Prvo loša vijest. Jug je u Beograd stigao bez Hrvoja Benića. Nalaz magnetske rezonance desnog ramena pokazao je da se radi o ozbiljnoj ozljedi hrskavice.

Hrvoje je otputovao u Zagreb na dodatne pretrage – objavio je dubrovački klub. Vjeko Kobešćak je u zadnji trenutak mijenjao sastav. Umjesto eprezentativnog braniča na Final 8, završni turnir europske Lige prvaka stigao je Hrvoje Zvono.

Zatim dobra vijest. Jug je prvak Hrvatske. Prekinuo je post bez trofeja u finalu doigravanja. Podigao trofej nakon 668 dana, po 17. put osvojio naslov prvaka Hrvatske, 39. put je državni prvak, a to mu je 66. trofej.

Taj uspjeh ga je nakrcao samopouzdanjem, kao i činjenica da je u finalu doigravanja protiv splitskog Jadrana bio najbolji ove sezone. Istina, Benić je važna karika.

Osam je sudionika završnog turnira. Prvo 2. lipnja od 14.30 sati igraju AN Brescia i WASPO 98 Hannover, dakle, doprvak Italije kontra prvaka Njemačke za kojeg igra Marko Macan. Dva sata poslije Sandro Sukno kontra Elvisa Fatovića, PRO Recco kontra CN Barcelonete, prvak Europe, osvajač europskog Superkupa, pobjednik Kupa Italije i prvak Italije kontra pobjednika španjolskog Superkupa, Kupa Španjolske i prvaka Španjolske. U 18.30 sati suparnici su Novi Beograd i CN Marseille, domaćin Final 8, najbolja srpska momčad, koja je osvojila i Regionalnu ligu kontra najbolje francuske, te od 20.30 sati u vodu uskače Jug Adriatic osiguranje, kojeg čeka Ferencvaros, prvak Mađarske. - Samo razmišljamo o Ferencvarosu – istaknuo je Kobešćak.

Domaćin je složio montažne tribine u svom domu. Igra se u zimskom bazenu gdje je odigrana i završnica Regionalne lige, a gdje se i prošle godine dijelio pokal prvaka. Mjesta na bazenu bit će točno 1.511 sjedala.

- Jedan od najjačih turnira u posljednje vrijeme. Ekipe prilično izjednačene, a izuzetno kvalitetne. Ovaj Final 8 je po snazi u rangu Europskog prvenstva – istaknuo je Denis Šefik, nekadašnji vratar, koji je 2013. godine s Crvenom zvezdom osvojio naslov klupskog prvaka Europe.

Bila je to sezona u kojoj je Jug do finala stigao sa svim pobjedama, pobijedio između ostalog u skupini oba puta Crvenu zvezdu, ali ne i u tom finalu koje je odigrano u Beogradu.

Šefik, koji je imao uspjeha i s reprezentacijom, prvo je igrao za Srbiju i Crnu Goru, zatim nakon razlaza te dvije države za Srbiju, a na kraju i za Crnu Goru, smatra kako najmanje izglede za naslov ima WASPO 98 Hannover, kako je prvi favorit PRO Recco, te kako su po kvaliteti na završnom turniru mogli biti još Olympiacos te splitski Jadran.

- To govori koliko je jaka bila skupina ‘A’ u kojoj su ta dva sastava izgubila bitku s AN Bresciom, Ferencvarosom, Novim Beogradom i CN Barcelonetom – naglasio je Šefik.

Denes Varga je bio na konferenciji za novinare, koja je održana u srijedu s početkom u 14 sati. Na njoj nije bilo WASPO 98 Hannovera i jugaša, koji su doputovali u Beograd koji sat poslije.

- Nismo favoriti. Izgledi su nam podjednaki. Naravno, očekujemo prolaz – naglasio je Varga.

Pohvalio Juga. Zna se što je i tko je Jug. U kapici riječkog Primorja je vodio velike bitke protiv Juga u prvenstvu Hrvatske, Kupu Hrvatske i Regionalnoj ligi. Jug je zadnje polufinale izborio je u Genovi 2018. godine. Godinu poslije je izgubio na startu Final 8 u Hannoveru upravo od “zelenih”, Ferencvarosa, koji je potom otišao do kraja.

 Godinu poslije, 2020., zbog korone se nije igrala završnica, a prošle godine je na startu momčad Vjeka Kobešćaka zaustavljen od AN Brescie u Beogradu. Jug je zadnji put finale igrao 2017. godine (poraz od Szolnoka), a zadnji naslov osvojio 2016. godine kad je preko Egera, PRO Recca i Olympiaciosa podigao po četvrti put u svojoj povijesti kantu prvaka Europe. Prvo loša vijest. Jug je u Beograd stigao bez Hrvoja Benića. Nalaz magnetske rezonance desnog ramena pokazao je da se radi o ozbiljnoj ozljedi hrskavice.

Hrvoje je otputovao u Zagreb na dodatne pretrage – objavio je dubrovački klub. Vjeko Kobešćak je u zadnji trenutak mijenjao sastav. Umjesto eprezentativnog braniča na Final 8, završni turnir europske Lige prvaka stigao je Hrvoje Zvono.

Zatim dobra vijest. Jug je prvak Hrvatske. Prekinuo je post bez trofeja u finalu doigravanja. Podigao trofej nakon 668 dana, po 17. put osvojio naslov prvaka Hrvatske, 39. put je državni prvak, a to mu je 66. trofej.

Taj uspjeh ga je nakrcao samopouzdanjem, kao i činjenica da je u finalu doigravanja protiv splitskog Jadrana bio najbolji ove sezone. Istina, Benić je važna karika.

Osam je sudionika završnog turnira. Prvo 2. lipnja od 14.30 sati igraju AN Brescia i WASPO 98 Hannover, dakle, doprvak Italije kontra prvaka Njemačke za kojeg igra Marko Macan. Dva sata poslije Sandro Sukno kontra Elvisa Fatovića, PRO Recco kontra CN Barcelonete, prvak Europe, osvajač europskog Superkupa, pobjednik Kupa Italije i prvak Italije kontra pobjednika španjolskog Superkupa, Kupa Španjolske i prvaka Španjolske. U 18.30 sati suparnici su Novi Beograd i CN Marseille, domaćin Final 8, najbolja srpska momčad, koja je osvojila i Regionalnu ligu kontra najbolje francuske, te od 20.30 sati u vodu uskače Jug Adriatic osiguranje, kojeg čeka Ferencvaros, prvak Mađarske. Tko bude uspješniji u posljednjem četvrtfinalu dan poslije za finale igra protiv pobjednika PRO Recco – CN Barceloneta

- Samo razmišljamo o Ferencvarosu – istaknuo je Kobešćak.

Domaćin je složio montažne tribine u svom domu. Igra se u zimskom bazenu gdje je odigrana i završnica Regionalne lige, a gdje se i prošle godine dijelio pokal prvaka. Mjesta na bazenu bit će točno 1.511 sjedala.

- Jedan od najjačih turnira u posljednje vrijeme. Ekipe prilično izjednačene, a izuzetno kvalitetne. Ovaj Final 8 je po snazi u rangu Europskog prvenstva – istaknuo je Denis Šefik, nekadašnji vratar, koji je 2013. godine s Crvenom zvezdom osvojio naslov klupskog prvaka Europe.

Bila je to sezona u kojoj je Jug do finala stigao sa svim pobjedama, pobijedio između ostalog u skupini oba puta Crvenu zvezdu, ali ne i u tom finalu koje je odigrano u Beogradu.

Šefik, koji je imao uspjeha i s reprezentacijom, prvo je igrao za Srbiju i Crnu Goru, zatim nakon razlaza te dvije države za Srbiju, a na kraju i za Crnu Goru, smatra kako najmanje izglede za naslov ima WASPO 98 Hannover, kako je prvi favorit PRO Recco, te kako su po kvaliteti na završnom turniru mogli biti još Olympiacos te splitski Jadran.

- To govori koliko je jaka bila skupina ‘A’ u kojoj su ta dva sastava izgubila bitku s AN Bresciom, Ferencvarosom, Novim Beogradom i CN Barcelonetom – naglasio je Šefik.

Denes Varga je bio na konferenciji za novinare, koja je održana u srijedu s početkom u 14 sati. Na njoj nije bilo WASPO 98 Hannovera i jugaša, koji su doputovali u Beograd koji sat poslije.

- Nismo favoriti. Izgledi su nam podjednaki. Naravno, očekujemo prolaz – naglasio je Varga.

Pohvalio Juga. Zna se što je i tko je Jug. U kapici riječkog Primorja je vodio velike bitke protiv Juga u prvenstvu Hrvatske, Kupu Hrvatske i Regionalnoj ligi. Jug je zadnje polufinale izborio je u Genovi 2018. godine. Godinu poslije je izgubio na startu Final 8 u Hannoveru upravo od “zelenih”, Ferencvarosa, koji je potom otišao do kraja.

 Godinu poslije, 2020., zbog korone se nije igrala završnica, a prošle godine je na startu momčad Vjeka Kobešćaka zaustavljen od AN Brescie u Beogradu. Jug je zadnji put finale igrao 2017. godine (poraz od Szolnoka), a zadnji naslov osvojio 2016. godine kad je preko Egera, PRO Recca i Olympiaciosa podigao po četvrti put u svojoj povijesti kantu prvaka Europe. Kad je zadnji put osvojio naslov prvaka završni turnir se igrao baš u ovom terminu, od 2. do 4. lipnja

‘Jugaši‘ kreću u borbu za titulu europskog prvaka: Zvono za uzbunu, u Beogradu bez Benića

Prvo loša vijest. Jug je u Beograd stigao bez Hrvoja Benića. Nalaz magnetske rezonance desnog ramena pokazao je da se radi o ozbiljnoj ozljedi hrskavice.

Hrvoje je otputovao u Zagreb na dodatne pretrage – objavio je dubrovački klub. Vjeko Kobešćak je u zadnji trenutak mijenjao sastav. Umjesto eprezentativnog braniča na Final 8, završni turnir europske Lige prvaka stigao je Hrvoje Zvono.

Zatim dobra vijest. Jug je prvak Hrvatske. Prekinuo je post bez trofeja u finalu doigravanja. Podigao trofej nakon 668 dana, po 17. put osvojio naslov prvaka Hrvatske, 39. put je državni prvak, a to mu je 66. trofej.

Taj uspjeh ga je nakrcao samopouzdanjem, kao i činjenica da je u finalu doigravanja protiv splitskog Jadrana bio najbolji ove sezone. Istina, Benić je važna karika.
