Hrvatsko nuklearno društvo na međunarodnoj konferenciji u Dubrovniku od 25. do 29. svibnja predstavit će i prijedlog da se u Hrvatskoj razmotri tzv. nuklearna opcija kojom bi se najkasnije do 2020. izgradila nuklearna elektrana, čime bi se dugoročno riješile rastuće potrebe i nedostatak električne energije u zemlji.

Iako su s tom opcijom upoznati i u HEP-u i u sadašnjoj Vladi, još nije bilo ozbiljnijih i konkretnih razgovora.

Čelnici HND-a smatraju da bi, s obzirom na dugoročnost priprema, s aktivnostima na pripremi te gradnje trebalo početi u najskorije vrijeme.

Za izgradnju nuklearne elektrane u Hrvatskoj snage 1000 megavata trebalo bi oko dvije milijarde američkih dolara, koje bi Hrvatska, kažu u HND-u, mogla “namaknuti” ili kreditima ili osnivanjem međunarodnog konzorcija, što je model po kojem rade mnoge druge zemlje koje su se odlučile za tu opciju.

To je ipak isplativije nego količina novca kojeg će Hrvatska morati potrošiti za uvoz električne energije ako ne izgradi NE, ističu čelnici HND-a.

Hrvatsko nuklearno društvo na međunarodnoj konferenciji u Dubrovniku od 25. do 29. svibnja predstavit će i prijedlog da se u Hrvatskoj razmotri tzv. nuklearna opcija kojom bi se najkasnije do 2020. izgradila nuklearna elektrana, čime bi se dugoročno riješile rastuće potrebe i nedostatak električne energije u zemlji.

Iako su s tom opcijom upoznati i u HEP-u i u sadašnjoj Vladi, još nije bilo ozbiljnijih i konkretnih razgovora.

Čelnici HND-a smatraju da bi, s obzirom na dugoročnost priprema, s aktivnostima na pripremi te gradnje trebalo početi u najskorije vrijeme.

Za izgradnju nuklearne elektrane u Hrvatskoj snage 1000 megavata trebalo bi oko dvije milijarde američkih dolara, koje bi Hrvatska, kažu u HND-u, mogla “namaknuti” ili kreditima ili osnivanjem međunarodnog konzorcija, što je model po kojem rade mnoge druge zemlje koje su se odlučile za tu opciju.

To je ipak isplativije nego količina novca kojeg će Hrvatska morati potrošiti za uvoz električne energije ako ne izgradi NE, ističu čelnici HND-a.
