U pet mjeseci nakon izlaska iz zatvora, u kojem je završio zbog porezne prijevare teške oko 2,5 milijuna funti, Boris Becker (55) pažljivo je birao medije kojima će ispričati svoje iskustvo. Zbog toga je odjeknuo njegov najnoviji intervju za Guardian, u kojem se Nijemac dotaknuo svoje nove svakodnevice i teniskih aktualnosti, a progovorio je i o borbi Novaka Đokovića da se zadrži na teniskom tronu, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Znam da me to morate pitati. Ponovno živim dobar život - odgovorio je Becker na pitanje o svojem iskustvu u kaznenoj ustanovi Huntercombe.

Ranije je govorio da se za vrijeme boravka suočio s dvije prijetnje smrću, od kojih je jedna bila "naročito ozbiljna", a sada je otkrio da su mu čuvari omogućili jedan privilegij. Gledao je finale Wimbledona u kojem je njegov bivši pulen Đoković podigao svoj sedmi trofej u All England Clubu.

- Bio sam jako emotivan kad se to dogodilo. Bio je to fantastičan podvig, a budući da se radi o mojem prijatelju, veoma me razveselio.

Na pitanje što će se sad događati s Đokovićem, koji u zemljanoj sezoni nije briljirao i pao je na treće mjesto ATP ljestvice, Becker je odgovorio:

- Bilo bi ga glupo otpisivati. Zemlja nije njegova najbolja podloga, ali u zadnjih nekoliko godina uspio je uloviti formu baš za Roland Garros. Sve dok je zdrav i dok želi igrati, uvijek će biti jedan od favorita za osvajanje Grand Slama.

Dodao je da Đoković i dalje ne dobiva "svu ljubav i poštovanje koje bi trebao dobiti kao igrač i osoba".

- On je vrlo otvoren, razgovorljiv čovjek koji ponekad djeluje kao teniski stroj. No kad nije na terenu, prilično je šarmantan. S njime možete razgovarati o poslu, politici, glazbi, dobar je dečko. Također je i pravi teniski povjesničar. Shvaća tko je bio ovdje prije njega i želi ostaviti svoj trag. To je već i učinio. Uza sve to je i perfekcionist, kao uostalom i sve superzvijezde. Želi odigrati savršen meč, što se možda dogodilo jednom ili dvaput u njegovoj karijeri - zaključio je Boris Becker.

U pet mjeseci nakon izlaska iz zatvora, u kojem je završio zbog porezne prijevare teške oko 2,5 milijuna funti, Boris Becker (55) pažljivo je birao medije kojima će ispričati svoje iskustvo. Zbog toga je odjeknuo njegov najnoviji intervju za Guardian, u kojem se Nijemac dotaknuo svoje nove svakodnevice i teniskih aktualnosti, a progovorio je i o borbi Novaka Đokovića da se zadrži na teniskom tronu, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Znam da me to morate pitati. Ponovno živim dobar život - odgovorio je Becker na pitanje o svojem iskustvu u kaznenoj ustanovi Huntercombe.

Ranije je govorio da se za vrijeme boravka suočio s dvije prijetnje smrću, od kojih je jedna bila "naročito ozbiljna", a sada je otkrio da su mu čuvari omogućili jedan privilegij. Gledao je finale Wimbledona u kojem je njegov bivši pulen Đoković podigao svoj sedmi trofej u All England Clubu.

- Bio sam jako emotivan kad se to dogodilo. Bio je to fantastičan podvig, a budući da se radi o mojem prijatelju, veoma me razveselio.

Na pitanje što će se sad događati s Đokovićem, koji u zemljanoj sezoni nije briljirao i pao je na treće mjesto ATP ljestvice, Becker je odgovorio:

- Bilo bi ga glupo otpisivati. Zemlja nije njegova najbolja podloga, ali u zadnjih nekoliko godina uspio je uloviti formu baš za Roland Garros. Sve dok je zdrav i dok želi igrati, uvijek će biti jedan od favorita za osvajanje Grand Slama.

Dodao je da Đoković i dalje ne dobiva "svu ljubav i poštovanje koje bi trebao dobiti kao igrač i osoba".

- On je vrlo otvoren, razgovorljiv čovjek koji ponekad djeluje kao teniski stroj. No kad nije na terenu, prilično je šarmantan. S njime možete razgovarati o poslu, politici, glazbi, dobar je dečko. Također je i pravi teniski povjesničar. Shvaća tko je bio ovdje prije njega i želi ostaviti svoj trag. To je već i učinio. Uza sve to je i perfekcionist, kao uostalom i sve superzvijezde. Želi odigrati savršen meč, što se možda dogodilo jednom ili dvaput u njegovoj karijeri - zaključio je Boris Becker.

U pet mjeseci nakon izlaska iz zatvora, u kojem je završio zbog porezne prijevare teške oko 2,5 milijuna funti, Boris Becker (55) pažljivo je birao medije kojima će ispričati svoje iskustvo. Zbog toga je odjeknuo njegov najnoviji intervju za Guardian, u kojem se Nijemac dotaknuo svoje nove svakodnevice i teniskih aktualnosti, a progovorio je i o borbi Novaka Đokovića da se zadrži na teniskom tronu, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Znam da me to morate pitati. Ponovno živim dobar život - odgovorio je Becker na pitanje o svojem iskustvu u kaznenoj ustanovi Huntercombe.

Ranije je govorio da se za vrijeme boravka suočio s dvije prijetnje smrću, od kojih je jedna bila "naročito ozbiljna", a sada je otkrio da su mu čuvari omogućili jedan privilegij. Gledao je finale Wimbledona u kojem je njegov bivši pulen Đoković podigao svoj sedmi trofej u All England Clubu.

- Bio sam jako emotivan kad se to dogodilo. Bio je to fantastičan podvig, a budući da se radi o mojem prijatelju, veoma me razveselio.

Na pitanje što će se sad događati s Đokovićem, koji u zemljanoj sezoni nije briljirao i pao je na treće mjesto ATP ljestvice, Becker je odgovorio:

- Bilo bi ga glupo otpisivati. Zemlja nije njegova najbolja podloga, ali u zadnjih nekoliko godina uspio je uloviti formu baš za Roland Garros. Sve dok je zdrav i dok želi igrati, uvijek će biti jedan od favorita za osvajanje Grand Slama.

Dodao je da Đoković i dalje ne dobiva "svu ljubav i poštovanje koje bi trebao dobiti kao igrač i osoba".

- On je vrlo otvoren, razgovorljiv čovjek koji ponekad djeluje kao teniski stroj. No kad nije na terenu, prilično je šarmantan. S njime možete razgovarati o poslu, politici, glazbi, dobar je dečko. Također je i pravi teniski povjesničar. Shvaća tko je bio ovdje prije njega i želi ostaviti svoj trag. To je već i učinio. Uza sve to je i perfekcionist, kao uostalom i sve superzvijezde. Želi odigrati savršen meč, što se možda dogodilo jednom ili dvaput u njegovoj karijeri - zaključio je Boris Becker.
