Otkad je započela Putinova agresija na Ukrajinu intenzivno se radi na prijedlogu naftnih sankcija Rusiji i traži model koji bi Kremlju nanio najveći gospodarski udarac, ali istodobno se važe svaki detalj embarga kako bi bilo što manje štete za europsku ekonomiju. Prema zadnjim informacijama Berlin će podržati zabranu uvoza nafte iz Rusije kao dio šestog paketa sankcija. Ta njemačka odluka širom otvara vrata da se zajednička odluka Europske unije o uvođenju embarga doista i dogodi.

Razlog za promjenu njemačke pozicije je očito uspjeh u pronalaženju alternativnih dobavljača nafte. Njemački ministar gospodarstva Robert Habeck izjavio je kako je u osam tjedana njemačka ovisnost o ruskoj nafti smanjena s 35 posto na 12 posto.

Znamo da ima dosta prijepora oko embarga na rusku naftu u zemljama EU-a, najžešći protivnik tome je Mađarska, no 'padne' li Njemačka, očekuje se da će se odluci prikloniti i ostale zemlje koje se tome protive, kao što su  Austrija, Španjolska, Italija i Grčka… Logičan je strah njihovih gospodarstava jer se u velikoj mjeri oslanjaju na rusku naftu, a problem je što bi zavrtanjem ruske nafte cijene goriva mogle poletjeti u nebo.

Hoće li se doista europske zemlje uspjeti usuglasiti oko ove odluke znat će se vjerojatno kroz idućih tjedan dana budući Europska komisija pokušava što prije predstaviti nacrt novih sankcija i izvršiti dodatni pritisak na Moskvu.

Koliko su sankcije na naftu važne govori i podatak da je Rusija prošle godine na izvozu nafte dobila preko 110 milijardi dolara prihoda, što je gotovo četvrtina ukupnog ruskog robnog izvoza.  

Pozivajući se na diplomate u Europskoj uniji, portal Politico pak piše i kako je Njemačka predstavila inicijativu za uvođenje embarga na ruski uran.

Takav bi potez mogao pogoditi opskrbu uranijem od kojeg se proizvodi gorivo za energetske reaktore koje je izgradila Rusija, kao i nove nuklearne projekte kojima upravlja ruska podružnica Rosatoma za zapadnu Europu, sa sjedištem u Parizu.

Četvorica diplomata, potvrdila su Politicu da se o sankcioniranju ruske nuklearne industrije razgovaralo na sastanku s veleposlanicima EU-a i Komisijom prošloga tjedna, pri čemu su Poljska i baltičke zemlje predvodile pozive na sankcije.

"Njemački veleposlanik u srijedu je najavio novi stav Berlina, kazavši da će poduprijeti, ne samo sankcije za naftu, nego i za zabranu ruskog uranija", rekao je diplomat EU-a, za Politico.

Dobar dio zastupnika u Europskom parlamentu također je zatražio da nuklearna energija bude uključena u sankcije EU. Ali bilo kakav potez protiv ruske nuklearne industrije ne bi bio bezbolan za Europljane. EU uvozi gotovo sav svoj uranij izvan Unije. Oko 20 posto dolazi iz Rusije, što je čini drugim najvećim dobavljačem nakon Nigera.

Očekuje se da će sankcioniranje Rosatomove podružnice sa sjedištem u Parizu biti posebno osjetljivo pitanje za novoizabranog francuskog predsjednika Emmanuela Macrona.

Francuska, naime ima veliki nuklearni energetski sektor i blisko surađuje s Rosatomom na nekoliko projekata putem EDF-a u djelomičnom državnom vlasništvu. Otprije je poznato kako Njemačka i Francuska nemaju isti stav oko nuklearne energije, a radi se o dva najveća 'igrača' u Europskoj uniji. Njemačka je žestoki protivnik nuklearne energije, a cilj joj je zatvoriti preostale nuklearne elektrane do kraja ove godine.

Berlin se ne zadovoljava isključivanjem vlastitih reaktora, nego nastoji odvratiti i druge europske zemlje od ulaganja u nuklearnu energiju. Nedavno su kritizirali odluku Belgije da odgodi svoje planove postupnog ukidanja za jedno desetljeće.

Francuska, pak, više od 70 posto električne energije dobiva iz nuklearnih elektrana i planira graditi još više reaktora. No Francuska se ne oslanja na Rusiju za svoj uvoz urana, jer gorivo uglavnom dobiva iz Kazahstana i Nigera, dok za nuklearne reaktore ruske proizvodnje u Češkoj, Mađarskoj, Finskoj, Bugarskoj, Rumunjskoj i Slovačkoj ne postoji dopuštena alternativa nuklearnom gorivu ruskoj opskrbi.

Slovačka je već prije izjavila kako ima dovoljno nuklearnog goriva da traje do kraja 2023. godine, a već je bilo razgovora između tih pet zemalja EU-a i američkog dobavljača Westinghousea o proizvodnji zamjenskog goriva za te ruske reaktore, ali za to treba određeno vrijeme.

Otkad je započela Putinova agresija na Ukrajinu intenzivno se radi na prijedlogu naftnih sankcija Rusiji i traži model koji bi Kremlju nanio najveći gospodarski udarac, ali istodobno se važe svaki detalj embarga kako bi bilo što manje štete za europsku ekonomiju. Prema zadnjim informacijama Berlin će podržati zabranu uvoza nafte iz Rusije kao dio šestog paketa sankcija. Ta njemačka odluka širom otvara vrata da se zajednička odluka Europske unije o uvođenju embarga doista i dogodi.

Razlog za promjenu njemačke pozicije je očito uspjeh u pronalaženju alternativnih dobavljača nafte. Njemački ministar gospodarstva Robert Habeck izjavio je kako je u osam tjedana njemačka ovisnost o ruskoj nafti smanjena s 35 posto na 12 posto.

Znamo da ima dosta prijepora oko embarga na rusku naftu u zemljama EU-a, najžešći protivnik tome je Mađarska, no 'padne' li Njemačka, očekuje se da će se odluci prikloniti i ostale zemlje koje se tome protive, kao što su  Austrija, Španjolska, Italija i Grčka… Logičan je strah njihovih gospodarstava jer se u velikoj mjeri oslanjaju na rusku naftu, a problem je što bi zavrtanjem ruske nafte cijene goriva mogle poletjeti u nebo.

Hoće li se doista europske zemlje uspjeti usuglasiti oko ove odluke znat će se vjerojatno kroz idućih tjedan dana budući Europska komisija pokušava što prije predstaviti nacrt novih sankcija i izvršiti dodatni pritisak na Moskvu.

Koliko su sankcije na naftu važne govori i podatak da je Rusija prošle godine na izvozu nafte dobila preko 110 milijardi dolara prihoda, što je gotovo četvrtina ukupnog ruskog robnog izvoza.  

Pozivajući se na diplomate u Europskoj uniji, portal Politico pak piše i kako je Njemačka predstavila inicijativu za uvođenje embarga na ruski uran.

Takav bi potez mogao pogoditi opskrbu uranijem od kojeg se proizvodi gorivo za energetske reaktore koje je izgradila Rusija, kao i nove nuklearne projekte kojima upravlja ruska podružnica Rosatoma za zapadnu Europu, sa sjedištem u Parizu.

Četvorica diplomata, potvrdila su Politicu da se o sankcioniranju ruske nuklearne industrije razgovaralo na sastanku s veleposlanicima EU-a i Komisijom prošloga tjedna, pri čemu su Poljska i baltičke zemlje predvodile pozive na sankcije.

"Njemački veleposlanik u srijedu je najavio novi stav Berlina, kazavši da će poduprijeti, ne samo sankcije za naftu, nego i za zabranu ruskog uranija", rekao je diplomat EU-a, za Politico.

Dobar dio zastupnika u Europskom parlamentu također je zatražio da nuklearna energija bude uključena u sankcije EU. Ali bilo kakav potez protiv ruske nuklearne industrije ne bi bio bezbolan za Europljane. EU uvozi gotovo sav svoj uranij izvan Unije. Oko 20 posto dolazi iz Rusije, što je čini drugim najvećim dobavljačem nakon Nigera.

Očekuje se da će sankcioniranje Rosatomove podružnice sa sjedištem u Parizu biti posebno osjetljivo pitanje za novoizabranog francuskog predsjednika Emmanuela Macrona.

Francuska, naime ima veliki nuklearni energetski sektor i blisko surađuje s Rosatomom na nekoliko projekata putem EDF-a u djelomičnom državnom vlasništvu. Otprije je poznato kako Njemačka i Francuska nemaju isti stav oko nuklearne energije, a radi se o dva najveća 'igrača' u Europskoj uniji. Njemačka je žestoki protivnik nuklearne energije, a cilj joj je zatvoriti preostale nuklearne elektrane do kraja ove godine.

Berlin se ne zadovoljava isključivanjem vlastitih reaktora, nego nastoji odvratiti i druge europske zemlje od ulaganja u nuklearnu energiju. Nedavno su kritizirali odluku Belgije da odgodi svoje planove postupnog ukidanja za jedno desetljeće.

Francuska, pak, više od 70 posto električne energije dobiva iz nuklearnih elektrana i planira graditi još više reaktora. No Francuska se ne oslanja na Rusiju za svoj uvoz urana, jer gorivo uglavnom dobiva iz Kazahstana i Nigera, dok za nuklearne reaktore ruske proizvodnje u Češkoj, Mađarskoj, Finskoj, Bugarskoj, Rumunjskoj i Slovačkoj ne postoji dopuštena alternativa nuklearnom gorivu ruskoj opskrbi.

Slovačka je već prije izjavila kako ima dovoljno nuklearnog goriva da traje do kraja 2023. godine, a već je bilo razgovora između tih pet zemalja EU-a i američkog dobavljača Westinghousea o proizvodnji zamjenskog goriva za te ruske reaktore, ali za to treba određeno vrijeme.
