Kada se ostvari velik uspjeh, medalja, trofej, naslov prvaka, pobjednika, kamere i mikrofoni su usmjereni na sportašicu odnosno sportaša. To je logično, shvatljivo. Međutim, iza svakog tog uspjeha nije baš dostatan samo velik talent, pa ni puka količina rada, već stručnost i usmjerenje koje daje trener. U pogledu Petre Marčinko to je Kristijan Schneider (40), mladi i vrlo uspješni teniski stručnjak - pišu Sportske novosti.

Trener koji je doveo Bornu Ćorića do 12. mjesta na ATP ljestvici, strateg koji je vodio i Dubrovkinju Anu Konjuh. Sada stoji iza mlade Zagrepčanke. Zanimao nas je stoga trenerski pogled na Petrin uspjeh. Prvo, je li uopće iznenađujuć?

- U jednoj me mjeri sigurno zadnjih mjeseci iznenadila, ugodno jasno. Očekivao sam da je ona među najboljima, ali ne mogu reći da sam očekivao kako će osvojiti sve ove turnire koje je osvojila zadnjih mjeseci. U tom me pogledu malo iznenadila. Petra jest talentirana djevojka, međutim njezina volja za radom, njezina disciplina, kućni odgoj... To su stvari koje ja volim isticati prikazati kao njezin možda najveći talent. Ona zaista sve ovo što joj se događa, apsolutno zaslužuje.

Negdje na tragu ovog, koliko je Petra zrela, ne samo kao osoba jer je ipak vrlo mlada, ali zrela u sportskom, teniskom pogledu?

- Znate što me veseli? To što ona kao tenisačica ima još jako puno prostora za napredak. Dakle, nije dosegla svoj maksimum, sa 16 godina ima još jako puno prostora i to je ono što me kao trenera veseli. Zato jer će jedino radom ona moći napredovati i postići rezultate kojima teži, a to je prelazak u seniorsku konkurenciju i ulazak u svjetski profesionalni tenis.

Teško je predvidjeti kod ijednog sportaša/ice, pa tako i kod Petre, kako će izgledati taj prelazak u seniorski tenis, ali opet imate određeno iskustvo temeljem kojeg ste pozvani i ovakva predviđanja.

- Imam, prošao sam to s Anom Konjuh. Ove godine ćemo sigurno odigrati ostala tri juniorska Grand Slama, a onda se posvetiti prelasku u profesionalni. To je najteža stepenica, ali vjerujem da Petra ako ostane ovakva kakva je, ukoliko zadrži tu radnu disciplinu i etiku, nastavi li s takvom voljom trenirati, ne sumnjam da će dosegnuti sve one ciljeve koje je postavila pred sebe.

Borba u meču za život

Jako su nezahvalne usporedbe između sportaša, ali ipak... Radili ste dakle s Bornom, s Anom... Gdje je tu, u usporedbi s njima Petra? Je li se po nečemu izdvaja, je li drukčija, nadarenija, brža...? Je li ona u biti borkinja odnosno je li to nešto što je preuzela malo od vas, ono što vi proživljavate osobno?

- Možda je to više pitanje za nju. Ne znam je li i u kojoj mjeri ta moja situacija utječe na nju. Ona je sama po sebi borac i uvijek će takva biti.

Kako bismo čitateljima malo pojasnili, postavit ćemo pitanje koje je intimno, na koje ne morate niti odgovorite ako ne želite i razumjet ćemo to. Kakvo je vaše zdravstveno stanje, bilo je objavljeno već u medijima da se borite sa zloćudnom bolesti, operacije, kemoterapije...

- Moram biti iskren... nažalost, moje zdravstveno stanje nije dobro i ja sam zapravo sretan i zadovoljan što sam uspio doći iz Australije kući... i....

Nije dalje mogao. Oči pune suza. Trenutak kada se gase diktafoni, spremaju olovke u džep. Kraj razgovora. No, vrsnom treneru i znalcu, Kristijanu Schneideru od sveg srca želimo pobjedu u ovom “meču života”, da dovede Petru još daleko i visoko i u seniorskom tenisu, pa da ovakvih pobjedničkih dočeka u Zagrebu bude još na desetine i desetine.

Kada se ostvari velik uspjeh, medalja, trofej, naslov prvaka, pobjednika, kamere i mikrofoni su usmjereni na sportašicu odnosno sportaša. To je logično, shvatljivo. Međutim, iza svakog tog uspjeha nije baš dostatan samo velik talent, pa ni puka količina rada, već stručnost i usmjerenje koje daje trener. U pogledu Petre Marčinko to je Kristijan Schneider (40), mladi i vrlo uspješni teniski stručnjak - pišu Sportske novosti.

Trener koji je doveo Bornu Ćorića do 12. mjesta na ATP ljestvici, strateg koji je vodio i Dubrovkinju Anu Konjuh. Sada stoji iza mlade Zagrepčanke. Zanimao nas je stoga trenerski pogled na Petrin uspjeh. Prvo, je li uopće iznenađujuć?

- U jednoj me mjeri sigurno zadnjih mjeseci iznenadila, ugodno jasno. Očekivao sam da je ona među najboljima, ali ne mogu reći da sam očekivao kako će osvojiti sve ove turnire koje je osvojila zadnjih mjeseci. U tom me pogledu malo iznenadila. Petra jest talentirana djevojka, međutim njezina volja za radom, njezina disciplina, kućni odgoj... To su stvari koje ja volim isticati prikazati kao njezin možda najveći talent. Ona zaista sve ovo što joj se događa, apsolutno zaslužuje.

Negdje na tragu ovog, koliko je Petra zrela, ne samo kao osoba jer je ipak vrlo mlada, ali zrela u sportskom, teniskom pogledu?

- Znate što me veseli? To što ona kao tenisačica ima još jako puno prostora za napredak. Dakle, nije dosegla svoj maksimum, sa 16 godina ima još jako puno prostora i to je ono što me kao trenera veseli. Zato jer će jedino radom ona moći napredovati i postići rezultate kojima teži, a to je prelazak u seniorsku konkurenciju i ulazak u svjetski profesionalni tenis.

Teško je predvidjeti kod ijednog sportaša/ice, pa tako i kod Petre, kako će izgledati taj prelazak u seniorski tenis, ali opet imate određeno iskustvo temeljem kojeg ste pozvani i ovakva predviđanja.

- Imam, prošao sam to s Anom Konjuh. Ove godine ćemo sigurno odigrati ostala tri juniorska Grand Slama, a onda se posvetiti prelasku u profesionalni. To je najteža stepenica, ali vjerujem da Petra ako ostane ovakva kakva je, ukoliko zadrži tu radnu disciplinu i etiku, nastavi li s takvom voljom trenirati, ne sumnjam da će dosegnuti sve one ciljeve koje je postavila pred sebe.

Borba u meču za život

Jako su nezahvalne usporedbe između sportaša, ali ipak... Radili ste dakle s Bornom, s Anom... Gdje je tu, u usporedbi s njima Petra? Je li se po nečemu izdvaja, je li drukčija, nadarenija, brža...? Je li ona u biti borkinja odnosno je li to nešto što je preuzela malo od vas, ono što vi proživljavate osobno?

- Možda je to više pitanje za nju. Ne znam je li i u kojoj mjeri ta moja situacija utječe na nju. Ona je sama po sebi borac i uvijek će takva biti.

Kako bismo čitateljima malo pojasnili, postavit ćemo pitanje koje je intimno, na koje ne morate niti odgovorite ako ne želite i razumjet ćemo to. Kakvo je vaše zdravstveno stanje, bilo je objavljeno već u medijima da se borite sa zloćudnom bolesti, operacije, kemoterapije...

- Moram biti iskren... nažalost, moje zdravstveno stanje nije dobro i ja sam zapravo sretan i zadovoljan što sam uspio doći iz Australije kući... i....

Nije dalje mogao. Oči pune suza. Trenutak kada se gase diktafoni, spremaju olovke u džep. Kraj razgovora. No, vrsnom treneru i znalcu, Kristijanu Schneideru od sveg srca želimo pobjedu u ovom “meču života”, da dovede Petru još daleko i visoko i u seniorskom tenisu, pa da ovakvih pobjedničkih dočeka u Zagrebu bude još na desetine i desetine.

Kada se ostvari velik uspjeh, medalja, trofej, naslov prvaka, pobjednika, kamere i mikrofoni su usmjereni na sportašicu odnosno sportaša. To je logično, shvatljivo. Međutim, iza svakog tog uspjeha nije baš dostatan samo velik talent, pa ni puka količina rada, već stručnost i usmjerenje koje daje trener. U pogledu Petre Marčinko to je Kristijan Schneider (40), mladi i vrlo uspješni teniski stručnjak - pišu Sportske novosti.

Trener koji je doveo Bornu Ćorića do 12. mjesta na ATP ljestvici, strateg koji je vodio i Dubrovkinju Anu Konjuh. Sada stoji iza mlade Zagrepčanke. Zanimao nas je stoga trenerski pogled na Petrin uspjeh. Prvo, je li uopće iznenađujuć?
