"Očekujemo teško razdoblje s velikim brojem inficiranih, time i velikim brojem ljudi koji će potražiti liječničku pomoć, što će biti dodatno opterećenje za zdravstveni sustav", rekla je prof. Alemka Markotić, ravnateljica Klinike za infektivne bolesti "Fran Mihaljević", za HRT.

Otkrila je kako je Klinika "Fran Mihaljević" puna već gotovo dva mjeseca.

"Povećava se napetost jer je pritisak sve veći s brojem bolesnika, barem onih koji traže pregled ako nemamo mjesta za hospitalizaciju. Svaki krevet je dragocjen. Činjenica je da dolaze sve teži bolesnici. Osobito je teško u intenzivnoj koja je puna teških bolesnika", rekla je.

Posebno zabrinjava smrt mladih ljudi bez komorbiditeta.

"Kako idemo s većim brojevima, tako se virus brzo širi među mlađom i srednjom populacijom koja je radno aktivna, kreće se, još uvijek nije dovoljno osvijestila da se treba pridržavati svih epidemioloških mjera i da je važno za tu populaciju da se cijepi", rekla je Markotić.

Od idućeg tjedna u Hrvatskoj u državnim i javnim službama kreće primjena COVID potvrda.

"Jasno je da je puno veći rizik kod onih koji su necijepljeni, da će biti inficirani, da će imati veći potencijal širenja bolesti. Niti jedna od mjera neće sama riješiti situaciju, niti COVID potvrde, niti cijepljenje, niti epidemiološke mjere, niti lijekovi, ali sve to zajedno može pomoći i, naravno, disciplina cjelokupnog stanovništva, kakvu vidimo u Danskoj ili Portugalu, može dovesti do toga da brojevi ne budu visoki, a posljedično s time da ne bude puno umrlih i puno teško bolesnih", navodi Markotić.

Jučer je bio rekordan broj cijepljenih u Hrvatskoj, od čega gotovo 17 tisuća ljudi koji su se cijepili prvom dozom. Otkrila je moraju li se svejedno testirati dok im ne prođe 22 dana od prve doze.

"To je izvrsna vijest i nadam se da će biti tri, četiri puta više takvih dnevno, tako da čim prije dođemo do brojeva koji će omogućiti da počne padati ovaj val. Ljudi samim time što su se cijepili taj dan nisu zaštićeni, treba proći barem tri tjedna da se prva zaštita dostigne, a onda i docjepljivanje drugom dozom ako se radi o mRNA cjepivima. Da, za njih će se odnositi sve one mjere dok ne razviju potpunu imunost", pojasnila je Markotić.

EMA je objavila da je odobrila dva lijeka na osnovi protutijela.

"Jako je važno da su ta neutralizacijska antitijela odobrena, time i mogućnost da u ranoj fazi bolest zaustavi ili barem smanji njena težina kod rizičnih osoba, a isto tako oni koji su rizični, a eksponirani virusu, mogu se zaštititi. To su skupi lijekovi, ne mogu se proizvesti u ogromnim količinama da bi bilo dostupno, ali to je izvrsna vijest i mogućnost da se za početak najrizičniji počnu štititi", objašnjava.

Švedska studija koja je proučavala učinkovitost i dugotrajnost cjepiva kazala je da nakon otprilike šest mjeseci zaštita od zaraze ipak slabi. Markotić je rekla kako vjeruje da se radi na daljnjim modifikacijama cjepiva.

"To je respiratorni virus. Nije preveliko iznenađenje da ta imunost ne traje godinama kao za neke druge viruse. S druge strane, s obzirom na to da virus mutira, vjerujem da će proizvođači prilagođavati buduća cjepiva onim varijantama koje će kružiti u populaciji."

Pojedini stručnjaci već upozoravaju na peti i šesti val koronavirusa. Markotić se nada da će ti crni valovi stati, ali naglašava da to ovisi o svima nama.

"Moramo kao zajednica osvijestiti da se moramo što više cijepiti, pored toga pridržavati svih epidemioloških mjera, te cjelokupna znanstvena zajednica treba upotrijebiti sve da dalje razvija lijekove i druge mogućnosti koje će staviti virus pod kontrolu. Određeni optimizam imam. Ovo će biti teška jesen i zima za cijelu Europu, ali to će možda rezultirati velikim brojem onih koji će se cijepiti, a koji to dosad nisu, jedan dio će preboljeti - određena zaštita će biti. Sve prognoze su nezahvalne, ali moramo biti optimisti i vjerovati da ćemo ovome uspjeti stati u kraj", zaključila je Markotić, piše HRT.

"Očekujemo teško razdoblje s velikim brojem inficiranih, time i velikim brojem ljudi koji će potražiti liječničku pomoć, što će biti dodatno opterećenje za zdravstveni sustav", rekla je prof. Alemka Markotić, ravnateljica Klinike za infektivne bolesti "Fran Mihaljević", za HRT.

Otkrila je kako je Klinika "Fran Mihaljević" puna već gotovo dva mjeseca.

"Povećava se napetost jer je pritisak sve veći s brojem bolesnika, barem onih koji traže pregled ako nemamo mjesta za hospitalizaciju. Svaki krevet je dragocjen. Činjenica je da dolaze sve teži bolesnici. Osobito je teško u intenzivnoj koja je puna teških bolesnika", rekla je.

Posebno zabrinjava smrt mladih ljudi bez komorbiditeta.

"Kako idemo s većim brojevima, tako se virus brzo širi među mlađom i srednjom populacijom koja je radno aktivna, kreće se, još uvijek nije dovoljno osvijestila da se treba pridržavati svih epidemioloških mjera i da je važno za tu populaciju da se cijepi", rekla je Markotić.

Od idućeg tjedna u Hrvatskoj u državnim i javnim službama kreće primjena COVID potvrda.

"Jasno je da je puno veći rizik kod onih koji su necijepljeni, da će biti inficirani, da će imati veći potencijal širenja bolesti. Niti jedna od mjera neće sama riješiti situaciju, niti COVID potvrde, niti cijepljenje, niti epidemiološke mjere, niti lijekovi, ali sve to zajedno može pomoći i, naravno, disciplina cjelokupnog stanovništva, kakvu vidimo u Danskoj ili Portugalu, može dovesti do toga da brojevi ne budu visoki, a posljedično s time da ne bude puno umrlih i puno teško bolesnih", navodi Markotić.

Jučer je bio rekordan broj cijepljenih u Hrvatskoj, od čega gotovo 17 tisuća ljudi koji su se cijepili prvom dozom. Otkrila je moraju li se svejedno testirati dok im ne prođe 22 dana od prve doze.

"To je izvrsna vijest i nadam se da će biti tri, četiri puta više takvih dnevno, tako da čim prije dođemo do brojeva koji će omogućiti da počne padati ovaj val. Ljudi samim time što su se cijepili taj dan nisu zaštićeni, treba proći barem tri tjedna da se prva zaštita dostigne, a onda i docjepljivanje drugom dozom ako se radi o mRNA cjepivima. Da, za njih će se odnositi sve one mjere dok ne razviju potpunu imunost", pojasnila je Markotić.

EMA je objavila da je odobrila dva lijeka na osnovi protutijela.

"Jako je važno da su ta neutralizacijska antitijela odobrena, time i mogućnost da u ranoj fazi bolest zaustavi ili barem smanji njena težina kod rizičnih osoba, a isto tako oni koji su rizični, a eksponirani virusu, mogu se zaštititi. To su skupi lijekovi, ne mogu se proizvesti u ogromnim količinama da bi bilo dostupno, ali to je izvrsna vijest i mogućnost da se za početak najrizičniji počnu štititi", objašnjava.

Švedska studija koja je proučavala učinkovitost i dugotrajnost cjepiva kazala je da nakon otprilike šest mjeseci zaštita od zaraze ipak slabi. Markotić je rekla kako vjeruje da se radi na daljnjim modifikacijama cjepiva.

"To je respiratorni virus. Nije preveliko iznenađenje da ta imunost ne traje godinama kao za neke druge viruse. S druge strane, s obzirom na to da virus mutira, vjerujem da će proizvođači prilagođavati buduća cjepiva onim varijantama koje će kružiti u populaciji."

Pojedini stručnjaci već upozoravaju na peti i šesti val koronavirusa. Markotić se nada da će ti crni valovi stati, ali naglašava da to ovisi o svima nama.

"Moramo kao zajednica osvijestiti da se moramo što više cijepiti, pored toga pridržavati svih epidemioloških mjera, te cjelokupna znanstvena zajednica treba upotrijebiti sve da dalje razvija lijekove i druge mogućnosti koje će staviti virus pod kontrolu. Određeni optimizam imam. Ovo će biti teška jesen i zima za cijelu Europu, ali to će možda rezultirati velikim brojem onih koji će se cijepiti, a koji to dosad nisu, jedan dio će preboljeti - određena zaštita će biti. Sve prognoze su nezahvalne, ali moramo biti optimisti i vjerovati da ćemo ovome uspjeti stati u kraj", zaključila je Markotić, piše HRT.

"Očekujemo teško razdoblje s velikim brojem inficiranih, time i velikim brojem ljudi koji će potražiti liječničku pomoć, što će biti dodatno opterećenje za zdravstveni sustav", rekla je prof. Alemka Markotić, ravnateljica Klinike za infektivne bolesti "Fran Mihaljević", za HRT.

Otkrila je kako je Klinika "Fran Mihaljević" puna već gotovo dva mjeseca.

"Povećava se napetost jer je pritisak sve veći s brojem bolesnika, barem onih koji traže pregled ako nemamo mjesta za hospitalizaciju. Svaki krevet je dragocjen. Činjenica je da dolaze sve teži bolesnici. Osobito je teško u intenzivnoj koja je puna teških bolesnika", rekla je.

Posebno zabrinjava smrt mladih ljudi bez komorbiditeta.

"Kako idemo s većim brojevima, tako se virus brzo širi među mlađom i srednjom...
