Države zapadnog Balkana, koje su se suočile sa snažnom recesijom zbog pandemije prouzročene koronavirusom, do kraja ove godine mogu očekivati postupni oporavak i gospodarski rast iznad četiri posto, nova je procjena Svjetske banke (WB) objavljena u utorak.

Kako se navodi u analizi WB, Albaniju, Bosnu i Hercegovinu, Crnu Goru, Kosovo, Sjevernu Makedoniju i Srbiju do kraja 2021. očekuje postupni oporavak od šoka koji je donijela pandemija i koji je tijekom prošle godine prouzročio gospodarski pad od 3,4 posto.

Do kraja ove godine projiciran je gospodarski rast od 4,4 posto, no nakon toga se očekuje njegovo ponovno usporavanje na 3,7 posto u 2022. i 2023. i to zbog činjenice da će produžene posljedice pandemije i dalje utjecati na manje investicije i zaposlenost u regiji.

"Opazili smo neke pozitivne trendove u regiji, potaknute brzim djelovanjem mnogih zemalja na ublažavanje najtežih posljedica pandemije, no njene posljedice po zdravlje kao i ekonomska devastacija i dalje će se osjećati", izjavila je Linda Van Gelder, regionalna direktorica WB za zapadni Balkan.

Dodala je kako je, uz nastavak mjera za suzbijanje pandemije poput cijepljenja, nužno poduzeti i dodatne napore kako bi se osnažile politike koje vode gospodarskom rastu.

Svjetska banka podsjeća kako je pandemija zaustavila desetljeća napretka u povećanju zarada i smanjenju siromaštva u svim zemljama zapadnog Balkana, a tržišta rada do sada su nadoknadila tek polovicu gubitaka izazvanih pandemijom, ostavljajući veliki broj nezaposlenih i primoravši mnoge da potpuno napuste tržište rada.

Unatoč činjenici da se stopa nezaposlenosti prije pandemije smanjila s 13,5 posto u 2019. na 12,6 posto u 2020., ukupni gubitak radnih mjesta na zapadnom Balkanu dosegnuo je gotovo 70 tisuća do kraja prošle godine. Pritom je posebno zabrinjavajuća činjenica da je stopa nezaposlenosti među mladima sada čak 33,6 posto.

Države zapadnog Balkana, koje su se suočile sa snažnom recesijom zbog pandemije prouzročene koronavirusom, do kraja ove godine mogu očekivati postupni oporavak i gospodarski rast iznad četiri posto, nova je procjena Svjetske banke (WB) objavljena u utorak.

Kako se navodi u analizi WB, Albaniju, Bosnu i Hercegovinu, Crnu Goru, Kosovo, Sjevernu Makedoniju i Srbiju do kraja 2021. očekuje postupni oporavak od šoka koji je donijela pandemija i koji je tijekom prošle godine prouzročio gospodarski pad od 3,4 posto.

Do kraja ove godine projiciran je gospodarski rast od 4,4 posto, no nakon toga se očekuje njegovo ponovno usporavanje na 3,7 posto u 2022. i 2023. i to zbog činjenice da će produžene posljedice pandemije i dalje utjecati na manje investicije i zaposlenost u regiji.

"Opazili smo neke pozitivne trendove u regiji, potaknute brzim djelovanjem mnogih zemalja na ublažavanje najtežih posljedica pandemije, no njene posljedice po zdravlje kao i ekonomska devastacija i dalje će se osjećati", izjavila je Linda Van Gelder, regionalna direktorica WB za zapadni Balkan.

Dodala je kako je, uz nastavak mjera za suzbijanje pandemije poput cijepljenja, nužno poduzeti i dodatne napore kako bi se osnažile politike koje vode gospodarskom rastu.

Svjetska banka podsjeća kako je pandemija zaustavila desetljeća napretka u povećanju zarada i smanjenju siromaštva u svim zemljama zapadnog Balkana, a tržišta rada do sada su nadoknadila tek polovicu gubitaka izazvanih pandemijom, ostavljajući veliki broj nezaposlenih i primoravši mnoge da potpuno napuste tržište rada.

Unatoč činjenici da se stopa nezaposlenosti prije pandemije smanjila s 13,5 posto u 2019. na 12,6 posto u 2020., ukupni gubitak radnih mjesta na zapadnom Balkanu dosegnuo je gotovo 70 tisuća do kraja prošle godine. Pritom je posebno zabrinjavajuća činjenica da je stopa nezaposlenosti među mladima sada čak 33,6 posto.

Države zapadnog Balkana, koje su se suočile sa snažnom recesijom zbog pandemije prouzročene koronavirusom, do kraja ove godine mogu očekivati postupni oporavak i gospodarski rast iznad četiri posto, nova je procjena Svjetske banke (WB) objavljena u utorak.

Kako se navodi u analizi WB, Albaniju, Bosnu i Hercegovinu, Crnu Goru, Kosovo, Sjevernu Makedoniju i Srbiju do kraja 2021. očekuje postupni oporavak od šoka koji je donijela pandemija i koji je tijekom prošle godine prouzročio gospodarski pad od 3,4 posto.

Do kraja ove godine projiciran je gospodarski rast od 4,4 posto, no nakon toga se očekuje njegovo ponovno usporavanje na 3,7 posto u 2022. i 2023. i to zbog činjenice da će produžene posljedice pandemije i dalje utjecati na manje investicije i zaposlenost u...
