Bivši vojni komandos optužen je za ubojstvo bračnog para koji je pronađen izboden na smrt. Učitelj informatike Stephen Chapple (36) i njegova supruga Jennifer (33), zaposlenica u kafiću u vrtnom centru, pronađeni su s teškim ozljedama u svojoj kući vrijednoj 250.000 funti u Norton Fitzwarrenu u blizini Tauntona u nedjelju navečer. Umrli su na licu mjesta dok su njihova dva sina spavala na katu.

Incident je navodno povezan s dugotrajnim sporom oko parkiranja, budući da su susjedi svoje automobile ostavljali ispred kućnih prilaza, zbog čega su se često međusobno blokirali.

Policija Avona i Somerseta sinoć je potvrdila da je Collin Reeves (34) optužen za ubojstva i da će se u četvrtak pojaviti pred sudom. Inspektor Neil Meade, iz tima za istraživanje kaznenih djela, je rekao: 'Policajci specijalisti pružaju podršku obiteljima Jennifer i Stephena i naše misli su večeras s njima. Obavještavamo ih u potpunosti o napretku naše istrage i svjesni su najnovijeg razvoja događaja. Detektivi su potvrdili da je dvoje djece, starosti pet i šest godina, bilo u svojim spavaćim sobama na katu kad se napad dogodio. Pronađena su uznemirena, ali neozlijeđena, a sada o njima brine Jennyna sestra u obližnjoj kući.

Policija je priopćila da je obdukcijskim pregledima utvrđeno da su i gospođa Chapple i njezin suprug umrli od višestrukih uboda nožem. Incident na imanju Dragon Rise će biti proslijeđen policijskim nadzornicima zbog 'prethodnog kontakta policije s umiješanima'.

Gregg Mockridge, ravnatelj na West Somerset Collegeu, gdje je gospodin Chapple radio, rekao je: 'Steve je bio fantastičan kolega na i briljantan učitelj koji je duboko brinuo o svojim studentima. Predavao je inovacije u korištenju tehnologije sa velikom strašću. Jako će nedostajati cijelom osoblju i studentima.' 

Rob Brooks, upravitelj Otter Garden Centra, gdje je gospođa Chapple radila u kafiću, kazao je: 'Bila je voljeni član osoblja i vrlo ljubazna osoba. I mušterije su je jako cijenile. Shrvani smo. Pamtit ćemo je kao lijepu, dragu i predanu majku i kolegicu. Ovo nas je sve jako pogodilo i čini se iznimno sirovim.' Dodao je: 'Stephen i djeca bi također ponekad došli, bili su stvarno bliska obitelj puna ljubavi.'

Susjedi koji žive na novoizgrađenom imanju oko Dragon Risea okarakterizirali su to područje kao tiho, a jedan je opisao žrtve kao 'vrlo prijateljske'. 'Poznavao sam ih iz viđenja, ali nisam znao kako se zovu. Mom psu se ta dama jako sviđala.' Drugi susjed rekao je da nije shvatio da nešto nije u redu čak ni kada je stigao helikopter hitne pomoći, za kojeg je vjerovao da je došao iz obližnje vojne baze. 'Sve smo to prespavali - samo smo jutros vidjeli mnoštvo policije i snimku', rekao je. Drugi su rekli da su čuli vriske i zvali policiju.

Bivši vojni komandos optužen je za ubojstvo bračnog para koji je pronađen izboden na smrt. Učitelj informatike Stephen Chapple (36) i njegova supruga Jennifer (33), zaposlenica u kafiću u vrtnom centru, pronađeni su s teškim ozljedama u svojoj kući vrijednoj 250.000 funti u Norton Fitzwarrenu u blizini Tauntona u nedjelju navečer. Umrli su na licu mjesta dok su njihova dva sina spavala na katu.

Incident je navodno povezan s dugotrajnim sporom oko parkiranja, budući da su susjedi svoje automobile ostavljali ispred kućnih prilaza, zbog čega su se često međusobno blokirali.

Policija Avona i Somerseta sinoć je potvrdila da je Collin Reeves (34) optužen za ubojstva i da će se u četvrtak pojaviti pred sudom. Inspektor Neil Meade, iz tima za istraživanje kaznenih djela, je rekao: 'Policajci specijalisti pružaju podršku obiteljima Jennifer i Stephena i naše misli su večeras s njima. Detektivi su potvrdili da je dvoje djece, starosti pet i šest godina, bilo u svojim spavaćim sobama na katu kad se napad dogodio. Pronađena su uznemirena, ali neozlijeđena, a sada o njima brine Jennyna sestra u obližnjoj kući.

Policija je priopćila da je obdukcijskim pregledima utvrđeno da su i gospođa Chapple i njezin suprug umrli od višestrukih uboda nožem. Incident na imanju Dragon Rise će biti proslijeđen policijskim nadzornicima zbog 'prethodnog kontakta policije s umiješanima'.

Gregg Mockridge, ravnatelj na West Somerset Collegeu, gdje je gospodin Chapple radio, rekao je: 'Steve je bio fantastičan kolega na i briljantan učitelj koji je duboko brinuo o svojim studentima. Rob Brooks, upravitelj Otter Garden Centra, gdje je gospođa Chapple radila u kafiću, kazao je: 'Bila je voljeni član osoblja i vrlo ljubazna osoba. I mušterije su je jako cijenile. Shrvani smo. Pamtit ćemo je kao lijepu, dragu i predanu majku i kolegicu. Ovo nas je sve jako pogodilo i čini se iznimno sirovim.' Dodao je: 'Stephen i djeca bi također ponekad došli, bili su stvarno bliska obitelj puna ljubavi.'

Susjedi koji žive na novoizgrađenom imanju oko Dragon Risea okarakterizirali su to područje kao tiho, a jedan je opisao žrtve kao 'vrlo prijateljske'. 'Poznavao sam ih iz viđenja, ali nisam znao kako se zovu. Mom psu se ta dama jako sviđala.' Drugi susjed rekao je da nije shvatio da nešto nije u redu čak ni kada je stigao helikopter hitne pomoći, za kojeg je vjerovao da je došao iz obližnje vojne baze. 'Sve smo to prespavali - samo smo jutros vidjeli mnoštvo policije i snimku', rekao je. Drugi su rekli da su čuli vriske i zvali policiju.

Bivši vojni komandos optužen je za ubojstvo bračnog para koji je pronađen izboden na smrt. Učitelj informatike Stephen Chapple (36) i njegova supruga Jennifer (33), zaposlenica u kafiću u vrtnom centru, pronađeni su s teškim ozljedama u svojoj kući vrijednoj 250.000 funti u Norton Fitzwarrenu u blizini Tauntona u nedjelju navečer. Umrli su na licu mjesta dok su njihova dva sina spavala na katu.

Incident je navodno povezan s dugotrajnim sporom oko parkiranja, budući da su susjedi svoje automobile ostavljali ispred kućnih prilaza, zbog čega su se često međusobno blokirali.
