Europski parlament podupro je u četvrtak odluku da se shema uporabe digitalnih covid potvrda produlji na još godinu dana, o čemu će odmah započeti pregovore s Vijećem.

Kako bi se pobrinuo da građani Europske unije imaju koristi od slobodnog kretanja bez obzira na razvoj pandemije covida-19, Europski parlament je na plenarnom zasjedanju podržao odluku da se otvore pregovori sa zemljama članicama o produženju sheme upotrebe digitalnih covid potvrda koja treba isteći 30. lipnja, na još 12 mjeseci.

Uz produljenje valjanosti sheme covid potvrda do 30. lipnja 2023. godine, EP je podupro i prijedlog da se zemljama članicama dopusti da  izdaju potvrde na temelju novih tipova antigenskih testova.

Pregovori s Vijećem o produženju mogu početi odmah, tako da pravila budu na snazi prije nego što istekne trenutna shema, 30. lipnja.

"Pandemija nije završila, najgore jest, ali pandemija nije. Traži se vremenski ograničeno produljenje”, rekao je izvjestitelj, socijaldemokrat Juan Fernando Lopez Aguilar.

Odluka o digitalnim covid potvrdama donesena je u lipnju 2021. kako bi se olakšalo slobodno kretanje u Europi tijekom pandemije, na ograničeni rok od 12 mjeseci koji ističe 30. lipnja ove godine. Komisija je u veljači predložila produljenje njihove valjanosti za još jednu godinu.

Odbor Parlamenta za građanske slobode podupro je 28. travnja prijedlog da se covid potvrde produlje na još godinu dana, do 30. lipnja 2023., a uz tu odluku, donesena je i ona da zemlje članice mogu izdavati potvrde na temelju antigenskih testova.

Zastupnici EP-a smatraju da države članice trebaju izbjegavati dodatne restrikcije slobode kretanja onima koji imaju covid potvrdu, osim ako to nije apsolutno nužno.

Ako restrikcije budu potrebne, trebaju biti ograničene i proporcionalne, utemeljene na posljednjim znanstvenim savjetima Europskog centra za prevenciju i kontrolu bolesti (ECDC) i Odbora za zdravstvenu sigurnost EU-a, dodaje Parlament.

Također je zatražio od Komisije da procijeni šest mjeseci nakon produljenja je li shema potrebna i proporcionalna.

Protiv odluke o produljenju izjasnila se zastupnica krajnje desne grupacije Identitet i demokracija.

“Prije godinu dana smo na plenarnoj sjednici usvojili ovaj instrument za harmonizaciju propisa kako bismo omogućili građanima kretanje. No sada smo ponovno na plenarnoj, nemamo maske, ne treba nam potvrda, ne mislimo da bi produljenje do 2023. bilo opravdano, to škodi građanima pa vas pozivamo da glasate protiv”, kazala je u raparavi Annalisa Tardino.

Europski parlament podupro je u četvrtak odluku da se shema uporabe digitalnih covid potvrda produlji na još godinu dana, o čemu će odmah započeti pregovore s Vijećem.

Kako bi se pobrinuo da građani Europske unije imaju koristi od slobodnog kretanja bez obzira na razvoj pandemije covida-19, Europski parlament je na plenarnom zasjedanju podržao odluku da se otvore pregovori sa zemljama članicama o produženju sheme upotrebe digitalnih covid potvrda koja treba isteći 30. lipnja, na još 12 mjeseci.

Uz produljenje valjanosti sheme covid potvrda do 30. lipnja 2023. godine, EP je podupro i prijedlog da se zemljama članicama dopusti da  izdaju potvrde na temelju novih tipova antigenskih testova.

Pregovori s Vijećem o produženju mogu početi odmah, tako da pravila budu na snazi prije nego što istekne trenutna shema, 30. lipnja.

"Pandemija nije završila, najgore jest, ali pandemija nije. Traži se vremenski ograničeno produljenje”, rekao je izvjestitelj, socijaldemokrat Juan Fernando Lopez Aguilar.

Odluka o digitalnim covid potvrdama donesena je u lipnju 2021. kako bi se olakšalo slobodno kretanje u Europi tijekom pandemije, na ograničeni rok od 12 mjeseci koji ističe 30. lipnja ove godine. Komisija je u veljači predložila produljenje njihove valjanosti za još jednu godinu.

Odbor Parlamenta za građanske slobode podupro je 28. travnja prijedlog da se covid potvrde produlje na još godinu dana, do 30. lipnja 2023., a uz tu odluku, donesena je i ona da zemlje članice mogu izdavati potvrde na temelju antigenskih testova.

Zastupnici EP-a smatraju da države članice trebaju izbjegavati dodatne restrikcije slobode kretanja onima koji imaju covid potvrdu, osim ako to nije apsolutno nužno.

Ako restrikcije budu potrebne, trebaju biti ograničene i proporcionalne, utemeljene na posljednjim znanstvenim savjetima Europskog centra za prevenciju i kontrolu bolesti (ECDC) i Odbora za zdravstvenu sigurnost EU-a, dodaje Parlament.

Također je zatražio od Komisije da procijeni šest mjeseci nakon produljenja je li shema potrebna i proporcionalna.

Protiv odluke o produljenju izjasnila se zastupnica krajnje desne grupacije Identitet i demokracija.

“Prije godinu dana smo na plenarnoj sjednici usvojili ovaj instrument za harmonizaciju propisa kako bismo omogućili građanima kretanje. No sada smo ponovno na plenarnoj, nemamo maske, ne treba nam potvrda, ne mislimo da bi produljenje do 2023. bilo opravdano, to škodi građanima pa vas pozivamo da glasate protiv”, kazala je u raparavi Annalisa Tardino.

Europski parlament ne odriče se covid putovnica, poduprli su odluku da se njihova uporaba produlji, evo o kojem je periodu riječ

Europski parlament podupro je u četvrtak odluku da se shema uporabe digitalnih covid potvrda produlji na još godinu dana, o čemu će odmah započeti pregovore s Vijećem.

Kako bi se pobrinuo da građani Europske unije imaju koristi od slobodnog kretanja bez obzira na razvoj pandemije covida-19, Europski parlament je na plenarnom zasjedanju podržao odluku da se otvore pregovori sa zemljama članicama o produženju sheme upotrebe digitalnih covid potvrda koja treba isteći 30. lipnja, na još 12 mjeseci.

Uz produljenje valjanosti sheme covid potvrda do 30. lipnja 2023. godine, EP je podupro i prijedlog da se zemljama članicama dopusti da  izdaju potvrde na temelju novih tipova antigenskih testova.
