Bosna i Hercegovina može biti građanska država tek kada postane članica Europske unije, rekao je hrvatski predsjednik Zoran Milanović u petak u Mostaru, poručivši da Hrvati u toj zemlji nikada neće postati manjina.
"Mi želimo čitavu i cijelu Bosnu i Hercegovinu u Europskoj uniji. Tek tada ona može postati građanska država. Do tada ona je uređena Daytonom i nastala je na krvi hrvatskih vojnika", rekao je hrvatski predsjednik na svečanoj akademiji u povodu 30. godišnjice osnutka Hrvatskog vijeća obrane (HVO).
Međutim, dodao je kako se u BiH takvi njegovi zagovori na doživljavaju prijateljskim činom.
"Ja nemam predrasude ni prema Srbima koji su bili agresori, ni prema Bošnjacima", rekao je.
Pojasnio je kako su HVO, Hrvatska vojska i Armija BiH bili saveznici u oslobađanju Bosne i Hercegovine te se upitao što se dogodilo da se danas hrvatska strana smatra neprijateljem. Pozvao je pritom današnje bošnjačke političke čelnika da vrate odličje koje je predsjedniku Aliji Izetbegovići dao predsjednik Franjo Tuđman ako HVO i Hrvatsku smatraju zločinačkim.
Milanović je izjavio kako je uloga Hrvatskoga vijeća obrane bila 'sudbinski značajna' za opstanak BiH, te da će Hrvati očuvati ulogu i položaj koje imaju prema Daytonu.
"Hrvati kao najmalobrojniji narod u BiH danas ne želi biti manjina. Hrvatstvo je neiskorjenjivo iz BiH ", istaknuo je.
Kritizirao je preglasavanje Hrvata u Bosni i Hercegovini na izborima navodeći kako se to ne čini s predstavnicima manjinskih naroda u Hrvatskoj.
Ministar branitelja Tomo Medved, koji je sudjelovao na svečanosti kao izaslanik premijera Andreja Plenkovića, izjavio je kako su hrvatski dragovoljci iz BiH te HVO odigrali važnu ulogu u oslobađanju Hrvatske te presudnu u opstanku BiH.
"Slobodne i neovisne BiH ne bi bilo da nije na samom početku rata uspostavljen i ustrojen HVO koji je odigrao prevažnu ulogu u obrani BiH i hrvatskoga naroda", rekao je ministar. Istaknuo je kako će hrvatska vlada nastaviti snažno podupirati Hrvate u BiH u ostvarenju političkih prava s izmjenom Izbornog zakona, te smanjenju napetosti i obnovi savezništva Hrvata i Bošnjaka.
Predsjednik Hrvatskog narodnog sabora BiH Dragan Čović izjavio je kako se danas borba za Hrvate u BiH nastavlja inzistiranjem za ostvaranje jednakopravnosti. Pozvao je na potporu svih institucija Republike Hrvatske
Milanović je posmrtno odlikovao redom kneza Domagoja s ogrlicom za pokazanu osvjedočenu hrabrost u ratu generala Ivu Lozančića, zapovjednika 111 XP brigade iz Žepča. Odličje je preuzela njegova kći Ivana Lozančić.
Redom bana Jelačića za iznimno uspješno zapovijedanje postrojbama HVO-a te za sveukupne zasluge u njihovom ustroju odlikovana su Zborna područja HVO-a Mostar, Tomislavgrad, Vitez i Orašje. Odličja su primili zapovjednik Zbornog područja Mostar Petar Zelenika, zapovjednik Zbornog područja Tomislavgrad, brigadir HVO-a Ivan Tanjić, zapovjednik Zbornog područja Vitez, general HVO-a Filip Filipović i zapovjednik Zbornog područja Orašje, general HVO-a Đuro Matuzović.
Prije svečane akademije hrvatski predsjednik položio je vijenac i zapalio svijeće braniteljima HVO-a koji su poginuli u Domovinskome ratu u BiH kod središnjeg spomenika ispred Hrvatskoga doma hercega Stjepana Kosače. Vijence su položili i ministar Medved, general Krešimir Ćosić koji je bio izaslanik predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora Gordana Jandrokovića, te general bojnik Slaven Zdilar, izaslanik načelnika Glavnog stožera RH viceadmirala Roberta Hranja. Vijenac je položio i izaslanstvo Hrvatskog generalskog zbora.

Bosna i Hercegovina može biti građanska država tek kada postane članica Europske unije, rekao je hrvatski predsjednik Zoran Milanović u petak u Mostaru, poručivši da Hrvati u toj zemlji nikada neće postati manjina.
"Mi želimo čitavu i cijelu Bosnu i Hercegovinu u Europskoj uniji. Tek tada ona može postati građanska država. Do tada ona je uređena Daytonom i nastala je na krvi hrvatskih vojnika", rekao je hrvatski predsjednik na svečanoj akademiji u povodu 30. godišnjice osnutka Hrvatskog vijeća obrane (HVO).
Međutim, dodao je kako se u BiH takvi njegovi zagovori na doživljavaju prijateljskim činom.
"Ja nemam predrasude ni prema Srbima koji su bili agresori, ni prema Bošnjacima", rekao je.
Pojasnio je kako su HVO, Hrvatska vojska i Armija BiH bili saveznici u oslobađanju Bosne i Hercegovine te se upitao što se dogodilo da se danas hrvatska strana smatra neprijateljem. Pozvao je pritom današnje bošnjačke političke čelnika da vrate odličje koje je predsjedniku Aliji Izetbegovići dao predsjednik Franjo Tuđman ako HVO i Hrvatsku smatraju zločinačkim.
Milanović je izjavio kako je uloga Hrvatskoga vijeća obrane bila 'sudbinski značajna' za opstanak BiH, te da će Hrvati očuvati ulogu i položaj koje imaju prema Daytonu.
"Hrvati kao najmalobrojniji narod u BiH danas ne želi biti manjina. Hrvatstvo je neiskorjenjivo iz BiH ", istaknuo je.
Kritizirao je preglasavanje Hrvata u Bosni i Hercegovini na izborima navodeći kako se to ne čini s predstavnicima manjinskih naroda u Hrvatskoj.
Ministar branitelja Tomo Medved, koji je sudjelovao na svečanosti kao izaslanik premijera Andreja Plenkovića, izjavio je kako su hrvatski dragovoljci iz BiH te HVO odigrali važnu ulogu u oslobađanju Hrvatske te presudnu u opstanku BiH.
"Slobodne i neovisne BiH ne bi bilo da nije na samom početku rata uspostavljen i ustrojen HVO koji je odigrao prevažnu ulogu u obrani BiH i hrvatskoga naroda", rekao je ministar. Istaknuo je kako će hrvatska vlada nastaviti snažno podupirati Hrvate u BiH u ostvarenju političkih prava s izmjenom Izbornog zakona, te smanjenju napetosti i obnovi savezništva Hrvata i Bošnjaka.
Predsjednik Hrvatskog narodnog sabora BiH Dragan Čović izjavio je kako se danas borba za Hrvate u BiH nastavlja inzistiranjem za ostvaranje jednakopravnosti. Pozvao je na potporu svih institucija Republike Hrvatske
Milanović je posmrtno odlikovao redom kneza Domagoja s ogrlicom za pokazanu osvjedočenu hrabrost u ratu generala Ivu Lozančića, zapovjednika 111 XP brigade iz Žepča. Odličje je preuzela njegova kći Ivana Lozančić.
Redom bana Jelačića za iznimno uspješno zapovijedanje postrojbama HVO-a te za sveukupne zasluge u njihovom ustroju odlikovana su Zborna područja HVO-a Mostar, Tomislavgrad, Vitez i Orašje. Odličja su primili zapovjednik Zbornog područja Mostar Petar Zelenika, zapovjednik Zbornog područja Tomislavgrad, brigadir HVO-a Ivan Tanjić, zapovjednik Zbornog područja Vitez, general HVO-a Filip Filipović i zapovjednik Zbornog područja Orašje, general HVO-a Đuro Matuzović.
Prije svečane akademije hrvatski predsjednik položio je vijenac i zapalio svijeće braniteljima HVO-a koji su poginuli u Domovinskome ratu u BiH kod središnjeg spomenika ispred Hrvatskoga doma hercega Stjepana Kosače. Vijence su položili i ministar Medved, general Krešimir Ćosić koji je bio izaslanik predsjednika Hrvatskog sabora Gordana Jandrokovića, te general bojnik Slaven Zdilar, izaslanik načelnika Glavnog stožera RH viceadmirala Roberta Hranja. Vijenac je položio i izaslanstvo Hrvatskog generalskog zbora.
