Sveti grad Inka Machu Picchu ponovo je u nedjelju otvoren za turiste nakon gotovo osmomjesečnog zatvaranja zbog covida-19.

Iz zdravstvenih razloga, međutim, moći će ga dnevno posjetiti samo 675 turista, što je 30 posto dnevnog broja posjetitelja prije pandemije.

Pod kišom i raznobojnim svjetlima, u nedjelju navečer proslavljen je ritual Inka kako bi se zahvalilo bogovima na ponovnom otvaranju grada koji je Unesco 1983. godine proglasio svjetskom baštinom.

Ponovno otvaranje Machu Picchua pokazuje "da su Peruanci otporni", rekao je AFP-u ministar vanjske trgovine i turizma Rocio Barrios.

Turisti moraju održavati fizički razmak, iako u Peruu opada broj slučajeva koronavirusa.

Ponovno otvaranje željno se iščekivalo u Cuscu, glavnom gradu istoimene regije u Peruu smještenom u Andama na 3.416 metara nadmorske visine. Taj grad, koji je dugo bio prijestolnicom carstva Inka, polazna je točka za posjet Machu Picchu-u i u kojemu je pad broja turista za 70 posto izazvao pustoš, kao i u cijeloj regiji.

Sveti grad Inka Machu Picchu ponovo je u nedjelju otvoren za turiste nakon gotovo osmomjesečnog zatvaranja zbog covida-19.

Iz zdravstvenih razloga, međutim, moći će ga dnevno posjetiti samo 675 turista, što je 30 posto dnevnog broja posjetitelja prije pandemije.

Pod kišom i raznobojnim svjetlima, u nedjelju navečer proslavljen je ritual Inka kako bi se zahvalilo bogovima na ponovnom otvaranju grada koji je Unesco 1983. godine proglasio svjetskom baštinom.

Ponovno otvaranje Machu Picchua pokazuje "da su Peruanci otporni", rekao je AFP-u ministar vanjske trgovine i turizma Rocio Barrios.

Turisti moraju održavati fizički razmak, iako u Peruu opada broj slučajeva koronavirusa.

Ponovno otvaranje željno se iščekivalo u Cuscu, glavnom gradu istoimene regije u Peruu smještenom u Andama na 3.416 metara nadmorske visine. Taj grad, koji je dugo bio prijestolnicom carstva Inka, polazna je točka za posjet Machu Picchu-u i u kojemu je pad broja turista za 70 posto izazvao pustoš, kao i u cijeloj regiji.

Nakon osmomjesečne stanke zbog pandemije, Machu Picchu opet otvoren za turiste, ali uz ograničen broj dnevnih posjeta

Sveti grad Inka Machu Picchu ponovo je u nedjelju otvoren za turiste nakon gotovo osmomjesečnog zatvaranja zbog covida-19.

Iz zdravstvenih razloga, međutim, moći će ga dnevno posjetiti samo 675 turista, što je 30 posto dnevnog broja posjetitelja prije pandemije.

Pod kišom i raznobojnim svjetlima, u nedjelju navečer proslavljen je ritual Inka kako bi se zahvalilo bogovima na ponovnom otvaranju grada koji je Unesco 1983. godine proglasio svjetskom baštinom.

Ponovno otvaranje Machu Picchua pokazuje "da su Peruanci otporni", rekao je AFP-u ministar vanjske trgovine i turizma Rocio Barrios.

Turisti moraju održavati fizički razmak, iako u Peruu opada broj slučajeva koronavirusa.
