Operacija Blackout trebala bi biti provedena simultanim napadima hakera na DNS servere koji pretvaraju internetske adrese u numeričke IP adrese koje računala prepoznaju. DNS u načelu osigurava da se spojite na odgovarajuću stranicu pošto unesete web adresu u tražilicu.

Riječ je o telefonskom imeniku interneta, a kad bi se spriječio pristup imeniku internet bi postao neupotrebljiv, piše BBC. Pozivajući se na izjave stručnjaka, BBC navodi da bi najavljeni napad na internet mogao uspjeti ako bi se DNS serveri zagušili velikim brojem lažnih zahtjeva pa ne bi mogli odgovoriti na legitimne.

Anonymous je neformalna decentralizirana skupina anonimnih hakera, pripadnika raznih internetskih subkultura koje se načelno zauzimaju za slobodu interneta, te protiv cenzure i naplaćivanja sadržaja.

Posljednjih tjedana skupina Anonymous proslavila se nizom akcija među kojima i rušenjem stranica Vatikana i hakiranjem više od pet milijuna e-mailova Stratfora, analitičke tvrtke za globalnu sigurnost sa sjedištem u SAD-u, navodno povezane s CIA-om.

Riječ je o telefonskom imeniku interneta, a kad bi se spriječio pristup imeniku internet bi postao neupotrebljiv, piše BBC. Pozivajući se na izjave stručnjaka, BBC navodi da bi najavljeni napad na internet mogao uspjeti ako bi se DNS serveri zagušili velikim brojem lažnih zahtjeva pa ne bi mogli odgovoriti na legitimne.

Anonymous je neformalna decentralizirana skupina anonimnih hakera, pripadnika raznih internetskih subkultura koje se načelno zauzimaju za slobodu interneta, te protiv cenzure i naplaćivanja sadržaja.

Posljednjih tjedana skupina Anonymous proslavila se nizom akcija među kojima i rušenjem stranica Vatikana i hakiranjem više od pet milijuna e-mailova Stratfora, analitičke tvrtke za globalnu sigurnost sa sjedištem u SAD-u, navodno povezane s CIA-om.
