Bivši napadač reprezentacije Obale Bjelokosti i Chelsea Didier Drogba (42) ovogodišnji je dobitnik Predsjedničke nagrade koju Europska nogometna federacija (UEFA) svake godine dodjeljuje bivšim nogometnim velikanima.

UEFA-in predsjednik Aleksandar Čeferin će dodijeliti nagradu na ždrijebu skupina Lige prvaka u četvrtak, a istog će dana UEFA proglasiti i europskog nogometaša godine.

- Didier Drogba je vođa i pionir. Sjećam se njegovih vještina, snage i inteligencije na nogometnom terenu, a prije svega sjećam se i njegove nezasitne gladi za uspjehom. Nije bio samo izvanredan nogometaš, već i izvanredan čovjek - rekao je Čeferin.

Drogba je ostavio duboke tragove u europskom nogometu, posebno u vrijeme kada je igrao za Chelsea. U dresu londonske momčadi osvojio je ukupno 11 trofeja pri čemu Ligu prvaka, te četiri naslova engleskog prvaka.

Igrao je i za Le Mans, Guingamp, Marseille, te Galatasaray, kao i po jednu sezonu za Shanghai Shenhua, Montreal i Phoenix Rising. Za reprezentaciju je upisao 105 nastupa i postigao 65 golova.

- Osvajanje Lige prvaka, te igranje i zabijanje golova za svoju reprezentaciju na Svjetskom prvenstvu, to su stvari o kojima sam mogao sanjati dok sam bio dijete - rekao je Drogba dodavši:

- Toliko je djece u svijetu u razvoju koja mogu postati ne samo nogometaši, već i liječnici, učitelji i inženjeri. Zbog toga je toliko važno pomoći i podržati našu djecu kako bi im omogućili da ispune svoje snove.

UEFA ovu nagradu dodjeljuje od 1998. godine, a do sada su je dobili Jacques Delors, Guy Roux, Juan Santisteban, Bobby Robson, Paolo Maldini, Ernie Walker, Frank Rijkaard, Wilfried Straub, Alfredo Di Stefano, Bobby Charlton, Eusebio, Raymond Kopa, Gianni Rivera, Franz Beckenbauer, Johan Cruyff, Josef Masopust, Francesco Totti, David Beckham i Eric Cantona.

Bivši napadač reprezentacije Obale Bjelokosti i Chelsea Didier Drogba (42) ovogodišnji je dobitnik Predsjedničke nagrade koju Europska nogometna federacija (UEFA) svake godine dodjeljuje bivšim nogometnim velikanima.

UEFA-in predsjednik Aleksandar Čeferin će dodijeliti nagradu na ždrijebu skupina Lige prvaka u četvrtak, a istog će dana UEFA proglasiti i europskog nogometaša godine.

- Didier Drogba je vođa i pionir. Sjećam se njegovih vještina, snage i inteligencije na nogometnom terenu, a prije svega sjećam se i njegove nezasitne gladi za uspjehom. Nije bio samo izvanredan nogometaš, već i izvanredan čovjek - rekao je Čeferin.

Drogba je ostavio duboke tragove u europskom nogometu, posebno u vrijeme kada je igrao za Chelsea. U dresu londonske momčadi osvojio je ukupno 11 trofeja pri čemu Ligu prvaka, te četiri naslova engleskog prvaka.

Igrao je i za Le Mans, Guingamp, Marseille, te Galatasaray, kao i po jednu sezonu za Shanghai Shenhua, Montreal i Phoenix Rising. Za reprezentaciju je upisao 105 nastupa i postigao 65 golova.

- Osvajanje Lige prvaka, te igranje i zabijanje golova za svoju reprezentaciju na Svjetskom prvenstvu, to su stvari o kojima sam mogao sanjati dok sam bio dijete - rekao je Drogba dodavši:

- Toliko je djece u svijetu u razvoju koja mogu postati ne samo nogometaši, već i liječnici, učitelji i inženjeri. Zbog toga je toliko važno pomoći i podržati našu djecu kako bi im omogućili da ispune svoje snove.

UEFA ovu nagradu dodjeljuje od 1998. godine, a do sada su je dobili Jacques Delors, Guy Roux, Juan Santisteban, Bobby Robson, Paolo Maldini, Ernie Walker, Frank Rijkaard, Wilfried Straub, Alfredo Di Stefano, Bobby Charlton, Eusebio, Raymond Kopa, Gianni Rivera, Franz Beckenbauer, Johan Cruyff, Josef Masopust, Francesco Totti, David Beckham i Eric Cantona.

Bivši napadač reprezentacije Obale Bjelokosti i Chelsea Didier Drogba (42) ovogodišnji je dobitnik Predsjedničke nagrade koju Europska nogometna federacija (UEFA) svake godine dodjeljuje bivšim nogometnim velikanima.

UEFA-in predsjednik Aleksandar Čeferin će dodijeliti nagradu na ždrijebu skupina Lige prvaka u četvrtak, a istog će dana UEFA proglasiti i europskog nogometaša godine.

- Didier Drogba je vođa i pionir. Sjećam se njegovih vještina, snage i inteligencije na nogometnom terenu, a prije svega sjećam se i njegove nezasitne gladi za uspjehom. Nije bio samo izvanredan nogometaš, već i izvanredan čovjek - rekao je Čeferin.

Drogba je ostavio duboke tragove u europskom nogometu, posebno u vrijeme kada je igrao za Chelsea. U dresu londonske momčadi osvojio je...
