Predsjednik novoosnovane nogometne Superlige, Florentino Perez (74), rekao je u ponedjeljak kasno navečer da se igrači koji će nastupiti u tom natjecanju ne trebaju bojati nikakvih prijetnji iz krovnih organizacija UEFA-e i FIFA-e te da će moći igrati za reprezentacije svojih država.

"Nogometaši mogu biti potpuno mirni. Ne boje se niti su nas pitali o tome, barem nisu mene", istaknuo je Perez u ponoć tijekom gostovanja u nogometnom programu na španjolskoj televiziji La Sexta.

Nakon što je 12 bogatih klubova iz Španjolske, Engleske i Italije dogovorilo osnivanje vlastite lige s 20 momčadi, europska krovna organizacija UEFA poručila je da igrači koji nastupe na tom natjecanju neće moći igrati za reprezentacije svojih zemalja na Europskom i Svjetskom prvenstvu.

Neki hrvatski mediji nagađali su da bi Hrvatska mogla ostati bez igrača poput Luke Modrića i Matea Kovačića za dva mjeseca na Europskom prvenstvu, premda Superliga dotad neće ni početi pa tako niti potencijalne sankcije.

"To se neće dogoditi. Tu konfuziju stvaraju oni koji drže monopol nad nogometom. Naravno da je UEFA monopolist. Ona treba biti transparentna, nije imala dobar imidž tijekom povijesti, ne želim spominjati stvari...", rekao je Perez misleći na korupciju.

"Ne trebaju nikome prijetiti jer ne radimo ništa loše. Po našem mišljenju, njihov format natjecanja ne funkcionira. Atraktivnost Lige prvaka je sve manja", dodao je. Perez je inače predsjednik Real Madrida, kluba s rekordnih 13 naslova prvaka Europe.

UEFA je u ponedjeljak izvijestila kako će 2024. godine uvesti novi format Lige prvaka, natjecanja koje dodatno ide na ruku bogatim klubovima, no koje je daleko od ekstrema Superlige.

"Kažu da bi počeli s tim natjecanjem 2024. No tada ćemo biti mrtvi. Neki klubovi su izgubili stotine milijuna eura. Samo je Real Madrid tijekom dvije sezone ostao bez prihoda od oko 400 milijuna eura", istaknuo je osvrnuvši se na pandemiju koronavirusa zbog koje su stadioni zatvoreni za publiku a trgovine sa suvenirima i muzeji prazni jer nema turista.

Nagađa se da bi Superliga mogla početi u kolovozu 2022. ili 2023. godine.

"Što je prije moguće", poručio je Perez. "Primjećujemo da je publike manje a da prihodi od televizijskih prava padaju. Ne samo zbog pandemije. Potrebno je analizirati zašto mlade od 16 do 24 godine ne zanima nogomet. Oni imaju druge platforme za zabavu. Utakmica je puno no nisu kvalitetne, pa zato moramo promijeniti nešto. Utakmice Real-Manchester ili Barcelona-Milan su atraktivnije od utakmica osrednjih klubova u Ligi prvaka i zato one donose veću zaradu".

Perez je rekao kako ti najveći klubovi imaju navijače po čitavom svijetu pa da bi te utakmice bile dobro praćene.

Klubovi bi igrali Superligu tijekom tjedna, umjesto Lige prvaka, a vikendima bi se normalno natjecali na nacionalnim prvenstvima. Perez napominje kako takav sustav trenutačno postoji u košarci gdje se neki natječu u bogatoj Euroligi a neki u Ligi prvaka dok vikendom svi igraju u domaćim prvenstvima.

"Ponudili smo format koji bi spasio nogomet. Isto je tako svojedobno bio stvoren Kup prvaka a onda Liga prvaka. Ne budemo li mi veliki imali novac, neće ga imati ni ostali klubovi jer mi od njih kupujemo igrače. To je poput piramide. Ostanemo li bez novca, ostat će bez njega i manji. Zato je ovo dobro rješenje za sve", ustvrdio je.

Real Madrid, Chelsea i Manchester City su izborili ove sezone polufinale Lige prvaka, zajedno s PSG-om, a Perez kaže da nema govora o njihovom izbacivanju zbog rata s UEFA-om. "Zakon nas štiti", istaknuo je.

Dodao je da skupina od 12 klubova u svoje društvo nije pozvala PSG, Bayern i Borussiju Dortmund no da bi uskoro moglo biti 15 klubova. Nije rekao tko bi im se još mogao priključiti niti po kojem kriteriju će popunjavati preostalu kvotu od 20 klubova.

Perez je izabran za predsjednika Superlige jer je na čelu Real Madrida već 20 godina. "Izrabrali su me jer sam ja počeo s ovom temom", izjavio je i dodao da će u nadolazećim danima razgovarati s UEFA-om i FIFA-om te nastojati objasniti javnosti ideju i prednosti Superlige.

Predsjednik novoosnovane nogometne Superlige, Florentino Perez (74), rekao je u ponedjeljak kasno navečer da se igrači koji će nastupiti u tom natjecanju ne trebaju bojati nikakvih prijetnji iz krovnih organizacija UEFA-e i FIFA-e te da će moći igrati za reprezentacije svojih država.

"Nogometaši mogu biti potpuno mirni. Ne boje se niti su nas pitali o tome, barem nisu mene", istaknuo je Perez u ponoć tijekom gostovanja u nogometnom programu na španjolskoj televiziji La Sexta.

Nakon što je 12 bogatih klubova iz Španjolske, Engleske i Italije dogovorilo osnivanje vlastite lige s 20 momčadi, europska krovna organizacija UEFA poručila je da igrači koji nastupe na tom natjecanju neće moći igrati za reprezentacije svojih zemalja na Europskom i Svjetskom prvenstvu.

Neki hrvatski mediji nagađali su da bi Hrvatska mogla ostati bez igrača poput Luke Modrića i Matea Kovačića za dva mjeseca na Europskom prvenstvu, premda Superliga dotad neće ni početi pa tako niti potencijalne sankcije.

"To se neće dogoditi. Tu konfuziju stvaraju oni koji drže monopol nad nogometom. Naravno da je UEFA monopolist. Ona treba biti transparentna, nije imala dobar imidž tijekom povijesti, ne želim spominjati stvari...", rekao je Perez misleći na korupciju.

"Ne trebaju nikome prijetiti jer ne radimo ništa loše. Po našem mišljenju, njihov format natjecanja ne funkcionira. Atraktivnost Lige prvaka je sve manja", dodao je. Perez je inače predsjednik Real Madrida, kluba s rekordnih 13 naslova prvaka Europe.

UEFA je u ponedjeljak izvijestila kako će 2024. godine uvesti novi format Lige prvaka, natjecanja koje dodatno ide na ruku bogatim klubovima, no koje je daleko od ekstrema Superlige.

"Kažu da bi počeli s tim natjecanjem 2024. No tada ćemo biti mrtvi. Neki klubovi su izgubili stotine milijuna eura. Samo je Real Madrid tijekom dvije sezone ostao bez prihoda od oko 400 milijuna eura", istaknuo je osvrnuvši se na pandemiju koronavirusa zbog koje su stadioni zatvoreni za publiku a trgovine sa suvenirima i muzeji prazni jer nema turista.

Nagađa se da bi Superliga mogla početi u kolovozu 2022. ili 2023. godine.

"Što je prije moguće", poručio je Perez. "Primjećujemo da je publike manje a da prihodi od televizijskih prava padaju. Ne samo zbog pandemije. Potrebno je analizirati zašto mlade od 16 do 24 godine ne zanima nogomet. Oni imaju druge platforme za zabavu. Utakmica je puno no nisu kvalitetne, pa zato moramo promijeniti nešto. Utakmice Real-Manchester ili Barcelona-Milan su atraktivnije od utakmica osrednjih klubova u Ligi prvaka i zato one donose veću zaradu".

Perez je rekao kako ti najveći klubovi imaju navijače po čitavom svijetu pa da bi te utakmice bile dobro praćene.

Klubovi bi igrali Superligu tijekom tjedna, umjesto Lige prvaka, a vikendima bi se normalno natjecali na nacionalnim prvenstvima. Perez napominje kako takav sustav trenutačno postoji u košarci gdje se neki natječu u bogatoj Euroligi a neki u Ligi prvaka dok vikendom svi igraju u domaćim prvenstvima.

"Ponudili smo format koji bi spasio nogomet. Isto je tako svojedobno bio stvoren Kup prvaka a onda Liga prvaka. Ne budemo li mi veliki imali novac, neće ga imati ni ostali klubovi jer mi od njih kupujemo igrače. To je poput piramide. Ostanemo li bez novca, ostat će bez njega i manji. Zato je ovo dobro rješenje za sve", ustvrdio je.

Real Madrid, Chelsea i Manchester City su izborili ove sezone polufinale Lige prvaka, zajedno s PSG-om, a Perez kaže da nema govora o njihovom izbacivanju zbog rata s UEFA-om. "Zakon nas štiti", istaknuo je.

Dodao je da skupina od 12 klubova u svoje društvo nije pozvala PSG, Bayern i Borussiju Dortmund no da bi uskoro moglo biti 15 klubova. Nije rekao tko bi im se još mogao priključiti niti po kojem kriteriju će popunjavati preostalu kvotu od 20 klubova.

Perez je izabran za predsjednika Superlige jer je na čelu Real Madrida već 20 godina. "Izrabrali su me jer sam ja počeo s ovom temom", izjavio je i dodao da će u nadolazećim danima razgovarati s UEFA-om i FIFA-om te nastojati objasniti javnosti ideju i prednosti Superlige.

Predsjednik novoosnovane nogometne Superlige, Florentino Perez (74), rekao je u ponedjeljak kasno navečer da se igrači koji će nastupiti u tom natjecanju ne trebaju bojati nikakvih prijetnji iz krovnih organizacija UEFA-e i FIFA-e te da će moći igrati za reprezentacije svojih država.

"Nogometaši mogu biti potpuno mirni. Ne boje se niti su nas pitali o tome, barem nisu mene", istaknuo je Perez u ponoć tijekom gostovanja u nogometnom programu na španjolskoj televiziji La Sexta.

Nakon što je 12 bogatih klubova iz Španjolske, Engleske i Italije dogovorilo osnivanje vlastite lige s 20 momčadi, europska krovna organizacija UEFA poručila je da igrači koji nastupe na tom natjecanju neće moći igrati za reprezentacije svojih zemalja na Europskom i Svjetskom prvenstvu.
