Europska agencija za lijekove u siječnju ove godine odobrila je Pfizerov lijek Paxlovid, a naše Ministarstvo zdravstva u veljači ga je uvrstilo u obvezne smjernice za liječenje oboljelih od koronavirusne bolesti. No, lijek nikada nije stigao u Hrvatsku!

U dokumentu Ministarstva zdravstva od 8. veljače, koji je namijenjen svim liječnicima koji sudjeluju u liječenju bolesnika s covidom-19 u Hrvatskoj, Paxlovid je posebno naveden. 

"Kombinacija nirmatrelvira i ritonavira (Paxlovid) preporučuje se primjenjivati u svrhu liječenja blažih do srednje teških oblika COVID-19,  u pacijenata koji imaju jedan ili više uključujućih medicinskih stanja i/ili dob", stoji u dokumentu Ministarstva zdravstva, objavio je Index.

Imunolog dr. Zlatko Trobonjača za Slobodnu Dalmaciju je potvrdio njegovu učinkovitost.

- On blokira jedan virusni enzim, odnosno glavnu proteazu virusa. Ako se ta proteaza blokira, onemogućuje se daljnja replikacija virusa i njegovo množenje stanica. U primjeni toga lijeka se pokazalo da ga ima smisla davati u prvih pet dana bolesti i do on može kod jednog dijela pacijenata dovesti do lakšeg oblika bolesti ili njezina prekida. Paxlovid ne eliminira potpuno smrtnost ni boravak u jedinicama intenzivnog liječenja, ali smanjuje postotak ljudi s teškim simptomima – ističe Trobonjača, napominjući kako lijek ako se da kasnije, nema takav učinak.

Kako to da lijek, koji je dio obveznih smjernica Ministarstva zdravstva u liječenju Covid bolesnika, nije stigao u Hrvatsku?

Ministar Vili Beroš u subotu je rekao kako je u "tijeku centralizirana nabava antivirusnih lijekova Remdesivir i Paxlovid putem EK" te da u vrlo skoro vrijeme očekuju "obavijest o potpisanom ugovoru kako bi se pristupilo daljnjem postupku nabave".

No, gotovo sve zapadne zemlje izravno su od Pfizera nabavile lijek, ne čekajući da se okonča europska centralizirana nabava, što je prespor proces. Od članica EU-a Paxlovid su, bilateralnim ugovorima s proizvođačem, nabavile Austrija, Francuska, Italija, Njemačka, Belgija, Grčka, Španjolska, Portugal, Irska i Slovenija, kojoj će lijek biti isporučen krajem kolovoza. Ima ga čak i Srbija.  To je mogla učiniti i Hrvatska, no naše Ministarstvo zdravstva još čeka!

Paxlovid, prema istraživanjima, u čak 89 posto slučajeva smanjuje hospitalizaciju i smrtnosti.

U dokumentu Ministarstva zdravstva od 8. veljače, koji je namijenjen svim liječnicima koji sudjeluju u liječenju bolesnika s covidom-19 u Hrvatskoj, Paxlovid je posebno naveden. 

"Kombinacija nirmatrelvira i ritonavira (Paxlovid) preporučuje se primjenjivati u svrhu liječenja blažih do srednje teških oblika COVID-19,  u pacijenata koji imaju jedan ili više uključujućih medicinskih stanja i/ili dob", stoji u dokumentu Ministarstva zdravstva, objavio je Index.

Imunolog dr. Zlatko Trobonjača za Slobodnu Dalmaciju je potvrdio njegovu učinkovitost.

- On blokira jedan virusni enzim, odnosno glavnu proteazu virusa. Ako se ta proteaza blokira, onemogućuje se daljnja replikacija virusa i njegovo množenje stanica. U primjeni toga lijeka se pokazalo da ga ima smisla davati u prvih pet dana bolesti i do on može kod jednog dijela pacijenata dovesti do lakšeg oblika bolesti ili njezina prekida. Paxlovid ne eliminira potpuno smrtnost ni boravak u jedinicama intenzivnog liječenja, ali smanjuje postotak ljudi s teškim simptomima – ističe Trobonjača, napominjući kako lijek ako se da kasnije, nema takav učinak.

Kako to da lijek, koji je dio obveznih smjernica Ministarstva zdravstva u liječenju Covid bolesnika, nije stigao u Hrvatsku?

Ministar Vili Beroš u subotu je rekao kako je u "tijeku centralizirana nabava antivirusnih lijekova Remdesivir i Paxlovid putem EK" te da u vrlo skoro vrijeme očekuju "obavijest o potpisanom ugovoru kako bi se pristupilo daljnjem postupku nabave".

No, gotovo sve zapadne zemlje izravno su od Pfizera nabavile lijek, ne čekajući da se okonča europska centralizirana nabava, što je prespor proces. Od članica EU-a Paxlovid su, bilateralnim ugovorima s proizvođačem, nabavile Austrija, Francuska, Italija, Njemačka, Belgija, Grčka, Španjolska, Portugal, Irska i Slovenija, kojoj će lijek biti isporučen krajem kolovoza. Ima ga čak i Srbija.  To je mogla učiniti i Hrvatska, no naše Ministarstvo zdravstva još čeka!

Paxlovid, prema istraživanjima, u čak 89 posto slučajeva smanjuje hospitalizaciju i smrtnosti.

Europska agencija za lijekove u siječnju ove godine odobrila je Pfizerov lijek Paxlovid, a naše Ministarstvo zdravstva u veljači ga je uvrstilo u obvezne smjernice za liječenje oboljelih od koronavirusne bolesti. No, lijek nikada nije stigao u Hrvatsku!
