Dok tri tjedna uoči izbora Donald Trump bilježi sve manju anketnu podršku, predstavnici pokreta 'Srbi za Trumpa' u Marylandu i Wisconsinu sve žešće agitiraju za još jedan mandat svog predsjednika, ali i za republikanske kandidate za Kongres koji se također biraju 3. studenoga.  

Pokretačice inicijative 'Srbi za Trumpa' dvije su ugledne američke Srpkinje – dr. Olga Ravasi i Pamela Collins. Kao predstavnice dvije generacije srpskih emigranata, prije par su mjeseci odlučile po prvi put u povijesti organizirati podršku srpske zajednice jednom predsjedničkom kandidatu i pomoći mu priskrbiti glasove više od milijun američkih Srba.

Organizacija 'Srbi za Trumpa' postala je nedavno i službeni dio Trumpova izbornog stožera u okviru Nacionalne Koalicije, gdje su od europskih etničkih grupa zastupljeni još i američki Poljaci, Ukrajinci, Grci, Irci, ali i - Albanci.

- Znamo da je preko 90 posto naših ljudi svakako uz njega - pojasnila je svoju agitaciju za Trumpa u američkoj srpskoj zajednici dr. Olga Ravasi, profesorica političkih znanosti na sveučilištu Oakton u Chicagu.

Ona napominje da su Srbi u SAD-u oduvijek listom bili za republikance, samo da im nikad dosad nisu dali organiziranu podršku u kampanji.

- Važnije je nego ikad prije da ponovno izaberemo svojega, vjerojatno najboljega predsjednika u povijesti Amerike - poručila je, jer se nacija sve ozbiljnije suočava s egzistencijalnom krizom.

Kao ništa manje važne razloge za ponovni izbor Trumpa, dr. Olga Ravasi u intervjuu za list Serbian Times podsjeća i kako je on sa svojom administracijom hrabro otklonio crvene linije koje se nisu mogle dirati kad je u pitanju Kosovo, jer je to za Europu i svjetsku politiku donedavno bila završena priča.

Svim onim američkim Srbima koji su usprkos svemu bliski odluci da na izborima zaokruže Joea Bidena, ona preporučuje da prije pogledaju arhivske snimke CNN-a iz devedesetih na kojima Joe Biden o Srbima govori kao o 'nepismenoj rulji', 'silovateljima', 'ubojicama djece', 'koljačima' i 'agresorima'.  

Tajna Trumpove velike popularnosti među Srbima možda se krije i u analizi urednika magazina Washington Monthly Paula Glastrisa koji je aktualnog predsjednika SAD-a još prije četiri godine nazvao 'američkim Slobodanom Miloševićem'.

Kao ratni reporter, Glastris je devedesetih boravio na Balkanu te je iz osobnog iskustva povlačio paralele između činjenica da je Trump, baš kao Milošević 1987., na vlast došao raspirujući etnonacionalističke osjećaje i prkoseći dotadašnjoj političkoj korektnosti.

Srbi su rutinski negirali zločinačke učinke njegove ratne politike čak i dok su gledali tv-snimke masovnih grobnica, baš kao što Trumpovi simpatizeri danas zatvaraju oči pred više od 220 tisuća mrtvih od koronavirusa i pred rasapom ekonomije u zemlji zbog neadekvatnog odgovora na pandemiju.

I Srbima su pod Miloševićem za sve bili krivi manjinski narodi u tadašnjoj Jugoslaviji, baš kao što su i Trumpu dežurni krivci siromašni građani i manjine... Ljubav prema bahatim silnicima očito lako ne kopni, čak ni nakon što se oni (biološki) ugase.

Dok tri tjedna uoči izbora Donald Trump bilježi sve manju anketnu podršku, predstavnici pokreta 'Srbi za Trumpa' u Marylandu i Wisconsinu sve žešće agitiraju za još jedan mandat svog predsjednika, ali i za republikanske kandidate za Kongres koji se također biraju 3. studenoga.  

Pokretačice inicijative 'Srbi za Trumpa' dvije su ugledne američke Srpkinje – dr. Olga Ravasi i Pamela Collins. Kao predstavnice dvije generacije srpskih emigranata, prije par su mjeseci odlučile po prvi put u povijesti organizirati podršku srpske zajednice jednom predsjedničkom kandidatu i pomoći mu priskrbiti glasove više od milijun američkih Srba.

Organizacija 'Srbi za Trumpa' postala je nedavno i službeni dio Trumpova izbornog stožera u okviru Nacionalne Koalicije, gdje su od europskih etničkih grupa zastupljeni još i američki Poljaci, Ukrajinci, Grci, Irci, ali i - Albanci.

- Znamo da je preko 90 posto naših ljudi svakako uz njega - pojasnila je svoju agitaciju za Trumpa u američkoj srpskoj zajednici dr. Olga Ravasi, profesorica političkih znanosti na sveučilištu Oakton u Chicagu.

Ona napominje da su Srbi u SAD-u oduvijek listom bili za republikance, samo da im nikad dosad nisu dali organiziranu podršku u kampanji.

- Važnije je nego ikad prije da ponovno izaberemo svojega, vjerojatno najboljega predsjednika u povijesti Amerike - poručila je, jer se nacija sve ozbiljnije suočava s egzistencijalnom krizom.

Kao ništa manje važne razloge za ponovni izbor Trumpa, dr. Olga Ravasi u intervjuu za list Serbian Times podsjeća i kako je on sa svojom administracijom hrabro otklonio crvene linije koje se nisu mogle dirati kad je u pitanju Kosovo, jer je to za Europu i svjetsku politiku donedavno bila završena priča.

Svim onim američkim Srbima koji su usprkos svemu bliski odluci da na izborima zaokruže Joea Bidena, ona preporučuje da prije pogledaju arhivske snimke CNN-a iz devedesetih na kojima Joe Biden o Srbima govori kao o 'nepismenoj rulji', 'silovateljima', 'ubojicama djece', 'koljačima' i 'agresorima'.  

Tajna Trumpove velike popularnosti među Srbima možda se krije i u analizi urednika magazina Washington Monthly Paula Glastrisa koji je aktualnog predsjednika SAD-a još prije četiri godine nazvao 'američkim Slobodanom Miloševićem'.

Kao ratni reporter, Glastris je devedesetih boravio na Balkanu te je iz osobnog iskustva povlačio paralele između činjenica da je Trump, baš kao Milošević 1987., na vlast došao raspirujući etnonacionalističke osjećaje i prkoseći dotadašnjoj političkoj korektnosti.

Srbi su rutinski negirali zločinačke učinke njegove ratne politike čak i dok su gledali tv-snimke masovnih grobnica, baš kao što Trumpovi simpatizeri danas zatvaraju oči pred više od 220 tisuća mrtvih od koronavirusa i pred rasapom ekonomije u zemlji zbog neadekvatnog odgovora na pandemiju.

I Srbima su pod Miloševićem za sve bili krivi manjinski narodi u tadašnjoj Jugoslaviji, baš kao što su i Trumpu dežurni krivci siromašni građani i manjine... Ljubav prema bahatim silnicima očito lako ne kopni, čak ni nakon što se oni (biološki) ugase.

Inicijativa ‘Srbi za Trumpa‘ sve žešće agitira za ‘svojega‘ predsjednika, američke Srbe upozoravaju: Biden nas je nazivao silovateljima i koljačima

Dok tri tjedna uoči izbora Donald Trump bilježi sve manju anketnu podršku, predstavnici pokreta 'Srbi za Trumpa' u Marylandu i Wisconsinu sve žešće agitiraju za još jedan mandat svog predsjednika, ali i za republikanske kandidate za Kongres koji se također biraju 3. studenoga.  

Pokretačice inicijative 'Srbi za Trumpa' dvije su ugledne američke Srpkinje – dr. Olga Ravasi i Pamela Collins. Kao predstavnice dvije generacije srpskih emigranata, prije par su mjeseci odlučile po prvi put u povijesti organizirati podršku srpske zajednice jednom predsjedničkom kandidatu i pomoći mu priskrbiti glasove više od milijun američkih Srba.

Organizacija 'Srbi za Trumpa' postala je nedavno i službeni dio Trumpova izbornog stožera u okviru Nacionalne Koalicije, gdje su od europskih...
