Hrvatski tenisač Nikola Mektić već duže vremena niže svjetski uspjeh za uspjehom, a onaj posljednji i jedan od najvećih je prvo mjesto na svjetskoj ATP ljestvici parova.

Mektić je tako postao drugi Hrvat u povijesti kojem je ovo pošlo za rukom. Nakon uspjeha karijere otkrio je što mu je pomoglo na putu do prvog mjesta, što bi još volio ostvariti te izazove koji ga očekuju u narednom razdoblju.

- Drago mi je što sam ovo postigao upravo u ovakvo uspješnoj sezoni u kojoj sam već ostvario nekoliko povijesnih rezultata. Veseli me što će broj 1 zauvijek biti zapisan pored mog rankinga karijere, ipak je vizualno ljepše nego broj dva. U stvarnosti to i nije velika razlika budući sam u paru s još jednim Hrvatom, a dokle god smo prvi kao tim nije toliko bitno tko je prvi, a tko drugi - rekao je Nikola Mektić te dodaje kako njegov igrački partner i dosadašnji broj 1 ATP ljestvice Mate Pavić komentira njegov uspjeh:

- Mate je sretan što smo na kratko zamijenili mjesta upravo zbog te neke povijesti, no obojici nam je važnije da držimo prvo mjesto kao tim.

Mektić i Pavić suradnju su započeli početkom 2021. godine, a zajedno su osvojili čak devet naslova poput zlata na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju, tri Masters turnira, Wimbledona... Nikola je tako u protekloj godini osvojio gotovo sve što se osvojiti dalo, a na putu do svjetskih uspjeha vodili su ga ljubav prema tenisu, talent i stalna želja za napretkom.

- Volio bih ponoviti većinu toga. Mislim da imamo veliku kvalitetu. Imamo želju. Relativno smo još mladi za parove i ako nas zdravlje posluži mislim da možemo postići još ovakvi rezultata - otkriva Nikola.

Ovog teniskog majstora u narednom razdoblju očekuju još turniri u Beču, Parizu te završni ATP Masters parova u Torinu na kojem su Mektić i Pavić već ranije osigurali svoje mjesto.

- Želimo završiti godinu uspješno i sa stilom. Jako smo motivirani do samog kraja - zaključio je Nikola Mektić.

Hrvatski tenisač Nikola Mektić već duže vremena niže svjetski uspjeh za uspjehom, a onaj posljednji i jedan od najvećih je prvo mjesto na svjetskoj ATP ljestvici parova.

Mektić je tako postao drugi Hrvat u povijesti kojem je ovo pošlo za rukom. Nakon uspjeha karijere otkrio je što mu je pomoglo na putu do prvog mjesta, što bi još volio ostvariti te izazove koji ga očekuju u narednom razdoblju.

- Drago mi je što sam ovo postigao upravo u ovakvo uspješnoj sezoni u kojoj sam već ostvario nekoliko povijesnih rezultata. Veseli me što će broj 1 zauvijek biti zapisan pored mog rankinga karijere, ipak je vizualno ljepše nego broj dva. U stvarnosti to i nije velika razlika budući sam u paru s još jednim Hrvatom, a dokle god smo prvi kao tim nije toliko bitno tko je prvi, a tko drugi - rekao je Nikola Mektić te dodaje kako njegov igrački partner i dosadašnji broj 1 ATP ljestvice Mate Pavić komentira njegov uspjeh:

- Mate je sretan što smo na kratko zamijenili mjesta upravo zbog te neke povijesti, no obojici nam je važnije da držimo prvo mjesto kao tim.

Mektić i Pavić suradnju su započeli početkom 2021. godine, a zajedno su osvojili čak devet naslova poput zlata na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju, tri Masters turnira, Wimbledona... Nikola je tako u protekloj godini osvojio gotovo sve što se osvojiti dalo, a na putu do svjetskih uspjeha vodili su ga ljubav prema tenisu, talent i stalna želja za napretkom.

- Volio bih ponoviti većinu toga. Mislim da imamo veliku kvalitetu. Imamo želju. Relativno smo još mladi za parove i ako nas zdravlje posluži mislim da možemo postići još ovakvi rezultata - otkriva Nikola.

Ovog teniskog majstora u narednom razdoblju očekuju još turniri u Beču, Parizu te završni ATP Masters parova u Torinu na kojem su Mektić i Pavić već ranije osigurali svoje mjesto.

- Želimo završiti godinu uspješno i sa stilom. Jako smo motivirani do samog kraja - zaključio je Nikola Mektić.

Hrvatski tenisač Nikola Mektić već duže vremena niže svjetski uspjeh za uspjehom, a onaj posljednji i jedan od najvećih je prvo mjesto na svjetskoj ATP ljestvici parova.

Mektić je tako postao drugi Hrvat u povijesti kojem je ovo pošlo za rukom. Nakon uspjeha karijere otkrio je što mu je pomoglo na putu do prvog mjesta, što bi još volio ostvariti te izazove koji ga očekuju u narednom razdoblju.

- Drago mi je što sam ovo postigao upravo u ovakvo uspješnoj sezoni u kojoj sam već ostvario nekoliko povijesnih rezultata. Veseli me što će broj 1 zauvijek biti zapisan pored mog rankinga karijere, ipak je vizualno ljepše nego broj dva. U stvarnosti to i nije velika razlika budući sam u paru s još jednim Hrvatom, a dokle god smo prvi kao tim nije toliko bitno tko je prvi, a tko...
