Japanska policija pretražila je dom izvršnog direktora Organizacijskog odbora Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju Haruyukija Takahashija (78) zbog optužbe da je dobio mito od jednog sponzora prošlogodišnjeg globalnog sportskog događaja.

Vjeruje se da je Takahashi primio oko 330.000 dolara od velikog trgovca poslovnim odijelima Aoki Holdings Inc. s kojim je potpisao konzultantski ugovor, objavila je japanska agencija Kyodo.

Aoki je zatim postao službeni sponzor Igara u Tokiju, što mu je omogućilo korištenje logotipa događaja i prodaju službeno licencirane robe.

Novinska agencija Kyodo izvijestila je da bi to moglo predstavljati podmićivanje, budući da se 78-godišnji Takahashi smatrao nekom vrstom državnog službenika koji ne bi trebao primati novac ili darove vezane uz njegov položaj.

Takahashi je prošli tjedan za novine Yomiuri Shimbun izjavio kako je novac koji je njegova tvrtka primila bio za konzultantske poslove.

- Nije bilo sukoba interesa s mojim položajem člana odbora Organizacijskog odbora Igara u Tokiju 2020. - ustvrdio je.

Olimpijske igre u Tokiju su zbog pandemije koronavirusa održane 2021. godine, a Organizacijski odbor raspušten je krajem prošlog mjeseca.

Japanska policija pretražila je dom izvršnog direktora Organizacijskog odbora Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju Haruyukija Takahashija (78) zbog optužbe da je dobio mito od jednog sponzora prošlogodišnjeg globalnog sportskog događaja.

Vjeruje se da je Takahashi primio oko 330.000 dolara od velikog trgovca poslovnim odijelima Aoki Holdings Inc. s kojim je potpisao konzultantski ugovor, objavila je japanska agencija Kyodo.

Aoki je zatim postao službeni sponzor Igara u Tokiju, što mu je omogućilo korištenje logotipa događaja i prodaju službeno licencirane robe.

Novinska agencija Kyodo izvijestila je da bi to moglo predstavljati podmićivanje, budući da se 78-godišnji Takahashi smatrao nekom vrstom državnog službenika koji ne bi trebao primati novac ili darove vezane uz njegov položaj.

Takahashi je prošli tjedan za novine Yomiuri Shimbun izjavio kako je novac koji je njegova tvrtka primila bio za konzultantske poslove.

- Nije bilo sukoba interesa s mojim položajem člana odbora Organizacijskog odbora Igara u Tokiju 2020. - ustvrdio je.

Olimpijske igre u Tokiju su zbog pandemije koronavirusa održane 2021. godine, a Organizacijski odbor raspušten je krajem prošlog mjeseca.

Japanska policija pretražila je dom izvršnog direktora Organizacijskog odbora Olimpijskih igara u Tokiju Haruyukija Takahashija (78) zbog optužbe da je dobio mito od jednog sponzora prošlogodišnjeg globalnog sportskog događaja.

Vjeruje se da je Takahashi primio oko 330.000 dolara od velikog trgovca poslovnim odijelima Aoki Holdings Inc. s kojim je potpisao konzultantski ugovor, objavila je japanska agencija Kyodo.

Aoki je zatim postao službeni sponzor Igara u Tokiju, što mu je omogućilo korištenje logotipa događaja i prodaju službeno licencirane robe.

Novinska agencija Kyodo izvijestila je da bi to moglo predstavljati podmićivanje, budući da se 78-godišnji Takahashi smatrao nekom vrstom državnog službenika koji ne bi trebao primati novac ili darove vezane uz njegov...
