Vijeće sigurnosti Ujedinjenih naroda odbacilo je u četvrtak rusku rezoluciju kojim se podržava imenovanje njemačkog diplomata za međunarodnog visokog predstavnika za Bosnu, ali uz zatvaranje njegova ureda 31. srpnja 2022., što odbacuju Zapadnjaci.  

Prijedlog rezolucije je dobio samo dva glasa, Moskve i Pekinga, a svi ostali članovi Vijeća su bili suzdržani. 

Bilo je potrebno devet od 15 glasova da bi se tekst usvojio, uz uvijet da nijedna od pet stalnih članica (Sjedinjene Države, Francuska, Velika Britanija, Rusija, Kina) ne uloži veto. 

Odbacivanje rezolucije je bilo očekivano. Prije glasanja su zapadni diplomati optužili Moskvu da želi nevjerodostojnim učiniti ured visokog predstavnika i bivšeg njemačkog ministra poljoprivredne Christiana Schmidta, koji 1. kolovoza preuzima tu dužnost. 

Njega je 27. svibnja odabralo Vijeće za provedbu Daytonskog sporazuma iz 1995. koje čini 55 zemalja. 

Rusija koja godinama pokušava zatvoriti ured visokog međunarodnog predstavnika, optužujući ga za pristranost na štetu bosanskih Srba, navela je u lipnju da "odlučno odbija" imenovanje Christiana Schmidta za nasljednika Austrijanca Valentina Inzka, koji odlazi nakon 12 godina na toj funkciji.

Vijeće sigurnosti Ujedinjenih naroda odbacilo je u četvrtak rusku rezoluciju kojim se podržava imenovanje njemačkog diplomata za međunarodnog visokog predstavnika za Bosnu, ali uz zatvaranje njegova ureda 31. srpnja 2022., što odbacuju Zapadnjaci.  

Prijedlog rezolucije je dobio samo dva glasa, Moskve i Pekinga, a svi ostali članovi Vijeća su bili suzdržani. 

Bilo je potrebno devet od 15 glasova da bi se tekst usvojio, uz uvijet da nijedna od pet stalnih članica (Sjedinjene Države, Francuska, Velika Britanija, Rusija, Kina) ne uloži veto. 

Odbacivanje rezolucije je bilo očekivano. Prije glasanja su zapadni diplomati optužili Moskvu da želi nevjerodostojnim učiniti ured visokog predstavnika i bivšeg njemačkog ministra poljoprivredne Christiana Schmidta, koji 1. kolovoza preuzima tu dužnost. 

Njega je 27. svibnja odabralo Vijeće za provedbu Daytonskog sporazuma iz 1995. koje čini 55 zemalja. 

Rusija koja godinama pokušava zatvoriti ured visokog međunarodnog predstavnika, optužujući ga za pristranost na štetu bosanskih Srba, navela je u lipnju da "odlučno odbija" imenovanje Christiana Schmidta za nasljednika Austrijanca Valentina Inzka, koji odlazi nakon 12 godina na toj funkciji.

Vijeće sigurnosti Ujedinjenih naroda odbacilo je u četvrtak rusku rezoluciju kojim se podržava imenovanje njemačkog diplomata za međunarodnog visokog predstavnika za Bosnu, ali uz zatvaranje njegova ureda 31. srpnja 2022., što odbacuju Zapadnjaci.  

Prijedlog rezolucije je dobio samo dva glasa, Moskve i Pekinga, a svi ostali članovi Vijeća su bili suzdržani. 

Bilo je potrebno devet od 15 glasova da bi se tekst usvojio, uz uvijet da nijedna od pet stalnih članica (Sjedinjene Države, Francuska, Velika Britanija, Rusija, Kina) ne uloži veto. 

Odbacivanje rezolucije je bilo očekivano. Prije glasanja su zapadni diplomati optužili Moskvu da želi nevjerodostojnim učiniti ured visokog predstavnika i bivšeg njemačkog ministra poljoprivredne Christiana Schmidta, koji...
