Zapadni čelnici će na dva predstojeća ključna samita, G7 i NATO-a, nastojati što više zbiti redove u odnosu prema Moskvi jer bi rat u Ukrajini, kojem se ne vidi kraja, mogao dovesti u pitanje njihovo jedinstvo.

Čelnici velikih sila, među kojima je i američki predsjednik Joe Biden, od nedjelje se sastaju u bavarskim Alpama na godišnjem okupljanju sedam indistrijski najrazvijenijih zemalja svijeta (G7).

Skupinu čine SAD, Kanada, Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo, Japan, Francuska, Italija i Njemačka.

Nastavak potpore Ukrajini, četiri mjeseca nakon početka ruske ofenzive, bit će u samom središtu tog sastanka, ali i dvodnevnog samita NATO-a koji počinje 28.  lipnja u Madridu.

Kancelar Olaf Scholz, domaćin samita G7, ovaj tjedan je podsjetio da će potpora Ukrajini zahtijevati "ustrajnost".

"Istina je da smo još daleko od pregovora između Ukrajine i Rusije jer Putin i dalje vjeruje u mogućnost diktiranog mira", rekao je Scholz, dodajući da je stoga još važnije "čvrsto ostati na zacrtanom smjeru, s našim sankcijama, financijskom potporom Ukrajini i koordiniranim isporukama oružja". 

Glavni tajnik NATO-a Jens Stoltenberg upozorio je da bi rat u Ukrajini mogao trajati "godinama".

Stefan Meister iz njemačkog istraživačkog instituta DGAP tvrdi da je ruska agresija primorala članice G7 da shvate da su potrebne jedna drugoj jer će inflacija ili prijetnje izbijanja energetske i prehrambene krize, kao posljedice rata, dodatno staviti na kušnju otpor međunarodne zajednice.

Očekuje se da će čelnici također razgovarati i o "Marshallovom planu" obnove Ukrajine koji će koštati "milijarde" i obuhvatiti "više generacija". 

Predsjednik Ukrajine Volodimir Zelenskij će se čelnicima G7 obratiti video vezom i zatražiti još oružja, a to će učiniti i na samitu NATO-a.

NATO će na samitu posebice predstaviti planove zaštite svog istočnog krila, u neposrednoj blizini Rusije.

To pojačanje pratit će novi strateški koncept koji podrazumijeva tvrđe stajalište prema Rusiji i koji po prvi puta spominje izazove koje predstavlja Kina.

Najava Ankare da će blokirati pristup Švedske i Finske u NATO baca sjenu na očekivani prikaz jedinstva među saveznicima, piše AFP.

Agencija također podsjeća da Berlin optužuje Moskvu za smanjenje isporuka plina kako bi izazvala energetsku krizu u Europi prije zime te ističe da je u tom kontekstu važno spomenuti da na G7 sudjeluju i Indonezija, Indija, Senegal, JAR i Argentina.

Thorsten Brenner, generalni direktor instituta Global Public Policy, kazao je da je "ključni zadatak uvjeriti brojne nezapadne zemlje, koje su skeptične prema sankcijama, da Zapad uzima u obzir njihove bojazni glede rasta cijena energenata kada nameće sankcije".

"G7 mora jasno dati do znanja da će zapadni svijet preuzeti svoju odgovornost prema promicanju sigurnosti hrane u ranjivim zemljama", smatra Brenner.

Indija, Senegal i JAR bile su suzdržane na glasanju o rezoluciji UN-a kojom se osuđuje ruska invazija Ukrajine.

Te su rastuće ekonomije posebice izložene rizicima nestašice hrane i klimatskih promjena.

Christoph Bals, politički direktor nevladine udruge Germanwatch, u kontekstu smanjenja isporuka ruskog plina kazao je da je "zabrinut eventualnim korakom unazad glede angažmana G7 prema ukidanju međunarodnog financiranja fosilnih goriva.

"Prehrambena kriza, dužnička kriza i klimatska kriza imaju iste uzroke: našu ovisnost o fosilnim gorivima", ocijenio je  Laurence Tubiana, jedan od kreatora Pariškog sporazuma.

Zapadni čelnici će na dva predstojeća ključna samita, G7 i NATO-a, nastojati što više zbiti redove u odnosu prema Moskvi jer bi rat u Ukrajini, kojem se ne vidi kraja, mogao dovesti u pitanje njihovo jedinstvo.

Čelnici velikih sila, među kojima je i američki predsjednik Joe Biden, od nedjelje se sastaju u bavarskim Alpama na godišnjem okupljanju sedam indistrijski najrazvijenijih zemalja svijeta (G7).

Skupinu čine SAD, Kanada, Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo, Japan, Francuska, Italija i Njemačka.

Nastavak potpore Ukrajini, četiri mjeseca nakon početka ruske ofenzive, bit će u samom središtu tog sastanka, ali i dvodnevnog samita NATO-a koji počinje 28.  lipnja u Madridu.

Kancelar Olaf Scholz, domaćin samita G7, ovaj tjedan je podsjetio da će potpora Ukrajini zahtijevati "ustrajnost".

"Istina je da smo još daleko od pregovora između Ukrajine i Rusije jer Putin i dalje vjeruje u mogućnost diktiranog mira", rekao je Scholz, dodajući da je stoga još važnije "čvrsto ostati na zacrtanom smjeru, s našim sankcijama, financijskom potporom Ukrajini i koordiniranim isporukama oružja". 

Glavni tajnik NATO-a Jens Stoltenberg upozorio je da bi rat u Ukrajini mogao trajati "godinama".

Stefan Meister iz njemačkog istraživačkog instituta DGAP tvrdi da je ruska agresija primorala članice G7 da shvate da su potrebne jedna drugoj jer će inflacija ili prijetnje izbijanja energetske i prehrambene krize, kao posljedice rata, dodatno staviti na kušnju otpor međunarodne zajednice.

Očekuje se da će čelnici također razgovarati i o "Marshallovom planu" obnove Ukrajine koji će koštati "milijarde" i obuhvatiti "više generacija". 

Predsjednik Ukrajine Volodimir Zelenskij će se čelnicima G7 obratiti video vezom i zatražiti još oružja, a to će učiniti i na samitu NATO-a.

NATO će na samitu posebice predstaviti planove zaštite svog istočnog krila, u neposrednoj blizini Rusije.

To pojačanje pratit će novi strateški koncept koji podrazumijeva tvrđe stajalište prema Rusiji i koji po prvi puta spominje izazove koje predstavlja Kina.

Najava Ankare da će blokirati pristup Švedske i Finske u NATO baca sjenu na očekivani prikaz jedinstva među saveznicima, piše AFP.

Agencija također podsjeća da Berlin optužuje Moskvu za smanjenje isporuka plina kako bi izazvala energetsku krizu u Europi prije zime te ističe da je u tom kontekstu važno spomenuti da na G7 sudjeluju i Indonezija, Indija, Senegal, JAR i Argentina.

Thorsten Brenner, generalni direktor instituta Global Public Policy, kazao je da je "ključni zadatak uvjeriti brojne nezapadne zemlje, koje su skeptične prema sankcijama, da Zapad uzima u obzir njihove bojazni glede rasta cijena energenata kada nameće sankcije".

"G7 mora jasno dati do znanja da će zapadni svijet preuzeti svoju odgovornost prema promicanju sigurnosti hrane u ranjivim zemljama", smatra Brenner.

Indija, Senegal i JAR bile su suzdržane na glasanju o rezoluciji UN-a kojom se osuđuje ruska invazija Ukrajine.

Te su rastuće ekonomije posebice izložene rizicima nestašice hrane i klimatskih promjena.

Christoph Bals, politički direktor nevladine udruge Germanwatch, u kontekstu smanjenja isporuka ruskog plina kazao je da je "zabrinut eventualnim korakom unazad glede angažmana G7 prema ukidanju međunarodnog financiranja fosilnih goriva.

"Prehrambena kriza, dužnička kriza i klimatska kriza imaju iste uzroke: našu ovisnost o fosilnim gorivima", ocijenio je  Laurence Tubiana, jedan od kreatora Pariškog sporazuma.

Zapadni čelnici će na dva predstojeća ključna samita, G7 i NATO-a, nastojati što više zbiti redove u odnosu prema Moskvi jer bi rat u Ukrajini, kojem se ne vidi kraja, mogao dovesti u pitanje njihovo jedinstvo.

Čelnici velikih sila, među kojima je i američki predsjednik Joe Biden, od nedjelje se sastaju u bavarskim Alpama na godišnjem okupljanju sedam indistrijski najrazvijenijih zemalja svijeta (G7).

Skupinu čine SAD, Kanada, Ujedinjeno Kraljevstvo, Japan, Francuska, Italija i Njemačka.

Nastavak potpore Ukrajini, četiri mjeseca nakon početka ruske ofenzive, bit će u samom središtu tog sastanka, ali i dvodnevnog samita NATO-a koji počinje 28.  lipnja u Madridu.

Kancelar Olaf Scholz, domaćin samita G7, ovaj tjedan je podsjetio da će potpora Ukrajini zahtijevati...
