada očekuje da će "primjereni dio proizvodnje cjepiva" biti stavljen na raspolaganje njemačkim zdravstvenim ustanovama.

"Svim njemačkim građanima koji žele biti cijepljeni će to biti i omogućeno", rekla je Karliczek. Ona je najavila da će od sljedećeg tjedna voditi "intenzivne razgovore" s tvrtkama kako bi bila definirana raspodjela sredstava.

Dodatna sredstva bi prije svega trebala biti iskorištena za povećanja proizvodnih kapaciteta i kapaciteta za provođenje kliničkih studija.

Jedna od tvrtki koje će biti subvencionirane, CureVac, u travnju je došla u središte pozornosti javnosti nakon što je otkriveno da je Washington pokušao financijskim sredstvima ovu tvrtku privući u SAD i time osigurati ekskluzivno pravo na korištenja cjepiva.

Europska komisija je potpisala ugovor s farmaceutskom tvrtkom Gilead o osiguranju terapijskih doza lijeka Veklury, zaštićenog naziva za remdesivir koji će biti dostupan od početka kolovoza, objavila je Komisija u srijedu.

"Posljednjih tjedana Komisija neumorno radi s Gileadom na postizanju sporazuma kako bi osigurala da se zalihe prvog lijeka odobrenog za liječenje covida-19 dostave Europskoj uniji. Jučer je potpisan ugovor, manje od mjesec dana nakon odobrenja lijeka Remdesivir, koji će omogućiti isporuku lijeka od početka kolovoza za tisuće bolesnika.

Komisija čini sve da osigura pristup sigurnom i učinkovitom liječenju te podupire razvoj cjepiva protiv koronavirusa. Jučerašnji sporazum još je jedan važan korak naprijed u našoj borbi za svladavanje ove bolesti", izjavila je povjerenica za zdravstvo Stella Kyriakides.

Potpisani ugovor vrijedan je 63 milijuna eura i time će se osigurati liječenje otprilike 30.000 bolesnika s teškim simptomima covida-19 i pokriti potrebe tijekom sljedećih nekoliko mjeseci. Predviđena je pravedna raspodjela na razini EU-a, temeljena na ključu raspodjele, uzimajući u obzir preporuke Europskog centra za sprečavanje i kontrolu bolesti.

Komisija sada priprema i zajedničku nabavu za daljnje isporuke lijeka, za koje se očekuje da će od listopada nadalje pokrivati dodatne potrebe i opskrbu, navodi Komisija.

Europska komisija je 3. srpnja donijela Provedbenu odluku o izdavanju uvjetnog odobrenja za stavljanje u promet lijeka Veklury, čija je djelatna tvar remdesivir. Veklury je bio prvi lijek odobren na razini EU-a za liječenje covida-19.

Njemačka ministrica znanosti Anja Karliczek najavila je u srijedu dodatna sredstva tvrtkama koje rade na pronalasku cjepiva protiv koronavirusa, ali je istodobno ublažila očekivanja da bi cjepivo moglo biti gotovo prije sredine sljedeće godine.

"Ne smijemo očekivati čuda i moramo polaziti od toga da će cjepivo za šire slojeve stanovništva biti spremno najranije sredinom sljedeće godine", rekla je ministrica znanosti i obrazovanja Anja Karliczek (Kršćansko-demokratska unija CDU) nakon sastanka njemačke vlade.

Na sjednici vlade je donesena i odluka o financijskom pomoći za tri tvrtke koje rade na pronalasku cjepiva za što je iz posebnog programa izdvojeno 750 milijuna eura.

Sredstva bi trebala biti podijeljena na tvrtke BioNTech iz Mainza, CureVac iz Tuebingena i IDT Biologika iz Dessaua koje je preporučio poseban gremij stručnjaka.

Zauzvrat njemačka vlada očekuje da će "primjereni dio proizvodnje cjepiva" biti stavljen na raspolaganje njemačkim zdravstvenim ustanovama.

"Svim njemačkim građanima koji žele biti cijepljeni će to biti i omogućeno", rekla je Karliczek. Ona je najavila da će od sljedećeg tjedna voditi "intenzivne razgovore" s tvrtkama kako bi bila definirana raspodjela sredstava.

Dodatna sredstva bi prije svega trebala biti iskorištena za povećanja proizvodnih kapaciteta i kapaciteta za provođenje kliničkih studija.

Jedna od tvrtki koje će biti subvencionirane, CureVac, u travnju je došla u središte pozornosti javnosti nakon što je otkriveno da je Washington pokušao financijskim sredstvima ovu tvrtku privući u SAD i time osigurati ekskluzivno pravo na korištenja cjepiva.

Europska komisija je potpisala ugovor s farmaceutskom tvrtkom Gilead o osiguranju terapijskih doza lijeka Veklury, zaštićenog naziva za remdesivir koji će biti dostupan od početka kolovoza, objavila je Komisija u srijedu.

"Posljednjih tjedana Komisija neumorno radi s Gileadom na postizanju sporazuma kako bi osigurala da se zalihe prvog lijeka odobrenog za liječenje covida-19 dostave Europskoj uniji. Jučer je potpisan ugovor, manje od mjesec dana nakon odobrenja lijeka Remdesivir, koji će omogućiti isporuku lijeka od početka kolovoza za tisuće bolesnika.

Komisija čini sve da osigura pristup sigurnom i učinkovitom liječenju te podupire razvoj cjepiva protiv koronavirusa. Jučerašnji sporazum još je jedan važan korak naprijed u našoj borbi za svladavanje ove bolesti",...
