Najbogatiji čovjek na svjetu, Elon Musk, komentirao je Twitter objavu senatora Bernieja Sandersa koji je pozvao pratitelje mu se pridruže u nastojanju da američka vlada natjera superbogate da uplate 'pošteni dio' poreza natrag u javnu kasicu. Musk se zabavio rekavši 80-godišnjem Bernieju da je bio siguran da je ovaj - mrtav. 

'Moramo zahtijevati da iznimno bogati plate svoj pošteni dio. Točka', napisao je Sanders na Twitteru u subotu, na što mu je Musk odgovorio: 'Stalno zaboravljam da si još živ.'

Nakon toga je Elon upitao bivšeg kandidata za američkog predsjednika: 'Želiš li da prodam još dionica Bernie? Samo reci...' Osnivač Tesle se time referirao na prodaju paketa vrijednosnica koju je izvršio prošli tjedan. Musk je rekao da je ta prodaja bila odgovor na to što su političari i aktivisti 'neostvarene dobitke' (ne-prodavanje vrijednosnica unatoč tome što ima je porasla cijena) opisivali kao 'izbjegavanje poreza' te da je prodajom namjerno povećao svoju poreznu odgovornost. Čak je prije nekoliko dana objavio anketu u kojoj je postavio pitanje treba li prodati 10 posto svojih udjela Tesle, na što je više od 50% ljudi odgovorilo potvrdno.

Južnoafrički inovator je potom te dionice prodao, ali ne jer je, kako kaže, 'obećao postupiti po rezultatima Twitter ankete', nego jer je prodaja tih opcija i onako bila pred istekom tj. nužna. Dakle, čitava dilema je bila predstava za javnost (osim ukoliko Musk ne proda dodatnih 10 posto dionica u dogledno vrijeme). Ili, kako piše u službenoj dokumentaciji SEC-a, Komisije za vrijednosne papire i burze, razlog za transakciju je 'isključivo za podmirenje poreznih obveza po odbitku u vezi s korištenjem dioničkih opcija'.

Musk, čija je neto vrijednost preko 285 milijardi dolara, već se i prije sukobljavao sa Sandersom i to uglavnom u vezi s porezima. Socijalist je u ožujku pozvao Muska i osnivača Amazona Jeffa Bezosa da plate više i ustvrdio je da su 'nemoralni' jer: '...skupa imaju više bogatstva od 40 posto ljudi na dnu SAD-a. Ta razina pohlepe i nejednakosti nije samo nemoralna. To je neodrživo.'

Musk je odgovorio reklamirajući svoju svemirsku firmu SpaceX kojom želi 'pomoći da život postane multiplanetaran i svijest se proširi na zvijezde'. 'Putovanje u svemir je uzbudljiva ideja, ali trenutno se moramo usredotočiti na Zemlju i stvoriti progresivni porezni sustav kako djeca ne bi gladovala, ljudi bili beskućnici i svi Amerikanci imali zdravstvenu skrb', odgovorio je Sanders, dodajući da je 'nejednakost' u SAD-u 'bestidna' i 'prijetnja demokraciji'.

Najbogatiji čovjek na svjetu, Elon Musk, komentirao je Twitter objavu senatora Bernieja Sandersa koji je pozvao pratitelje mu se pridruže u nastojanju da američka vlada natjera superbogate da uplate 'pošteni dio' poreza natrag u javnu kasicu. Musk se zabavio rekavši 80-godišnjem Bernieju da je bio siguran da je ovaj - mrtav. 

'Moramo zahtijevati da iznimno bogati plate svoj pošteni dio. Točka', napisao je Sanders na Twitteru u subotu, na što mu je Musk odgovorio: 'Stalno zaboravljam da si još živ.'

Nakon toga je Elon upitao bivšeg kandidata za američkog predsjednika: 'Želiš li da prodam još dionica Bernie? Samo reci...' Osnivač Tesle se time referirao na prodaju paketa vrijednosnica koju je izvršio prošli tjedan. Musk je rekao da je ta prodaja bila odgovor na to što su političari i aktivisti 'neostvarene dobitke' (ne-prodavanje vrijednosnica unatoč tome što ima je porasla cijena) opisivali kao 'izbjegavanje poreza' te da je prodajom namjerno povećao svoju poreznu odgovornost. Čak je prije nekoliko dana objavio anketu u kojoj je postavio pitanje treba li prodati 10 posto svojih udjela Tesle, na što je više od 50% ljudi odgovorilo potvrdno.

Južnoafrički inovator je potom te dionice prodao, ali ne jer je, kako kaže, 'obećao postupiti po rezultatima Twitter ankete', nego jer je prodaja tih opcija i onako bila pred istekom tj. nužna. Dakle, čitava dilema je bila predstava za javnost (osim ukoliko Musk ne proda dodatnih 10 posto dionica u dogledno vrijeme). Ili, kako piše u službenoj dokumentaciji SEC-a, Komisije za vrijednosne papire i burze, razlog za transakciju je 'isključivo za podmirenje poreznih obveza po odbitku u vezi s korištenjem dioničkih opcija'.

Musk, čija je neto vrijednost preko 285 milijardi dolara, već se i prije sukobljavao sa Sandersom i to uglavnom u vezi s porezima. Socijalist je u ožujku pozvao Muska i osnivača Amazona Jeffa Bezosa da plate više i ustvrdio je da su 'nemoralni' jer: '...skupa imaju više bogatstva od 40 posto ljudi na dnu SAD-a. Ta razina pohlepe i nejednakosti nije samo nemoralna. To je neodrživo.'

Musk je odgovorio reklamirajući svoju svemirsku firmu SpaceX kojom želi 'pomoći da život postane multiplanetaran i svijest se proširi na zvijezde'. 'Putovanje u svemir je uzbudljiva ideja, ali trenutno se moramo usredotočiti na Zemlju i stvoriti progresivni porezni sustav kako djeca ne bi gladovala, ljudi bili beskućnici i svi Amerikanci imali zdravstvenu skrb', odgovorio je Sanders, dodajući da je 'nejednakost' u SAD-u 'bestidna' i 'prijetnja demokraciji'.

Najbogatiji čovjek na svjetu, Elon Musk, komentirao je Twitter objavu senatora Bernieja Sandersa koji je pozvao pratitelje mu se pridruže u nastojanju da američka vlada natjera superbogate da uplate 'pošteni dio' poreza natrag u javnu kasicu. Musk se zabavio rekavši 80-godišnjem Bernieju da je bio siguran da je ovaj - mrtav. 

'Moramo zahtijevati da iznimno bogati plate svoj pošteni dio. Točka', napisao je Sanders na Twitteru u subotu, na što mu je Musk odgovorio: 'Stalno zaboravljam da si još živ.'

Nakon toga je Elon upitao bivšeg kandidata za američkog predsjednika: 'Želiš li da prodam još dionica Bernie? Samo reci...' Osnivač Tesle se time referirao na prodaju paketa vrijednosnica koju je izvršio prošli tjedan. Musk je rekao da...
