U pesimističnom scenariju zaokruživanja cijena hrane i pića u eurima doprinos tih cijena rastu ukupne inflacije iznosio bi oko 0,5 postotnih bodova, no zbog konkurencije na tržištu malo je vjerojatno da će svi trgovci sve cijene zaokruživati naviše pa se može očekivati znatno manji porast cijena, procjenjuje se u novom HNBlogu.
Najveća bojazan potrošača povezana s uvođenjem eura odnosi se na mogućnost povećanja cijena, pri čemu se zaokruživanje cijena ističe kao jedan od mogućih razloga, podsjećaju autori HNBloga "Mogući učinci zaokruživanja cijena prehrambenih proizvoda pri uvođenju eura na inflaciju" Ivan Mužić i Andreja Pufnik.
"Doista, pri preračunavanju trenutnih atraktivnih cijena u eure dosad je prevladala namjera da kunske cijene ostanu na atraktivnim razinama. Kad bi trgovci nakon preračunavanja sve cijene prehrambenih proizvoda u eurima povećali na sljedeću atraktivnu razinu, to bi povećalo cijene hrane za 2,2 posto, bezalkoholnih pića za 2,6 posto te cijene alkoholnih pića za 1,8 posto. Doprinos rastu ukupne inflacije zbog zaokruživanja cijena hrane te pića u takvom pesimističnom scenariju iznosio bi oko 0,5 postotnih bodova", navode autori najnovijeg HNBloga.
Ipak, nastavljaju, "zbog konkurencije na tržištu, vrlo je malo vjerojatno da će svi trgovci sve cijene zaokruživati naviše, pa se može očekivati znatno manji porast cijena zbog njihova zaokruživanja na atraktivne razine u eurima u usporedbi s prikazanim pesimističnim scenarijem, na što upućuju i iskustva zemalja koje su već uvele euro".
"Osim toga, trenutno povišena inflacija mogla bi umanjiti potrebu za eventualnim dodatnim povećanjem cijena kako bi dostigle nove atraktivne razine, jer bi se to vrlo vjerojatno moglo postići u okviru redovitih prilagodbi cijena", ističu Mužić i Pufnik.
U blogu podsjećaju da se u praksi razlikuju tri vrste atraktivnih cijena - psihološke cijene (koriste se vjerujući da kupci manje pozornosti pridaju znamenkama iza decimalnog zareza, npr. 9,90 kuna ili 9,99 kuna); frakcijske cijene (one koje pojednostavljuju vraćanje ostatka,(npr. 15,50 ili 6,75 kuna); egzaktne cijene (cijeli brojevi i obično se rabe za veće iznose, npr. 55 ili 120 kuna).
"Raspoloživi podaci potvrđuju da je zaokruživanje cijena na atraktivne razine doista prevladavajuća praksa u domaćim maloprodajnim lancima. Čak 95,7 posto cijena analiziranih prehrambenih proizvoda iz domaćih maloprodajnih lanaca završava znamenkom 9, a dodatnih 2,8 posto cijena završava znamenkom 0, dok na sve ostale završne znamenke (osim 9 i 0) otpada samo 1,5 posto svih cijena. Promatraju li se obje znamenke iza decimalnog zareza, vidljivo je da više od 77,5 posto cijena prehrambenih proizvoda završava znamenkama 99 te još 10 posto znamenkama 49", navode autori bloga.
Iako trgovci od početka rujna cijene iskazuju u kunama i eurima, i nadalje dominira praksa atraktivnog određivanja cijena u kunama, ističu Mužić i Pufnik.
Podsjećaju da je način preračunavanja cijena u eure jasno reguliran, ali i da to ne isključuje mogućnost da trgovci naknadno prilagođavaju cijene iskazane u eurima, kao što su i dosad mijenjali kunske cijene.
"U trenutnom okružju povišene inflacije, cijene bi nove atraktivne razine mogle dostići i bez vidljivog učinka na inflaciju. Trgovci bi cijene mogli određivati na novim atraktivnim razinama u okviru redovitih cjenovnih prilagodbi", procjenjuju Mužić i Pufnik.
Tako je, kako navode, procijenjeni učinak zaokruživanja jednak otprilike mjesecu i pol prosječnog porasta cijena prehrambenih proizvoda zabilježenog u proteklih godinu dana, dok bi cijene za otprilike 80 posto tih proizvoda mogle dostići novu atraktivnu razinu unutar dva mjeseca nastave li rasti nepromijenjenim intenzitetom.
"Trenutno povišena inflacija stoga bi, pomalo paradoksalno, mogla umanjiti potrebu za eventualnim dodatnim povećanjem cijena kako bi dostigle novu atraktivnu razinu", zaključuju autori bloga.

U pesimističnom scenariju zaokruživanja cijena hrane i pića u eurima doprinos tih cijena rastu ukupne inflacije iznosio bi oko 0,5 postotnih bodova, no zbog konkurencije na tržištu malo je vjerojatno da će svi trgovci sve cijene zaokruživati naviše pa se može očekivati znatno manji porast cijena, procjenjuje se u novom HNBlogu.
Najveća bojazan potrošača povezana s uvođenjem eura odnosi se na mogućnost povećanja cijena, pri čemu se zaokruživanje cijena ističe kao jedan od mogućih razloga, podsjećaju autori HNBloga "Mogući učinci zaokruživanja cijena prehrambenih proizvoda pri uvođenju eura na inflaciju" Ivan Mužić i Andreja Pufnik.
"Doista, pri preračunavanju trenutnih atraktivnih cijena u eure dosad je prevladala namjera da kunske cijene ostanu na atraktivnim razinama. Kad bi trgovci nakon preračunavanja sve cijene prehrambenih proizvoda u eurima povećali na sljedeću atraktivnu razinu, to bi povećalo cijene hrane za 2,2 posto, bezalkoholnih pića za 2,6 posto te cijene alkoholnih pića za 1,8 posto. Doprinos rastu ukupne inflacije zbog zaokruživanja cijena hrane te pića u takvom pesimističnom scenariju iznosio bi oko 0,5 postotnih bodova", navode autori najnovijeg HNBloga.
Ipak, nastavljaju, "zbog konkurencije na tržištu, vrlo je malo vjerojatno da će svi trgovci sve cijene zaokruživati naviše, pa se može očekivati znatno manji porast cijena zbog njihova zaokruživanja na atraktivne razine u eurima u usporedbi s prikazanim pesimističnim scenarijem, na što upućuju i iskustva zemalja koje su već uvele euro".
"Osim toga, trenutno povišena inflacija mogla bi umanjiti potrebu za eventualnim dodatnim povećanjem cijena kako bi dostigle nove atraktivne razine, jer bi se to vrlo vjerojatno moglo postići u okviru redovitih prilagodbi cijena", ističu Mužić i Pufnik.
U blogu podsjećaju da se u praksi razlikuju tri vrste atraktivnih cijena - psihološke cijene (koriste se vjerujući da kupci manje pozornosti pridaju znamenkama iza decimalnog zareza, npr. 9,90 kuna ili 9,99 kuna); frakcijske cijene (one koje pojednostavljuju vraćanje ostatka,(npr. 15,50 ili 6,75 kuna); egzaktne cijene (cijeli brojevi i obično se rabe za veće iznose, npr. 55 ili 120 kuna).
"Raspoloživi podaci potvrđuju da je zaokruživanje cijena na atraktivne razine doista prevladavajuća praksa u domaćim maloprodajnim lancima. Čak 95,7 posto cijena analiziranih prehrambenih proizvoda iz domaćih maloprodajnih lanaca završava znamenkom 9, a dodatnih 2,8 posto cijena završava znamenkom 0, dok na sve ostale završne znamenke (osim 9 i 0) otpada samo 1,5 posto svih cijena. Promatraju li se obje znamenke iza decimalnog zareza, vidljivo je da više od 77,5 posto cijena prehrambenih proizvoda završava znamenkama 99 te još 10 posto znamenkama 49", navode autori bloga.
Iako trgovci od početka rujna cijene iskazuju u kunama i eurima, i nadalje dominira praksa atraktivnog određivanja cijena u kunama, ističu Mužić i Pufnik.
Podsjećaju da je način preračunavanja cijena u eure jasno reguliran, ali i da to ne isključuje mogućnost da trgovci naknadno prilagođavaju cijene iskazane u eurima, kao što su i dosad mijenjali kunske cijene.
"U trenutnom okružju povišene inflacije, cijene bi nove atraktivne razine mogle dostići i bez vidljivog učinka na inflaciju. Trgovci bi cijene mogli određivati na novim atraktivnim razinama u okviru redovitih cjenovnih prilagodbi", procjenjuju Mužić i Pufnik.
Tako je, kako navode, procijenjeni učinak zaokruživanja jednak otprilike mjesecu i pol prosječnog porasta cijena prehrambenih proizvoda zabilježenog u proteklih godinu dana, dok bi cijene za otprilike 80 posto tih proizvoda mogle dostići novu atraktivnu razinu unutar dva mjeseca nastave li rasti nepromijenjenim intenzitetom.
"Trenutno povišena inflacija stoga bi, pomalo paradoksalno, mogla umanjiti potrebu za eventualnim dodatnim povećanjem cijena kako bi dostigle novu atraktivnu razinu", zaključuju autori bloga.
