Britanska premijerka Liz Truss ispričala se za "pogreške" u svom programu zbog kojih je povjerenje ulagača splasnulo i njen rejting pao prije nego što je gotovo potpuno uništen u ponedjeljak, ali je rekla da neće odstupiti s dužnosti.

"Želim prihvatiti odgovornost i ispričati se za pogreške koje su učinjene", rekao je Truss za BBC.

"Htjela sam djelovati ali i pomoći ljudima s njihovim računima za energiju da se nose s problemom visokih poreza, ali otišli smo predaleko i prebrzo", rekla je premijerka.

Ministar financija Jeremy Hunt, koji je imenovan u petak nakon što je Truss otpustila svog bliskog saveznika Kwasija Kwartenga, odbacio je preostale glavne elemente njenog programa u ponedjeljak, uključujući smanjenje njezine opsežne energetske potpore.

Upitana je li sada premijerka samo po imenu, Truss je rekla da je imenovala Hunta jer je znala da mora promijeniti smjer.

“Bilo bi potpuno neodgovorno da nisam djelovala u nacionalnom interesu na način na koji jesam”, rekla je.

"Bilo je ispravno što smo promijenili politiku", dodala je.

Truss, koja je postala premijerka prije manje od šest tjedana, rekla je da će voditi svoju Konzervativnu stranku na sljedećim izborima.

"Ostajem jer sam izabrana da radim za ovu zemlju", rekla je. "I to je ono što sam odlučna učiniti", istaknula je.

Britanska premijerka stigla je u ponedjeljak u parlament, uoči obraćanja ministra financija Jeremyja Hunta, nakon što je doživjela salvu kritika jer se nije ranije pojavila, uz optužbe da se "skriva pod stolom".

Truss je u parlamentu sjedila ozbiljna lica dok je Hunt objašnjavao zastupnicima svoj zaokret u proračunskoj politici za 180 stupnjeva. On je okrenuo ploču i odbacio gotovo cijeli premijerkin mini-proračun i rekao da zemlja mora povećati poreze i srezati potrošnju kako bi ponovno izgradila stabilnost i povjerenje.

Britanska premijerka Liz Truss ispričala se za "pogreške" u svom programu zbog kojih je povjerenje ulagača splasnulo i njen rejting pao prije nego što je gotovo potpuno uništen u ponedjeljak, ali je rekla da neće odstupiti s dužnosti.

"Želim prihvatiti odgovornost i ispričati se za pogreške koje su učinjene", rekao je Truss za BBC.

"Htjela sam djelovati ali i pomoći ljudima s njihovim računima za energiju da se nose s problemom visokih poreza, ali otišli smo predaleko i prebrzo", rekla je premijerka.

Ministar financija Jeremy Hunt, koji je imenovan u petak nakon što je Truss otpustila svog bliskog saveznika Kwasija Kwartenga, odbacio je preostale glavne elemente njenog programa u ponedjeljak, uključujući smanjenje njezine opsežne energetske potpore.

Upitana je li sada premijerka samo po imenu, Truss je rekla da je imenovala Hunta jer je znala da mora promijeniti smjer.

“Bilo bi potpuno neodgovorno da nisam djelovala u nacionalnom interesu na način na koji jesam”, rekla je.

"Bilo je ispravno što smo promijenili politiku", dodala je.

Truss, koja je postala premijerka prije manje od šest tjedana, rekla je da će voditi svoju Konzervativnu stranku na sljedećim izborima.

"Ostajem jer sam izabrana da radim za ovu zemlju", rekla je. "I to je ono što sam odlučna učiniti", istaknula je.

Britanska premijerka stigla je u ponedjeljak u parlament, uoči obraćanja ministra financija Jeremyja Hunta, nakon što je doživjela salvu kritika jer se nije ranije pojavila, uz optužbe da se "skriva pod stolom".

Truss je u parlamentu sjedila ozbiljna lica dok je Hunt objašnjavao zastupnicima svoj zaokret u proračunskoj politici za 180 stupnjeva. On je okrenuo ploču i odbacio gotovo cijeli premijerkin mini-proračun i rekao da zemlja mora povećati poreze i srezati potrošnju kako bi ponovno izgradila stabilnost i povjerenje.

Britanska premijerka Liz Truss ispričala se za "pogreške" u svom programu zbog kojih je povjerenje ulagača splasnulo i njen rejting pao prije nego što je gotovo potpuno uništen u ponedjeljak, ali je rekla da neće odstupiti s dužnosti.

"Želim prihvatiti odgovornost i ispričati se za pogreške koje su učinjene", rekao je Truss za BBC.

"Htjela sam djelovati ali i pomoći ljudima s njihovim računima za energiju da se nose s problemom visokih poreza, ali otišli smo predaleko i prebrzo", rekla je premijerka.

Ministar financija Jeremy Hunt, koji je imenovan u petak nakon što je Truss otpustila svog bliskog saveznika Kwasija Kwartenga, odbacio je preostale glavne elemente njenog programa u ponedjeljak, uključujući smanjenje njezine opsežne energetske potpore.
