Već drugi tjedan zaredom traju konzultacije predstavnika zemalja članica Europske unije o šestom paketu sankcija protiv Rusije, koje sadrže i embargo na uvoz nafte, a konsenzusa i dalje nema. Iako je nekoliko država zahtijevalo neka specifična izuzeća ili dulja prijelazna razdoblja, na kraju je Mađarska bila najuporniji protivnik tog paketa.

Nisu plodom urodili ni razgovori koje je s mađarskim premijerom Viktorom Orbánom imala predsjednica Europske komisije Ursula von der Leyen, a nije još održan ni najavljeni videosastanak nekolicine lidera EU, među kojima je i hrvatski premijer Andrej Plenković, piše Jutarnji list.

Mađarska je, prema diplomatskim izvorima, izrazila spremnost prihvatiti samo opciju prema kojoj bi se embargo odnosio na uvoz nafte tankerima morskim putem, a iz embarga bi se izuzela nafta koja se isporučuje naftovodima. Da bi se ipak koliko-toliko spasio ovaj paket, pojavila se opcija prema kojoj bi se iz paketa izdvojio dio koji se odnosi na naftni embargo, a usvojio ostatak.

Portal Politico prenio je riječi jednog diplomata EU koji je potvrdio da ta ideja postoji s obzirom na to da postoji suglasnost o 90 posto paketa, osim onog dijela za naftni embargo.

- Frustrirajuće je da ne možemo ići naprijed s pitanjima o kojima postoji suglasnost. Dakle, zašto ne bismo to napravili pragmatično te nastavili pregovarati o energentima - rekao je taj izvor. Ali ta bi opcija poslala pogrešnu poruku Putinu i izazvala iritaciju država koje su već dale suglasnost za cijeli paket.

Tako su se zemlje EU našle u situaciji da nisu više sigurne je li bolje usvojiti 90 posto sankcija iz predloženog paketa ili ništa dok se ne postigne suglasnost o cijelom paketu. Ovo pitanje postaje sada važno i za vjerodostojnost Europske unije jer su danima govorili kako bi upravo embargo na naftu zadao snažan udarac Rusiji i smanjio prihode kojima ona može financirati ratnu mašineriju koja nastavlja agresiju na Ukrajinu.

Novi sastanak o ovoj temi trebao se održati u petak, a izvori iz EU ne isključuju da će stalni predstavnici zemalja članica i tijekom vikenda imali nekoliko sastanaka kako bi postigli kompromis.

Europska unija i dalje traži rješenja prema kojima bi sankcije bile maksimalno štetne po Rusiju, ali bi, s druge strane, posljedice za EU bile minimalne. Da to nije lako, vidi se i po ovom novom, šestom predloženom paketu sankcija. Bez obzira na napore najviših diplomata zemalja EU u Bruxellesu, očito je da se rješenje može postići samo na najvišoj razini. Ako dogovor ne bude postignut, tada bi ova tema mogla postati glavna za summit Europske unije koji se krajem mjeseca održava u Bruxellesu.

Dok se nastavljaju napori za dogovor o naftnom embargu, skupina zastupnika Europskog parlamenta predložila je da se sankcije uvode i građanima EU, uključujući i bivše političke lidere, koji rade u ruskom interesu. Ima ih mnogo, a najpoznatiji među njima je bivši njemački kancelar Gerhard Schröder, koji dosad nije podnio ostavku na mjesta u ruskim državnim kompanijama, piše Jutarnji list.

Već drugi tjedan zaredom traju konzultacije predstavnika zemalja članica Europske unije o šestom paketu sankcija protiv Rusije, koje sadrže i embargo na uvoz nafte, a konsenzusa i dalje nema. Iako je nekoliko država zahtijevalo neka specifična izuzeća ili dulja prijelazna razdoblja, na kraju je Mađarska bila najuporniji protivnik tog paketa.

Nisu plodom urodili ni razgovori koje je s mađarskim premijerom Viktorom Orbánom imala predsjednica Europske komisije Ursula von der Leyen, a nije još održan ni najavljeni videosastanak nekolicine lidera EU, među kojima je i hrvatski premijer Andrej Plenković, piše Jutarnji list.

Mađarska je, prema diplomatskim izvorima, izrazila spremnost prihvatiti samo opciju prema kojoj bi se embargo odnosio na uvoz nafte tankerima morskim putem, a iz embarga bi se izuzela nafta koja se isporučuje naftovodima. Da bi se ipak koliko-toliko spasio ovaj paket, pojavila se opcija prema kojoj bi se iz paketa izdvojio dio koji se odnosi na naftni embargo, a usvojio ostatak.

Portal Politico prenio je riječi jednog diplomata EU koji je potvrdio da ta ideja postoji s obzirom na to da postoji suglasnost o 90 posto paketa, osim onog dijela za naftni embargo.

- Frustrirajuće je da ne možemo ići naprijed s pitanjima o kojima postoji suglasnost. Dakle, zašto ne bismo to napravili pragmatično te nastavili pregovarati o energentima - rekao je taj izvor. Ali ta bi opcija poslala pogrešnu poruku Putinu i izazvala iritaciju država koje su već dale suglasnost za cijeli paket.

Tako su se zemlje EU našle u situaciji da nisu više sigurne je li bolje usvojiti 90 posto sankcija iz predloženog paketa ili ništa dok se ne postigne suglasnost o cijelom paketu. Ovo pitanje postaje sada važno i za vjerodostojnost Europske unije jer su danima govorili kako bi upravo embargo na naftu zadao snažan udarac Rusiji i smanjio prihode kojima ona može financirati ratnu mašineriju koja nastavlja agresiju na Ukrajinu.

Novi sastanak o ovoj temi trebao se održati u petak, a izvori iz EU ne isključuju da će stalni predstavnici zemalja članica i tijekom vikenda imali nekoliko sastanaka kako bi postigli kompromis.

Europska unija i dalje traži rješenja prema kojima bi sankcije bile maksimalno štetne po Rusiju, ali bi, s druge strane, posljedice za EU bile minimalne. Da to nije lako, vidi se i po ovom novom, šestom predloženom paketu sankcija. Bez obzira na napore najviših diplomata zemalja EU u Bruxellesu, očito je da se rješenje može postići samo na najvišoj razini. Ako dogovor ne bude postignut, tada bi ova tema mogla postati glavna za summit Europske unije koji se krajem mjeseca održava u Bruxellesu.

Dok se nastavljaju napori za dogovor o naftnom embargu, skupina zastupnika Europskog parlamenta predložila je da se sankcije uvode i građanima EU, uključujući i bivše političke lidere, koji rade u ruskom interesu. Ima ih mnogo, a najpoznatiji među njima je bivši njemački kancelar Gerhard Schröder, koji dosad nije podnio ostavku na mjesta u ruskim državnim kompanijama, piše Jutarnji list.

Već drugi tjedan zaredom traju konzultacije predstavnika zemalja članica Europske unije o šestom paketu sankcija protiv Rusije, koje sadrže i embargo na uvoz nafte, a konsenzusa i dalje nema. Iako je nekoliko država zahtijevalo neka specifična izuzeća ili dulja prijelazna razdoblja, na kraju je Mađarska bila najuporniji protivnik tog paketa.

Nisu plodom urodili ni razgovori koje je s mađarskim premijerom Viktorom Orbánom imala predsjednica Europske komisije Ursula von der Leyen, a nije još održan ni najavljeni videosastanak nekolicine lidera EU, među kojima je i hrvatski premijer Andrej Plenković, piše Jutarnji list.

Mađarska je, prema diplomatskim izvorima, izrazila spremnost prihvatiti samo opciju prema kojoj bi se embargo odnosio na uvoz nafte tankerima morskim...
