Najbolji hrvatski kanuist na divljim vodama Matija Marinić nakon dvodnevne samoizolacije vratio se treninzima na stazi na kojoj se priprema za nastup na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

Zbog mogućeg kontakta s putnikom zaraženim koronavirusom na letu kojim su stigli u Japan, Mariniću i njegovu treneru Stjepanu Perestegiju prvobitno je propisana samoizolacija u trajanju od tjedan dana, no nakon njihovih apela te uz potporu predsjednika Hrvatskoga olimpijskog odbora Zlatka Mateše i veleposlanika Republike Hrvatske u Japanu Dražena Hrastića odluka je izmijenjena.

Mariniću su omogućeni treninzi na stazi u posebnom terminu u središnjem dijelu dana. Taj su termin po dolasku u Tokio imali Britanci čija je zemlja na popisu onih epidemiološki visoko rizičnih zbog širenja delta soja koronavirusa.

"Zahvalni smo svima koji su imali sluha za izmjenu odluke koja je ugrožavala moj nastup na Olimpijskim igrama! Odluka je izmijenjena i sportašima iz Ukrajine i Kanade koji su istodobno s nama stavljeni u karantenu. Sada treniramo u posebnom terminu, no ostaje nam zabrana silaska na jelo u restoran kamo dolaze drugi sportaši. To smo i tražili.

Sve ćemo ispoštovati kako bih mogao trenirati te na stazi 25. srpnja dati svoj maksimum! Vjerujem kako se nitko od nas nije zarazio koronavirusom. Cijepljeni smo i iza nas je deset negativnih testova na koronavirus od dolaska u Japan", rekao je Marinić poslije prvog treninga na stazi nakon dvodnevne pauze.

Izmjenom odluke o samoizolaciji zadovoljan je i Perestegi.

"Ovo je najbolji primjer da borba za odličja počinje izvan terena - u našim glavama. Kada je osjetio da je uz njega, nakon udaljavanja sa staze, cijela hrvatska javnost, Marinić je dobio dodatan poriv da izbori nastup u završnici Olimpijskih igara, te da da sve od sebe u borbi za odličje", istaknuo je Perestegi.

Marinić i Perestegi u hotelu u blizini staze na kojoj treniraju ostaju još nekoliko dana. Nakon toga se sele u Olimpijsko selo.

Najbolji hrvatski kanuist na divljim vodama Matija Marinić nakon dvodnevne samoizolacije vratio se treninzima na stazi na kojoj se priprema za nastup na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

Zbog mogućeg kontakta s putnikom zaraženim koronavirusom na letu kojim su stigli u Japan, Mariniću i njegovu treneru Stjepanu Perestegiju prvobitno je propisana samoizolacija u trajanju od tjedan dana, no nakon njihovih apela te uz potporu predsjednika Hrvatskoga olimpijskog odbora Zlatka Mateše i veleposlanika Republike Hrvatske u Japanu Dražena Hrastića odluka je izmijenjena.

Mariniću su omogućeni treninzi na stazi u posebnom terminu u središnjem dijelu dana. Taj su termin po dolasku u Tokio imali Britanci čija je zemlja na popisu onih epidemiološki visoko rizičnih zbog širenja delta soja koronavirusa.

"Zahvalni smo svima koji su imali sluha za izmjenu odluke koja je ugrožavala moj nastup na Olimpijskim igrama! Odluka je izmijenjena i sportašima iz Ukrajine i Kanade koji su istodobno s nama stavljeni u karantenu. Sada treniramo u posebnom terminu, no ostaje nam zabrana silaska na jelo u restoran kamo dolaze drugi sportaši. To smo i tražili.

Sve ćemo ispoštovati kako bih mogao trenirati te na stazi 25. srpnja dati svoj maksimum! Vjerujem kako se nitko od nas nije zarazio koronavirusom. Cijepljeni smo i iza nas je deset negativnih testova na koronavirus od dolaska u Japan", rekao je Marinić poslije prvog treninga na stazi nakon dvodnevne pauze.

Izmjenom odluke o samoizolaciji zadovoljan je i Perestegi.

"Ovo je najbolji primjer da borba za odličja počinje izvan terena - u našim glavama. Kada je osjetio da je uz njega, nakon udaljavanja sa staze, cijela hrvatska javnost, Marinić je dobio dodatan poriv da izbori nastup u završnici Olimpijskih igara, te da da sve od sebe u borbi za odličje", istaknuo je Perestegi.

Marinić i Perestegi u hotelu u blizini staze na kojoj treniraju ostaju još nekoliko dana. Nakon toga se sele u Olimpijsko selo.

Najbolji hrvatski kanuist na divljim vodama Matija Marinić nakon dvodnevne samoizolacije vratio se treninzima na stazi na kojoj se priprema za nastup na Olimpijskim igrama u Tokiju.

Zbog mogućeg kontakta s putnikom zaraženim koronavirusom na letu kojim su stigli u Japan, Mariniću i njegovu treneru Stjepanu Perestegiju prvobitno je propisana samoizolacija u trajanju od tjedan dana, no nakon njihovih apela te uz potporu predsjednika Hrvatskoga olimpijskog odbora Zlatka Mateše i veleposlanika Republike Hrvatske u Japanu Dražena Hrastića odluka je izmijenjena.

Mariniću su omogućeni treninzi na stazi u posebnom terminu u središnjem dijelu dana. Taj su termin po dolasku u Tokio imali Britanci čija je zemlja na popisu onih epidemiološki visoko rizičnih zbog širenja delta soja...
