Plaže su bile prilično puste, tek su se izdvojeni pojedinci okuražili na kupanje. Povremena kiša, uz grmljavinu, odjenula je ruho partybreakera u utorak ujutro u Umagu, dok su se djeca spremala na druženje s Dominicom Thiemom, koje je potom odgođeno zbog neadekvatnih vremenskih uvjeta.

Ipak, jutro nakon Čilićevog oproštaja od Plava Laguna Croatia Opena, bacili smo "mingle" kroz tenisko selo i nismo požalili. S obzirom na to kako je promjenjivo vrijeme ispraznilo plaže, entuzijasti su kupaće kostime i natikače zamijenili sportskom odjećom i tenisicama, dok su neki pedantniji imali i kišobran u ruci, a svi su oni krenuli u nadobudnu potragu za zvijezdama u blizini stadiona Gorana Ivaniševića. Konačni ulov teško da je mogao biti bolji. Iza, "Ivaniševića", centralnog terena čije tribine primaju oko četiri tisuće gledatelja, na terenu je bio - Ivanišević, pišu Sportske novosti.

- Je li to njegov mali? - dolazio je šušur s terena broj tri, smještenog u zaleđu stadiona.

I bio je. Njegov "mali". Emanuel Ivanišević, koji je u siječnju osvojio prvenstvo Hrvatske u kategoriji do 16 godina, marljivo je trenirao s ocem, a sparing partner bio mu je Puljanin Leonardo Tanger, još jedan mladić, koji Emanuela poznaje već nekoliko godina, kako nam je rekao po završetku treninga. Pobjednik Wimbledona iz 2001. stao je na mrežu i počeo slati loptice u stranu, dok je sin lansirao "bombe" u blizini linija.

- Nogama, nogama - upozoravao je Goran nasljednika prilikom udaraca.

- Tako je, to, to, bravo - hvalio ga je otac.

Bacao je Goran u početku, predvidljivo, lopte prvo u lijevu stranu, a zatim i u desnu. Međutim, onda je presjekao u pozitivnom tonu.

- Pazi sad, sad ide zadnjih deset, bacam gdje ja hoću - onda je i počelo.

Nisu to bili snažni Goranovi udarci, tek toliko da prebaci mrežu, međutim nekoliko je puta loptu poslao ne gledajući prema sinu, nego u stranu, servirajući tako mali show i "no look" udarce, a oko terena okupilo se otprilike 50 zainteresiranih promatrača.

Nakon treninga, Goran je, kao i svih ovih dana u Istri, morao proći kroz špalir djece, koja su strpljivo čekala prepoznatljivim s teniskim lopticama u XL veličini, stvorenim za autograme, što nije bio nikakav problem za bivšeg tenisača. Kao ni fotografija, strpljivo je pozirao sa svima i ispunio želju svakom od njih, iako se većina njih nije ni rodila kada je režirao spektakl u All England Clubu prije 22 godine, pišu Sportske novosti.

No, među okupljenima bilo je i odraslih. Miješali su se razni jezici, poglavito turista, a nama su za oko zapela dva gospodina.

- Uvijek sam ga gledao, uvijek. Pratim ga od mladosti. Wimbledon 2001.? Uf, bilo je uzbudljivo. Uzeo nam je puno živaca kada je igrao finale s Rafterom. Djeluje sada malo drugačije, raste s godinama, inteligentan je trener - priča nam Igor (60) iz Postojne u Sloveniji, a nadovezuje se Savo (63).

- Tenis nam je velika ljubav, a Goran je bio poseban tip igrača. Sada je u drugoj ulozi, što je neusporedivo. Djeluje jako inteligentno, onako, baš "trenerski", a trenirati sina uvijek je odgovoran posao. Simpatičan je, dobar čovjek - pričaju nam Slovenci, koji na turnir dolaze tradicionalno, gotovo svake godine.

Iako ih se posebno dojmio Goranov trenerski stil, riječi hvale imali su i za Emanuela.

- Dobar je, dobar. Velika perspektiva. Treba mu još malo vremena, ima mjesta za napredak, što je i normalno, ali bit će dobar - komentirali su simpatični "susjedi".

Što se tiče središnjeg događaja u Umagu, bili su pomalo skeptični prema razvikanim imenima, smatrajući kako će turnir dobiti novog pobjednika, jednog od igrača čije vrijeme tek dolazi u budućnosti.

- Favorit? Neki mladi igrač bi mogao otići do kraja. Čeh, Lehečka, on je prvi nositelj i u velikoj je formi, u naletu. To mu je sad prilika za dalje, odskočna daska za dolazak blizu društva najboljih 20 tenisača - zaključili su naši sugovornici.

Plaže su bile prilično puste, tek su se izdvojeni pojedinci okuražili na kupanje. Povremena kiša, uz grmljavinu, odjenula je ruho partybreakera u utorak ujutro u Umagu, dok su se djeca spremala na druženje s Dominicom Thiemom, koje je potom odgođeno zbog neadekvatnih vremenskih uvjeta.

Ipak, jutro nakon Čilićevog oproštaja od Plava Laguna Croatia Opena, bacili smo "mingle" kroz tenisko selo i nismo požalili. S obzirom na to kako je promjenjivo vrijeme ispraznilo plaže, entuzijasti su kupaće kostime i natikače zamijenili sportskom odjećom i tenisicama, dok su neki pedantniji imali i kišobran u ruci, a svi su oni krenuli u nadobudnu potragu za zvijezdama u blizini stadiona Gorana Ivaniševića. I bio je. Njegov "mali". Emanuel Ivanišević, koji je u siječnju osvojio prvenstvo Hrvatske u kategoriji do 16 godina, marljivo je trenirao s ocem, a sparing partner bio mu je Puljanin Leonardo Tanger, još jedan mladić, koji Emanuela poznaje već nekoliko godina, kako nam je rekao po završetku treninga. Pobjednik Wimbledona iz 2001. stao je na mrežu i počeo slati loptice u stranu, dok je sin lansirao "bombe" u blizini linija.

- Nogama, nogama - upozoravao je Goran nasljednika prilikom udaraca.

- Tako je, to, to, bravo - hvalio ga je otac.

Bacao je Goran u početku, predvidljivo, lopte prvo u lijevu stranu, a zatim i u desnu. Međutim, onda je presjekao u pozitivnom tonu.

- Pazi sad, sad ide zadnjih deset, bacam gdje ja hoću - onda je i počelo.

Nisu to bili snažni Goranovi udarci, tek toliko da prebaci mrežu, međutim nekoliko je puta loptu poslao ne gledajući prema sinu, nego u stranu, servirajući tako mali show i "no look" udarce, a oko terena okupilo se otprilike 50 zainteresiranih promatrača.

Nakon treninga, Goran je, kao i svih ovih dana u Istri, morao proći kroz špalir djece, koja su strpljivo čekala prepoznatljivim s teniskim lopticama u XL veličini, stvorenim za autograme, što nije bio nikakav problem za bivšeg tenisača. Kao ni fotografija, strpljivo je pozirao sa svima i ispunio želju svakom od njih, iako se većina njih nije ni rodila kada je režirao spektakl u All England Clubu prije 22 godine, pišu Sportske novosti.

No, među okupljenima bilo je i odraslih. Miješali su se razni jezici, poglavito turista, a nama su za oko zapela dva gospodina.

- Uvijek sam ga gledao, uvijek. Pratim ga od mladosti. Wimbledon 2001.? Uf, bilo je uzbudljivo. Uzeo nam je puno živaca kada je igrao finale s Rafterom. Djeluje sada malo drugačije, raste s godinama, inteligentan je trener - priča nam Igor (60) iz Postojne u Sloveniji, a nadovezuje se Savo (63).

- Tenis nam je velika ljubav, a Goran je bio poseban tip igrača. Sada je u drugoj ulozi, što je neusporedivo. Djeluje jako inteligentno, onako, baš "trenerski", a trenirati sina uvijek je odgovoran posao. Simpatičan je, dobar čovjek - pričaju nam Slovenci, koji na turnir dolaze tradicionalno, gotovo svake godine.

Iako ih se posebno dojmio Goranov trenerski stil, riječi hvale imali su i za Emanuela.

- Dobar je, dobar. Velika perspektiva. Treba mu još malo vremena, ima mjesta za napredak, što je i normalno, ali bit će dobar - komentirali su simpatični "susjedi".

Što se tiče središnjeg događaja u Umagu, bili su pomalo skeptični prema razvikanim imenima, smatrajući kako će turnir dobiti novog pobjednika, jednog od igrača čije vrijeme tek dolazi u budućnosti.

- Favorit? Neki mladi igrač bi mogao otići do kraja. Čeh, Lehečka, on je prvi nositelj i u velikoj je formi, u naletu. To mu je sad prilika za dalje, odskočna daska za dolazak blizu društva najboljih 20 tenisača - zaključili su naši sugovornici.

Plaže su bile prilično puste, tek su se izdvojeni pojedinci okuražili na kupanje. Povremena kiša, uz grmljavinu, odjenula je ruho partybreakera u utorak ujutro u Umagu, dok su se djeca spremala na druženje s Dominicom Thiemom, koje je potom odgođeno zbog neadekvatnih vremenskih uvjeta.

Ipak, jutro nakon Čilićevog oproštaja od Plava Laguna Croatia Opena, bacili smo "mingle" kroz tenisko selo i nismo požalili. S obzirom na to kako je promjenjivo vrijeme ispraznilo plaže, entuzijasti su kupaće kostime i natikače zamijenili sportskom odjećom i tenisicama, dok su neki pedantniji imali i kišobran u ruci, a svi su oni krenuli u nadobudnu potragu za zvijezdama u blizini stadiona Gorana Ivaniševića.
