Jugaši su kasnili. Red letenja se nije držao reda. I Ferencvaros je imao istih problema. Ni on nije stigao na konferenciju za novinare, koju je otvorio Renato Živković, direktor LEN-e za vaterpolo. Godinama je Splićanin bio glavni tajnik Hrvatskog vaterpolskog saveza.

Mijenja se sustav natjecanja. Nema više povlaštenih. Nema više domaćin završnog turnira osigurano mjesto na njemu. Ako ga ne izbori, može kupiti ulaznice, te gledat s tribina najbolje. Živković je u najavi zadnjeg Final 8, iduće sezone će opet biti Final 4, naglasio kako kod svih osam sastava živi nada kako će oni u subotu, 3. lipnja, podići u Beogradu pokal prvaka.

Svih osam sastava pak razmišlja samo o prvoj utakmici, četvrtfinalu. Jugaši su deveti put za redom sudionici završnog turnira. Prsti jedne ruke su dovoljni za pokazati koliko ih puta u ovom stoljeću nije bio u završnici, a od 2001. godine do danas su tri puta bili prvaci, te još četiri puta igrali finale.

Zadnjih godina im akcije u završnici ne stoje najbolje. U Beograd su stigli kao četvrti u svojoj skupini, uzeli su to posljednje mjesto koje vodi na Final 8, a u četvrtfinalu ih čeka Barceloneta, najbolji španjolski sastav, koji je ostvario povijesni uspjeh – nikad prije nije osvojio skupinu. Zanimljiv je taj ogled, kojim se otvara Final 8 (15.30 sati). Na klupi Barcelonete je Elvis Fatović, legendarni kapetan Juga čiji je sin Loren danas kapetan dubrovačkog sastava. Taj dvoboj će izostati jer je Fatović slomio prst, te će danas na operaciju prsta.

Zar Jug nije dobio Novi Beograd usred Beograda, potom i splitski Jadran, te osvojio Regionalnu ligu? Zar nije Jug i u skupini europske Lige prvaka osvojio bod protiv Novog Beograda u Beogradu, i u Gružu? Zar nije tri puta dobio splitski Jadran u finalima? I ako se ne varam, u Beogradu je Loren zbog isključenja otpao rano, a Jug se vratio unatoč minusu od 4,5 pogodaka. Jug je pokazao ove sezone sjajne partije, bilo je oscilacija, ali je pokazao u dosta utakmica sjajnu igru zbog čega nam ne pada na pamet misliti kako nas čeka lagan posao – rekao je Fatović.

Ima Jug Tonija Popadića na vratima, ima Konstantinosa Kakarisa u dva metra, ima Marka Žuvelu, ima Mara Jokovića, ima, kaže Elvis Fatović, mlade, koje je Vjeko Kobešćak gurnuo u vatru, a koji su pokazali kako znaju i mogu, kako nemaju straha.

Igra se pod vedrim nebom, na otvorenom. Prognoza za srijedu u Beogradu je kiša, čak i grmljavina. Jug priželjkuje kako će on biti nevrijeme koje će pogoditi Barcelonetu unatoč svim problemima s ozljedama u zadnje vrijeme. I preostala tri para su super zanimljiva. Domaćin Novi Beograd igra protiv Olympiacosa (17 sati), AN Brescia protiv Vouliagmenija (18.30 sati), a PRO Recco, koji brani naslov protiv Ferencvarosa (20 sati).

Prva dva i zadnja dva para se ‘križaju‘ u polufinalu.

Jugaši su kasnili. Red letenja se nije držao reda. I Ferencvaros je imao istih problema. Ni on nije stigao na konferenciju za novinare, koju je otvorio Renato Živković, direktor LEN-e za vaterpolo. Godinama je Splićanin bio glavni tajnik Hrvatskog vaterpolskog saveza.

Mijenja se sustav natjecanja. Nema više povlaštenih. Nema više domaćin završnog turnira osigurano mjesto na njemu. Ako ga ne izbori, može kupiti ulaznice, te gledat s tribina najbolje. Živković je u najavi zadnjeg Final 8, iduće sezone će opet biti Final 4, naglasio kako kod svih osam sastava živi nada kako će oni u subotu, 3. lipnja, podići u Beogradu pokal prvaka.

Svih osam sastava pak razmišlja samo o prvoj utakmici, četvrtfinalu. Jugaši su deveti put za redom sudionici završnog turnira. Prsti jedne ruke su dovoljni za pokazati koliko ih puta u ovom stoljeću nije bio u završnici, a od 2001. godine do danas su tri puta bili prvaci, te još četiri puta igrali finale.

Zadnjih godina im akcije u završnici ne stoje najbolje. U Beograd su stigli kao četvrti u svojoj skupini, uzeli su to posljednje mjesto koje vodi na Final 8, a u četvrtfinalu ih čeka Barceloneta, najbolji španjolski sastav, koji je ostvario povijesni uspjeh – nikad prije nije osvojio skupinu. Zanimljiv je taj ogled, kojim se otvara Final 8 (15.30 sati). Na klupi Barcelonete je Elvis Fatović, legendarni kapetan Juga čiji je sin Loren danas kapetan dubrovačkog sastava. Taj dvoboj će izostati jer je Fatović slomio prst, te će danas na operaciju prsta.

Dubrovčani u beogradskom četvrtfinalu igraju protiv Španjolaca koje vodi legendarni kapetan Juga Elvis Fatović

Jugaši su kasnili. Red letenja se nije držao reda. I Ferencvaros je imao istih problema. Ni on nije stigao na konferenciju za novinare, koju je otvorio Renato Živković, direktor LEN-e za vaterpolo. Godinama je Splićanin bio glavni tajnik Hrvatskog vaterpolskog saveza.

Mijenja se sustav natjecanja. Nema više povlaštenih. Nema više domaćin završnog turnira osigurano mjesto na njemu. Ako ga ne izbori, može kupiti ulaznice, te gledat s tribina najbolje. Živković je u najavi zadnjeg Final 8, iduće sezone će opet biti Final 4, naglasio kako kod svih osam sastava živi nada kako će oni u subotu, 3. lipnja, podići u Beogradu pokal prvaka.

Svih osam sastava pak razmišlja samo o prvoj utakmici, četvrtfinalu. Jugaši su deveti put za redom sudionici završnog turnira. Prsti jedne ruke su dovoljni za pokazati koliko ih puta u ovom stoljeću nije bio u završnici, a od 2001. godine do danas su tri puta bili prvaci, te još četiri puta igrali finale.

Zadnjih godina im akcije u završnici ne stoje najbolje. U Beograd su stigli kao četvrti u svojoj skupini, uzeli su to posljednje mjesto koje vodi na Final 8, a u četvrtfinalu ih čeka Barceloneta, najbolji španjolski sastav, koji je ostvario povijesni uspjeh – nikad prije nije osvojio skupinu. Zanimljiv je taj ogled, kojim se otvara Final 8 (15.30 sati). Na klupi Barcelonete je Elvis Fatović, legendarni kapetan Juga čiji je sin Loren danas kapetan dubrovačkog sastava. Taj dvoboj će izostati jer je Fatović slomio prst, te će danas na operaciju prsta.
