Indijski ministar vanjskih poslova Subrahmanyam Jaishankar objavio je da Indija šalje tisuće vojnika na granicu s Kinom. Planinski teren uz 3400 kilometara dugu i spornu granicu dvaju svjetskih giganata, naoružanih nuklearnim bombama, poprište je povremenih sukoba, od kojih se posljednji dogodio prije dva tjedna. Tenzije nisu popustile, kao što potvrđuje indijska najava.

Oko spornog područja dvije sile već godinama grade infrastrukturu kako bi ojačale i utvrdile svoje pozicije te poboljšale šanse dođe li do sukoba. Analitičari ističu kako bi se vojni sukob između Kine i Indije vrlo vjerojatno prelio na regiju, ako ne i šire, piše Jutarnji list.

Smatra se da je upravo indijska gradnja cesta u blizini granice zapalila situaciju prije dvije godine kada je Kina odlučila prijeći dugogodišnju granicu i okupirati položaje u regiji Ladak. Kineski potez izazvao je vojni sukob u kojem su se vojnici s obje strane gađali kamenjem i udarali palicama obloženima bodljikavom žicom. U čudnovatoj bitki na "krovu svijeta" poginulo je 20 indijskih vojnika i najmanje četiri kineska. Izbor oružja bio je takav jer dvije zemlje imaju sporazum o nekorištenju vatrenog oružja kako bi se smanjila mogućnost slučajne eskalacije situacije. "Nikada prije nismo ovako slali vojnike. Ali, jačanje naših snaga potrebno je jer Kina to radi od 2020. godine", izjavio je Jaishankar.

Posljednji sraz između Kine i Indije dogodio se 9. prosinca kada je 400 kineskih vojnika ušlo u gradić Tawang u saveznoj državi Arunachal Pradesh na sjeveroistoku Indije. Kina to područje smatra dijelom Tibeta i vlastitog teritorija. Indijska vojska objavila je da je odbila taj upad nakon kojeg je bilo ozlijeđenih vojnika. No, situacija se nije stabilizirala. Kinezi su pomaknuli tenkove i topništvo prema granici, a indijske zračne snage objavile su povećanu "kinesku zračnu aktivnost u regiji". Zbog toga su ovaj mjesec dva puta digli borbene avione.

Razgovori sukobljenih strana stalno su "u tijeku", ali nisu doveli do smirenja tenzija. Indijska opozicija napada premijera Narendru Modija da je previše mekan prema Kini te da bi događaje na granici trebao shvatiti ozbiljnije. "Očito se Kina priprema za rat. Prijetnja je očita i ozbiljna", poručila je opozicija.

Rat između Kine i Indije na Himalaji zbog graničnog područja izbio je 1962. godine. O problemu su 2017. izravno razgovarali Xi Jinping i Narendra Modi, ali otad je indijska vojska upozorila da se Kina ne drži dogovora, pogotovo nakon 2020. godine. Osim vojnih turbulencija, dva susjeda već dulje vrijeme pripremaju teren u slučaju sraza. Satelitske snimke pokazuju da se s kineske strane grade mostovi, barake i zračne baze, unutar 200 kilometara od linije razgraničenja. Lokalni mediji izvijestili su da su u regiji raspoređeni kineski borbeni avioni i dronovi dugog dometa, piše Jutarnji list.

Kinezi su sagradili i superbrzi vlak od tibetanske prijestolnice Lhase do Nyingchija koji se nalazi manje od 15 kilometara od granice s Arunachal Pradeshom. Ni Indija nije besposleno promatrala što radi njezin susjed. Povećala je cestovnu mrežu sa svoje strane granice kako bi ubrzala transport dodatnih vojnika u slučaju potrebe, a planira i novu 1500 kilometara dugu cestu blizu sporne granice.

Indijski ministar vanjskih poslova Subrahmanyam Jaishankar objavio je da Indija šalje tisuće vojnika na granicu s Kinom. Planinski teren uz 3400 kilometara dugu i spornu granicu dvaju svjetskih giganata, naoružanih nuklearnim bombama, poprište je povremenih sukoba, od kojih se posljednji dogodio prije dva tjedna. Tenzije nisu popustile, kao što potvrđuje indijska najava.

Oko spornog područja dvije sile već godinama grade infrastrukturu kako bi ojačale i utvrdile svoje pozicije te poboljšale šanse dođe li do sukoba. Analitičari ističu kako bi se vojni sukob između Kine i Indije vrlo vjerojatno prelio na regiju, ako ne i šire, piše Jutarnji list.

Smatra se da je upravo indijska gradnja cesta u blizini granice zapalila situaciju prije dvije godine kada je Kina odlučila prijeći dugogodišnju granicu i okupirati položaje u regiji Ladak. Kineski potez izazvao je vojni sukob u kojem su se vojnici s obje strane gađali kamenjem i udarali palicama obloženima bodljikavom žicom. U čudnovatoj bitki na "krovu svijeta" poginulo je 20 indijskih vojnika i najmanje četiri kineska. Izbor oružja bio je takav jer dvije zemlje imaju sporazum o nekorištenju vatrenog oružja kako bi se smanjila mogućnost slučajne eskalacije situacije. "Nikada prije nismo ovako slali vojnike. Ali, jačanje naših snaga potrebno je jer Kina to radi od 2020. godine", izjavio je Jaishankar.

Posljednji sraz između Kine i Indije dogodio se 9. prosinca kada je 400 kineskih vojnika ušlo u gradić Tawang u saveznoj državi Arunachal Pradesh na sjeveroistoku Indije. Kina to područje smatra dijelom Tibeta i vlastitog teritorija. Indijska vojska objavila je da je odbila taj upad nakon kojeg je bilo ozlijeđenih vojnika. No, situacija se nije stabilizirala. Kinezi su pomaknuli tenkove i topništvo prema granici, a indijske zračne snage objavile su povećanu "kinesku zračnu aktivnost u regiji". Zbog toga su ovaj mjesec dva puta digli borbene avione.

Razgovori sukobljenih strana stalno su "u tijeku", ali nisu doveli do smirenja tenzija. Indijska opozicija napada premijera Narendru Modija da je previše mekan prema Kini te da bi događaje na granici trebao shvatiti ozbiljnije. "Očito se Kina priprema za rat. Prijetnja je očita i ozbiljna", poručila je opozicija.

Rat između Kine i Indije na Himalaji zbog graničnog područja izbio je 1962. godine. O problemu su 2017. izravno razgovarali Xi Jinping i Narendra Modi, ali otad je indijska vojska upozorila da se Kina ne drži dogovora, pogotovo nakon 2020. godine. Osim vojnih turbulencija, dva susjeda već dulje vrijeme pripremaju teren u slučaju sraza. Satelitske snimke pokazuju da se s kineske strane grade mostovi, barake i zračne baze, unutar 200 kilometara od linije razgraničenja. Lokalni mediji izvijestili su da su u regiji raspoređeni kineski borbeni avioni i dronovi dugog dometa, piše Jutarnji list.

Kinezi su sagradili i superbrzi vlak od tibetanske prijestolnice Lhase do Nyingchija koji se nalazi manje od 15 kilometara od granice s Arunachal Pradeshom. Ni Indija nije besposleno promatrala što radi njezin susjed. Povećala je cestovnu mrežu sa svoje strane granice kako bi ubrzala transport dodatnih vojnika u slučaju potrebe, a planira i novu 1500 kilometara dugu cestu blizu sporne granice.

Indijski ministar vanjskih poslova Subrahmanyam Jaishankar objavio je da Indija šalje tisuće vojnika na granicu s Kinom. Planinski teren uz 3400 kilometara dugu i spornu granicu dvaju svjetskih giganata, naoružanih nuklearnim bombama, poprište je povremenih sukoba, od kojih se posljednji dogodio prije dva tjedna. Tenzije nisu popustile, kao što potvrđuje indijska najava.

Oko spornog područja dvije sile već godinama grade infrastrukturu kako bi ojačale i utvrdile svoje pozicije te poboljšale šanse dođe li do sukoba. Analitičari ističu kako bi se vojni sukob između Kine i Indije vrlo vjerojatno prelio na regiju, ako ne i šire, piše Jutarnji list.

Smatra se da je upravo indijska gradnja cesta u blizini granice zapalila situaciju prije dvije godine kada je Kina odlučila...
