Gotovo desetak zemalja u petak je ponovno počelo cijepiti AstraZenecom nakon što su europski i britanski regulatori procijenili da su koristi tog cjepiva veći od rizika poslije izvještaja o rijetkim slučajevima poremećaja zgrušavanja krvi. 

Počinje test povjerenja u cjepivo AstraZenece i medicinske regulatore čiji su zaključci pod neviđenom lupom jer se varijante koronavirusa nastavljaju širiti i raste broj covid žrtava kojih je gotovo 2,7 milijuna u svijetu, piše britanska agencija Reuters.

Indonezija, Njemačka, Francuska i druge zemlje ponovno su počele cijepiti AstraZenecom. Te su zemlje privremeno obustavile uporabu tog cjepiva nakon izvještaja o tridesetak slučajeva rijetkih poremećaja zgrušavanja nakon što su iskorišteni milijuni doza cjepiva pa su znanstvenici i vlade pokušali utvrditi postoji li uzročno posljedična veza.

Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) objavila je da je došla do jasnog zaključka da su koristi cjepiva u zaštiti ljudi od smrti ili hospitalizacije zbog koronavirusa veće od mogućih rizika. 

Ipak, EMA je navela da se veza između rijetkih slučajeva poremećaja zgrušavanja i cjepiva ne može definitivno isključiti i da će nastaviti s ispitivanjem zajedno s Britanskom regulatornom agencijom za lijekove i zdravstvene proizvode (MHRA).

"Ovo je sigurno i učinkovito cjepivo", rekla je direktorica EMA-e Emer Cooke na brifingu u četvrtak.

EMA je navela da će ažurirati svoje smjernice o cjepivu koje će uključivati objašnjenje za pacijente o potencijalnim rizicima i informacije za zdravstvene radnike, kako bi pomogla ljudima da prepoznaju simptome zbog kojih će možda trebati potražiti medicinsku pomoć nakon cijepljenja.

Nakon što se oglasila EMA i drugi su pokušali pojačati povjerenje u cjepivo AstraZenece, koje se globalno smatra važnim zbog relativno jednostavnog skladištenja i transporta te niske cijene, u usporedbi s mRNA cjepivima koje su proizveli Pfizer i Moderna.

"Ono na što bismo se zapravo trebali usredotočiti je to da je ovo nevjerojatno umirujuće. Procesi djeluju, provodi se nadzor sigurnosti koji svi očekujemo od naših vlasti", rekao je za radio BBC Andrew Pollard, direktor Grupe za cjepivo Oxford. 

"Moramo nastaviti nadzirati sigurnost, ali na kraju - borimo se protiv virusa, a ne cjepiva", dodao je Pollard. 

Sveučilište Oxford i AstraZeneca zajednički su proizveli cjepivo.

Njemačka ponovno cijepi AstraZenecom od petka ujutro, dok je francuski premijer Jean Castex najavio da će promovirati nastavak cijepljenja AstraZenecom u zemlji tako što će u petak primiti to cjepivo. 

Talijanski premijer Mario Draghi rekao je da će Italija slijediti primjer, nakon što su isto najavili Cipar, Latvija i Litva. 

Španjolska nastavlja cijepljenje AstraZenecom u srijedu, a Kanada je također dala potporu cjepivu. 

Britanski regulator MHRA istražuje pet slučajeva rijetkih poremećaja zgrušavanja koji su zabilježeni među 11 milijuna primijenjenih doza tog cjepiva u Britaniji. 

No regulator preporučuje da se cijepljenje AstraZenecom nastavi, a jedan dužnosnik je rekao da se cijepljenje neće zaustaviti čak i ako se utvrdi veza. 

AstraZeneca je u nedjelju objavila da analiza podataka o 17 milijuna cijepljenih ljudi u Velikoj Britaniji i EU njihovim cjepivom nije pronašla nikakav dokaz o povećanom riziku od poremećaja zgrušavanja.

Panel za sigurnost cjepiva Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) koja je već podržala nastavak cijepljenja AstraZenecom, proučava podatke i izvješća o rijetkim slučajevima poremećaja zgrušavanja i trebao bi u petak objaviti nove nalaze o cjepivu.

Gotovo desetak zemalja u petak je ponovno počelo cijepiti AstraZenecom nakon što su europski i britanski regulatori procijenili da su koristi tog cjepiva veći od rizika poslije izvještaja o rijetkim slučajevima poremećaja zgrušavanja krvi. 

Počinje test povjerenja u cjepivo AstraZenece i medicinske regulatore čiji su zaključci pod neviđenom lupom jer se varijante koronavirusa nastavljaju širiti i raste broj covid žrtava kojih je gotovo 2,7 milijuna u svijetu, piše britanska agencija Reuters.

Indonezija, Njemačka, Francuska i druge zemlje ponovno su počele cijepiti AstraZenecom. Te su zemlje privremeno obustavile uporabu tog cjepiva nakon izvještaja o tridesetak slučajeva rijetkih poremećaja zgrušavanja nakon što su iskorišteni milijuni doza cjepiva pa su znanstvenici i vlade pokušali utvrditi postoji li uzročno posljedična veza.

Europska agencija za lijekove (EMA) objavila je da je došla do jasnog zaključka da su koristi cjepiva u zaštiti ljudi od smrti ili hospitalizacije zbog koronavirusa veće od mogućih rizika. 

Ipak, EMA je navela da se veza između rijetkih slučajeva poremećaja zgrušavanja i cjepiva ne može definitivno isključiti i da će nastaviti s ispitivanjem zajedno s Britanskom regulatornom agencijom za lijekove i zdravstvene proizvode (MHRA).

"Ovo je sigurno i učinkovito cjepivo", rekla je direktorica EMA-e Emer Cooke na brifingu u četvrtak.

EMA je navela da će ažurirati svoje smjernice o cjepivu koje će uključivati objašnjenje za pacijente o potencijalnim rizicima i informacije za zdravstvene radnike, kako bi pomogla ljudima da prepoznaju simptome zbog kojih će možda trebati potražiti medicinsku pomoć nakon cijepljenja.

Nakon što se oglasila EMA i drugi su pokušali pojačati povjerenje u cjepivo AstraZenece, koje se globalno smatra važnim zbog relativno jednostavnog skladištenja i transporta te niske cijene, u usporedbi s mRNA cjepivima koje su proizveli Pfizer i Moderna.

"Ono na što bismo se zapravo trebali usredotočiti je to da je ovo nevjerojatno umirujuće. Procesi djeluju, provodi se nadzor sigurnosti koji svi očekujemo od naših vlasti", rekao je za radio BBC Andrew Pollard, direktor Grupe za cjepivo Oxford. 

"Moramo nastaviti nadzirati sigurnost, ali na kraju - borimo se protiv virusa, a ne cjepiva", dodao je Pollard. 

Sveučilište Oxford i AstraZeneca zajednički su proizveli cjepivo.

Njemačka ponovno cijepi AstraZenecom od petka ujutro, dok je francuski premijer Jean Castex najavio da će promovirati nastavak cijepljenja AstraZenecom u zemlji tako što će u petak primiti to cjepivo. 

Talijanski premijer Mario Draghi rekao je da će Italija slijediti primjer, nakon što su isto najavili Cipar, Latvija i Litva. 

Španjolska nastavlja cijepljenje AstraZenecom u srijedu, a Kanada je također dala potporu cjepivu. 

Britanski regulator MHRA istražuje pet slučajeva rijetkih poremećaja zgrušavanja koji su zabilježeni među 11 milijuna primijenjenih doza tog cjepiva u Britaniji. 

No regulator preporučuje da se cijepljenje AstraZenecom nastavi, a jedan dužnosnik je rekao da se cijepljenje neće zaustaviti čak i ako se utvrdi veza. 

AstraZeneca je u nedjelju objavila da analiza podataka o 17 milijuna cijepljenih ljudi u Velikoj Britaniji i EU njihovim cjepivom nije pronašla nikakav dokaz o povećanom riziku od poremećaja zgrušavanja.

Panel za sigurnost cjepiva Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) koja je već podržala nastavak cijepljenja AstraZenecom, proučava podatke i izvješća o rijetkim slučajevima poremećaja zgrušavanja i trebao bi u petak objaviti nove nalaze o cjepivu.

Gotovo desetak zemalja u petak je ponovno počelo cijepiti AstraZenecom nakon što su europski i britanski regulatori procijenili da su koristi tog cjepiva veći od rizika poslije izvještaja o rijetkim slučajevima poremećaja zgrušavanja krvi. 

Počinje test povjerenja u cjepivo AstraZenece i medicinske regulatore čiji su zaključci pod neviđenom lupom jer se varijante koronavirusa nastavljaju širiti i raste broj covid žrtava kojih je gotovo 2,7 milijuna u svijetu, piše britanska agencija Reuters.
