Kenijska trkačica Faith Kipyegon u petak je na mitingu Dijamantne lige u Firenci postavila novi svjetski rekord na 1500 metara postavši prva atletičarka u povijesti koja je tu dionicu pretrčala za manje od tri minute i 50 sekundi, a novi najbolji rezultat svih vremena je 3:49.11.

Tako je 29-godišnja aktualna dvostruka olimpijska pobjednica u ovoj disciplini prijašnji svjetski rekord (3:50.07), koji je od 17. srpnja 2015. držala Etiopljanka Genzebe Dibaba, popravila za gotovo cijelu sekundu.

 Bilo je to uvjerljivo najbolje ostvarenje na trećem mitingu iz ovogodišnjeg kalendara Dijamantne lige, na kojem su atletičarke ostavile bolji dojam.

Nizozemka Femke Bol je u utrci na 400 m prepone postavila najbolje ovogodišnje vrijeme (52.43 sekunde), a time je popravila i rekord mitinga (52.82) koji je od 2010. držala Amerikanka Lashinda Demus. Rekord mitinga srušen je i u utrci atletičarki na 3000 m sa zaprekama. Vlasnica novog rekorda (9:00.71 minuta) je Etiopljanka Sembo Almayew koja je postavila osobni rekord i najbolje vrijeme u svijetu u ovoj godini. Rekord mitinga je popravila za više od četiri sekunde.

U utrci atletičara na 100 m slavio je Amerikanac Fred Kerley (9.94 sekundi), ispred Kenijca Ferdinanda Omanyale (10.05), dok je u konkurenciji atletičarki na istoj dionici najbrža bila Marie-Josee Ta Lou (10.97 sekundi) iz Obale Bjelokosti.

Novo natjecanje na kojem će se skupljati "dijamantni bodovi" bit će održano 9. lipnja u Parizu

Kenijska trkačica Faith Kipyegon u petak je na mitingu Dijamantne lige u Firenci postavila novi svjetski rekord na 1500 metara postavši prva atletičarka u povijesti koja je tu dionicu pretrčala za manje od tri minute i 50 sekundi, a novi najbolji rezultat svih vremena je 3:49.11.

Tako je 29-godišnja aktualna dvostruka olimpijska pobjednica u ovoj disciplini prijašnji svjetski rekord (3:50.07), koji je od 17. srpnja 2015. držala Etiopljanka Genzebe Dibaba, popravila za gotovo cijelu sekundu.

 Bilo je to uvjerljivo najbolje ostvarenje na trećem mitingu iz ovogodišnjeg kalendara Dijamantne lige, na kojem su atletičarke ostavile bolji dojam.

Nizozemka Femke Bol je u utrci na 400 m prepone postavila najbolje ovogodišnje vrijeme (52.43 sekunde), a time je popravila i rekord mitinga (52.82) koji je od 2010. držala Amerikanka Lashinda Demus. Rekord mitinga srušen je i u utrci atletičarki na 3000 m sa zaprekama. Vlasnica novog rekorda (9:00.71 minuta) je Etiopljanka Sembo Almayew koja je postavila osobni rekord i najbolje vrijeme u svijetu u ovoj godini. Rekord mitinga je popravila za više od četiri sekunde.

U utrci atletičara na 100 m slavio je Amerikanac Fred Kerley (9.94 sekundi), ispred Kenijca Ferdinanda Omanyale (10.05), dok je u konkurenciji atletičarki na istoj dionici najbrža bila Marie-Josee Ta Lou (10.97 sekundi) iz Obale Bjelokosti.

Novo natjecanje na kojem će se skupljati "dijamantni bodovi" bit će održano 9. lipnja u Parizu

Faith Kipyegon je nova svjetska rekorderka na 1500 metara

Kenijska trkačica Faith Kipyegon u petak je na mitingu Dijamantne lige u Firenci postavila novi svjetski rekord na 1500 metara postavši prva atletičarka u povijesti koja je tu dionicu pretrčala za manje od tri minute i 50 sekundi, a novi najbolji rezultat svih vremena je 3:49.11.

Tako je 29-godišnja aktualna dvostruka olimpijska pobjednica u ovoj disciplini prijašnji svjetski rekord (3:50.07), koji je od 17. srpnja 2015. držala Etiopljanka Genzebe Dibaba, popravila za gotovo cijelu sekundu.

 Bilo je to uvjerljivo najbolje ostvarenje na trećem mitingu iz ovogodišnjeg kalendara Dijamantne lige, na kojem su atletičarke ostavile bolji dojam.

Nizozemka Femke Bol je u utrci na 400 m prepone postavila najbolje ovogodišnje vrijeme (52.43 sekunde), a time je popravila i rekord mitinga (52.82) koji je od 2010. držala Amerikanka Lashinda Demus. Rekord mitinga srušen je i u utrci atletičarki na 3000 m sa zaprekama. Vlasnica novog rekorda (9:00.71 minuta) je Etiopljanka Sembo Almayew koja je postavila osobni rekord i najbolje vrijeme u svijetu u ovoj godini. Rekord mitinga je popravila za više od četiri sekunde.

U utrci atletičara na 100 m slavio je Amerikanac Fred Kerley (9.94 sekundi), ispred Kenijca Ferdinanda Omanyale (10.05), dok je u konkurenciji atletičarki na istoj dionici najbrža bila Marie-Josee Ta Lou (10.97 sekundi) iz Obale Bjelokosti.

Novo natjecanje na kojem će se skupljati "dijamantni bodovi" bit će održano 9. lipnja u Parizu
