Požar koji je zahvatio prenapučeni zatvor u indonezijskoj pokrajini Banten usmrtio je najmanje 40 osoba, a deseci ljudi su ozlijeđeni, prenosi Reuters. 

Požar koji je buknuo između 1 i 2 sata u noći u Bloku C zatvora u Tangerangu ugašen je, no još uvijek je u tijeku evakuacija, kazala je glasnogovornica iz ministarstva ljudskih prava i zakona Rika Aprianti. 

“Uzrok požara još se istražuje”, navela je dodavši da su u bloku u kojem je izbio požar kaznu služili prijestupnici koji su zatvoreni zbog droge, a imao je kapacitet od 122 osobe.

Nije potvrdila koliko je osoba bilo prisutno kada je požar buknuo, ali je kazala da je zatvor prenapučen.  Zatvor u Tangerangu ima kapacitet za 600 osoba, a prema podacima indonezijske vlade, u rujnu je imao dvije tisuće zatvorenika, što je daleko više od njegovog kapaciteta.

“Početna sumnja jest da je uzrok požara kratki spoj”, kazao je glasnogovornik policije Yusri Yunus tamošnjoj televizijskoj postaji.

Požar koji je zahvatio prenapučeni zatvor u indonezijskoj pokrajini Banten usmrtio je najmanje 40 osoba, a deseci ljudi su ozlijeđeni, prenosi Reuters. 

Požar koji je buknuo između 1 i 2 sata u noći u Bloku C zatvora u Tangerangu ugašen je, no još uvijek je u tijeku evakuacija, kazala je glasnogovornica iz ministarstva ljudskih prava i zakona Rika Aprianti. 

“Uzrok požara još se istražuje”, navela je dodavši da su u bloku u kojem je izbio požar kaznu služili prijestupnici koji su zatvoreni zbog droge, a imao je kapacitet od 122 osobe.

Nije potvrdila koliko je osoba bilo prisutno kada je požar buknuo, ali je kazala da je zatvor prenapučen.  Zatvor u Tangerangu ima kapacitet za 600 osoba, a prema podacima indonezijske vlade, u rujnu je imao dvije tisuće zatvorenika, što je daleko više od njegovog kapaciteta.

“Početna sumnja jest da je uzrok požara kratki spoj”, kazao je glasnogovornik policije Yusri Yunus tamošnjoj televizijskoj postaji.

Najmanje 40 osoba poginulo u požaru u indonezijskom zatvoru, deseci su ozlijeđeni

Požar koji je zahvatio prenapučeni zatvor u indonezijskoj pokrajini Banten usmrtio je najmanje 40 osoba, a deseci ljudi su ozlijeđeni, prenosi Reuters. 

Požar koji je buknuo između 1 i 2 sata u noći u Bloku C zatvora u Tangerangu ugašen je, no još uvijek je u tijeku evakuacija, kazala je glasnogovornica iz ministarstva ljudskih prava i zakona Rika Aprianti. 

“Uzrok požara još se istražuje”, navela je dodavši da su u bloku u kojem je izbio požar kaznu služili prijestupnici koji su zatvoreni zbog droge, a imao je kapacitet od 122 osobe.

Nije potvrdila koliko je osoba bilo prisutno kada je požar buknuo, ali je kazala da je zatvor prenapučen.  Zatvor u Tangerangu ima kapacitet za 600 osoba, a prema podacima indonezijske vlade, u rujnu je imao dvije tisuće...
