U Hrvatskoj se pojavila sumnja na prvi slučaj nove varijante koronavirusa. U tijeku je provjera u službenom laboratoriju na prisustvo omikrona kod jednog pacijenta u Zagrebu, potvrdio je HZJZ, a piše Jutarnji list.
Prema informacijama kojima raspolaže Jutarnji list, sumnjivi uzorak uzet je u jednoj zagrebačkoj privatnoj klinici od jednog stranog radnika koji je u Zagrebu bio na stručnom skupu, a prije toga je boravio u Južnoj Africi. Budući da je nalaz PCR-a bio neobičan, klinika je poslala uzorak na daljnju analizu, čiji preliminarni rezultati ukazuju da se radi o omikronu.
Moguću pojavu omikrona i u Hrvatskoj komentirao je epidemiolog Branko Kolarić.
- Mislim da ćemo teško spriječiti širenje nove varijante virusa. Preduvjeti za to bili bi pravovremeno detektiranje zaraženih (sustav rutinskog testiranja trebao bi se prilagoditi tako da detektira omikron varijantu) te efikasno praćenje kontakata, rekao je Branko Kolarić, član Znanstvenog savjeta za borbu protiv pandemije koronavirusa Vlade RH.
- Zbog velikog broja zaraženih i čestog prikrivanja kontakata od strane zaraženih, propušta se dosta ljudi koji bi trebali biti u karanteni i mogu širiti i novu varijantu virusa. Karantenu bi za novu varijantu trebalo produžiti na 14 dana. Dok smo imali manji broj zaraženih, sustav praćenja kontakata je puno bolje kontrolirao epidemiju. Sada možemo samo smanjiti prijenos nove varijante, no u trenutnim okolnostima teško ćemo moći eliminirati prijenos, rekao je.
WHO je danas izvijestio kako je omikron identificiran u 38 država svijeta. Što se tiče europskih zemalja, omikron je već zabilježen u Velikoj Britaniji, Nizozemskoj, Francuskoj, Njemačkoj, Češkoj, Danskoj, Italiji, Austriji, Švicarskoj, Španjolskoj, Portugalu, Švedskoj, Norveškoj, Belgiji i Irskoj.
Za sada nije zabilježen ni jedan smrtni slučaj kod osobe zaražene tom inačicom, objavio je WHO.

U Hrvatskoj se pojavila sumnja na prvi slučaj nove varijante koronavirusa. U tijeku je provjera u službenom laboratoriju na prisustvo omikrona kod jednog pacijenta u Zagrebu, potvrdio je HZJZ, a piše Jutarnji list.
Prema informacijama kojima raspolaže Jutarnji list, sumnjivi uzorak uzet je u jednoj zagrebačkoj privatnoj klinici od jednog stranog radnika koji je u Zagrebu bio na stručnom skupu, a prije toga je boravio u Južnoj Africi. Budući da je nalaz PCR-a bio neobičan, klinika je poslala uzorak na daljnju analizu, čiji preliminarni rezultati ukazuju da se radi o omikronu.
Moguću pojavu omikrona i u Hrvatskoj komentirao je epidemiolog Branko Kolarić.
- Mislim da ćemo teško spriječiti širenje nove varijante virusa. Preduvjeti za to bili bi pravovremeno detektiranje zaraženih (sustav rutinskog testiranja trebao bi se prilagoditi tako da detektira omikron varijantu) te efikasno praćenje kontakata, rekao je Branko Kolarić, član Znanstvenog savjeta za borbu protiv pandemije koronavirusa Vlade RH.
- Zbog velikog broja zaraženih i čestog prikrivanja kontakata od strane zaraženih, propušta se dosta ljudi koji bi trebali biti u karanteni i mogu širiti i novu varijantu virusa. Karantenu bi za novu varijantu trebalo produžiti na 14 dana. Dok smo imali manji broj zaraženih, sustav praćenja kontakata je puno bolje kontrolirao epidemiju. Sada možemo samo smanjiti prijenos nove varijante, no u trenutnim okolnostima teško ćemo moći eliminirati prijenos, rekao je.
WHO je danas izvijestio kako je omikron identificiran u 38 država svijeta. Što se tiče europskih zemalja, omikron je već zabilježen u Velikoj Britaniji, Nizozemskoj, Francuskoj, Njemačkoj, Češkoj, Danskoj, Italiji, Austriji, Švicarskoj, Španjolskoj, Portugalu, Švedskoj, Norveškoj, Belgiji i Irskoj.
Za sada nije zabilježen ni jedan smrtni slučaj kod osobe zaražene tom inačicom, objavio je WHO.
