Amerika uvjerljivo vodi na crnoj top listi zemalja s najviše zaraženih koronavirusom. Prema podacima stranice Worldometers, koja redovito ažurira podatke o novooboljelima, umrlima i oporavljeni, a selektira ih i prema dobi i zemljama, trenutno u SAD-u ima gotovo 150.000 zaraženih, a najviše ih je pritom u New Yorku. Konkretnije brojke bit će poznate i sigurno još veće do kraja dana, a čak je i do sada iznimno optimistični američki predsjednik Donald Trump odustao od najave da će se sve normalizirati iza Uskrsa...
Amerika broji i oko 2500 umrlih od Covid-19, a u najcrnjem scenariju ta brojka mi mogla rasti i do 200.000, kazao je Trump. Jasno je onda da Amerikanci, kao i cijeli svijet uostalom, žurno traže lijekove koji bi pomogli zaraženima dok se ne nađe cjepivo.
Američka agencija za hranu i lijekove (FDA) izdala je odobrenje za hitnu uporabu klorokinom i hidroksiklorokinom za liječenje pacijenata hospitaliziranih s Covid-19. Riječ je o antimalaricima, ali, kako nam je pojasnio splitski klinički farmakolog dr. Jurica Nazlić, hidroksiklorokin nije samo antimalarik, već je ujedno i lijek koji se koristi u liječenju sistemskog eritemskog lupusa i reumatoidnog artritisa.
Neki dan je, podsjetimo, američki predsjednik Donald Trump objavio kako bi lijekovi hidroksiklorokin i azitromicin (Sumamed) u kombinaciji, mogu postati jedan od najvećih preokreta u povijesti medicine, kada je u pitanju liječenje zaraženih koronavirusom. Međutim, kako prenosi CNN, FDA je jučer izdajla ograničeno odobrenje za upotrebu antimalarika i to isključivo oboljelima koji se liječe u bolnicama.
Izvještaji pokazuju da bi ovi lijekovi mogli ponuditi neku korist u liječenju hospitaliziranih pacijenata s COVID-19, te da korist od njih premašuje rizike. Moći će ih uzimati samo pacijenti koji imaju preko 50 kilograma.
Za sada nema govora da bi se oboljeli od Covid 19, uz antimalarike, mogli liječiti i sumamedom.

Amerika uvjerljivo vodi na crnoj top listi zemalja s najviše zaraženih koronavirusom. Prema podacima stranice Worldometers, koja redovito ažurira podatke o novooboljelima, umrlima i oporavljeni, a selektira ih i prema dobi i zemljama, trenutno u SAD-u ima gotovo 150.000 zaraženih, a najviše ih je pritom u New Yorku. Konkretnije brojke bit će poznate i sigurno još veće do kraja dana, a čak je i do sada iznimno optimistični američki predsjednik Donald Trump odustao od najave da će se sve normalizirati iza Uskrsa...
Amerika broji i oko 2500 umrlih od Covid-19, a u najcrnjem scenariju ta brojka mi mogla rasti i do 200.000, kazao je Trump. Jasno je onda da Amerikanci, kao i cijeli svijet uostalom, žurno traže lijekove koji bi pomogli zaraženima dok se ne nađe cjepivo.
Američka agencija za hranu i lijekove (FDA) izdala je odobrenje za hitnu uporabu klorokinom i hidroksiklorokinom za liječenje pacijenata hospitaliziranih s Covid-19. Riječ je o antimalaricima, ali, kako nam je pojasnio splitski klinički farmakolog dr. Jurica Nazlić, hidroksiklorokin nije samo antimalarik, već je ujedno i lijek koji se koristi u liječenju sistemskog eritemskog lupusa i reumatoidnog artritisa.
Neki dan je, podsjetimo, američki predsjednik Donald Trump objavio kako bi lijekovi hidroksiklorokin i azitromicin (Sumamed) u kombinaciji, mogu postati jedan od najvećih preokreta u povijesti medicine, kada je u pitanju liječenje zaraženih koronavirusom. Međutim, kako prenosi CNN, FDA je jučer izdajla ograničeno odobrenje za upotrebu antimalarika i to isključivo oboljelima koji se liječe u bolnicama.
Izvještaji pokazuju da bi ovi lijekovi mogli ponuditi neku korist u liječenju hospitaliziranih pacijenata s COVID-19, te da korist od njih premašuje rizike. Moći će ih uzimati samo pacijenti koji imaju preko 50 kilograma.
Za sada nema govora da bi se oboljeli od Covid 19, uz antimalarike, mogli liječiti i sumamedom.
