Igrači Buffalo Billsa, Los Angeles Ramsa i Tampa Bay Buccaneersa izborili su u subotu plasman u drugi krug doigravanja američke profesionalne lige u američkom nogometu NFL.

Buffalo Billsi ostvarili su prvu pobjedu u doigravanju nakon čak 25 godina svladavši na svom stadionu Indianapolis Coltse sa 27-24 u susretu koji je bio neizvjestan do posljednjih sekundi. Gosti iz Indianapolisa bili su bolja momčad u prvom poluvremenu, no nisu uspijevali realizirati svoje prilike pa se na poluvrijeme otišlo s vodstvom domaćeg sastava od 14-10.

Coltsi najviše mogu žaliti za situacijom dvije minute prije kraja prvog poluvremena kada su kod svog vodstva 10-7 bili jedan jard udaljeni od posljednjeg polja Billsa te samim time nadomak vodstva od 17-7. No, njihov "running back" Jonathan Taylor u sljedećoj je akciji izgubio tri jarda, a trener Coltsa Frank Reich nije želio uzeti praktički sigurna tri poena već je odlučio riskirati i odigrati još jednu akciju u kojoj je tražio polaganje no "quarterback" Philip Rivers promašio je hvatača Michaela Pittmana pa su loptu dobili Billsi.

Domaći su u nešto više od minute i pol uspjeli prijeći čitav teren te probijanjem svog vođe navale Josha Allena od četiri jarda stigli do polaganja i vodstva 14-10.

U drugom poluvremenu Billsi su zaigrali mnogo bolje te početkom četvrte četvrtine nakon odličnog bacanja Allena za Stefona Diggsa stigli do prednosti od 24-10. Coltsi su se ipak uspjeli vratiti u dvoboj te 6:13 minuta prije kraja susreta nakon dodavanja Riversa za Jacka Doylea dugog 27 jarda smanjili na 27-24. Nakon neuspješnog napada Billsa Coltsi su dvije i pol minute prije kraja ponovno osvojili loptu te krenuli u napad u kojem su "field goalom" mogli poravnati i odvesti utakmicu u produžetak, a "touchdownom" čak i pobijediti. Ipak, nakon nekoliko neuspješnih Riversovih dodavanja Coltsi su u posljednjim trenucima došli u poziciju da do pobjede mogu samo očajničkim dugačkim dodavanjem od 47 jarda, no nisu bili niti blizu uspjeha u toj akciji.

Allen je susret okončao sa 26 preciznih dodavanja iz 35 pokušaja za ukupno 324 jarda uz dva "touchdowna", a usto je osvojio i 54 jarda probijanjem te je bio najzaslužniji za pobjedu Billsa 

Los Angeles Ramsi uspjeli su kao gosti svladati svoje divizijske rivale Seattle Seahawkse sa 30-20 prvenstveno sjajnom igrom svoje obrane koja je u prvih 20 minuta u potpunosti ukočila napad suparnika, a usto i postigla "touchdown" preko Dariousa Williamsa koji je presjekao dodavanje Russella Wilsona za DK-a Metcalfa za vodstvo 13-3. Ipak, veza Wilson-Metcalf "proradila" je u sljedećem napadu Seahawksa kada su dodavanjem za 51 jard stigli do polaganja i smanjenja na 13-10. Da se na poluvrijeme ode sa 10 poena prednosti u korist Ramsa pobrinuo se njihov "running back" Cam Akers koji je postigao polaganje nakon probijanja od 10 jarda. 

Napad Seahawksa u drugom je poluvremenu djelovao još lošije no u prvom, a domaća obrana popustila je u posljednjoj četvrtini kada su Ramsi "fileld goalom" i "touchdownom" nakon dodavanja Jareda Goffa za Roberta Woodsa pobjegli na nedostižnih 30-13 4:46 minuta prije kraja.

Uz Aarona Donalda i Leonarda Floyda koji su upisali po dva rušenja suparničkog "quarterbacka", najzaslužniji za pobjedu Ramsa bio je Akers koji je osvojio čak 131 jard u svojih 28 probijanja.

Tampa Bay Buccaneersi opravdali su ulogu favorita iako su igrali u gostima protiv Washington Football Teama no do pobjede od 31-23 su stigli teže od očekivanog. Susret je krenuo u skladu s očekivanjima, Tampa je nakon prve četvrtine vodila sa 9-0 prvenstveno odličnim dodavanjem Toma Bradyja za Antonija Browna od 36 jarda, dok je napad Washingtona predvođen neiskusnim Taylorom Heinickeom izgledao potpuno bezopasno.

Ipak, u nastavku utakmice Heinicke je zaigrao mnogo bolje, s nekoliko je preciznih dodavanja te probijanjima približio svoju momčad na zaostatak od samo 16-18 pred kraj treće četvrtine. Nažalost, Heinicke se u četvrtoj četvrtini ozlijedio, dok je praktički svaki napad gostiju završavao nekakvim poenima, pa je Tampa 2:49 minuta prije kraja povela sa 31-23.

Washington je imao posljednji napad u kojem je s "touchdownom" i pretvaranjem za dva poena mogao izboriti produžetak, no ozlijeđeni Heinicke nije bio u stanju povesti svoju momčad do velikog iznenađenja.

Najveći igrač svih vremena, 43-godišnji Tom Brady pokazao je kako ima argumente za osvajanje svog sedmog naslova prvaka, on je u svojoj prvoj utakmici u doigravanju u dresu Tampe osvojio 381 jard dodavanjima uz dva "touchdowna".

U nedjelju su na programu preostala tri susreta prvog kruga doigravanja u kojima će igrati Tennessee Titansi protiv Baltimore Ravensa, New Orleans Saintsi protiv Chicago Bearsa te Pittsburgh Steelersi protiv Cleveland Brownsa nakon kojih će biti poznati parovi drugog kruga koji je na programu sljedećeg vikenda.

Igrači Buffalo Billsa, Los Angeles Ramsa i Tampa Bay Buccaneersa izborili su u subotu plasman u drugi krug doigravanja američke profesionalne lige u američkom nogometu NFL.

Buffalo Billsi ostvarili su prvu pobjedu u doigravanju nakon čak 25 godina svladavši na svom stadionu Indianapolis Coltse sa 27-24 u susretu koji je bio neizvjestan do posljednjih sekundi. Gosti iz Indianapolisa bili su bolja momčad u prvom poluvremenu, no nisu uspijevali realizirati svoje prilike pa se na poluvrijeme otišlo s vodstvom domaćeg sastava od 14-10.

Coltsi najviše mogu žaliti za situacijom dvije minute prije kraja prvog poluvremena kada su kod svog vodstva 10-7 bili jedan jard udaljeni od posljednjeg polja Billsa te samim time nadomak vodstva od 17-7. No, njihov "running back" Jonathan Taylor u sljedećoj je akciji izgubio tri jarda, a trener Coltsa Frank Reich nije želio uzeti praktički sigurna tri poena već je odlučio riskirati i odigrati još jednu akciju u kojoj je tražio polaganje no "quarterback" Philip Rivers promašio je hvatača Michaela Pittmana pa su loptu dobili Billsi.

Domaći su u nešto više od minute i pol uspjeli prijeći čitav teren te probijanjem svog vođe navale Josha Allena od četiri jarda stigli do polaganja i vodstva 14-10.

U drugom poluvremenu Billsi su zaigrali mnogo bolje te početkom četvrte četvrtine nakon odličnog bacanja Allena za Stefona Diggsa stigli do prednosti od 24-10. Coltsi su se ipak uspjeli vratiti u dvoboj te 6:13 minuta prije kraja susreta nakon dodavanja Riversa za Jacka Doylea dugog 27 jarda smanjili na 27-24. Nakon neuspješnog napada Billsa Coltsi su dvije i pol minute prije kraja ponovno osvojili loptu te krenuli u napad u kojem su "field goalom" mogli poravnati i odvesti utakmicu u produžetak, a "touchdownom" čak i pobijediti. Ipak, nakon nekoliko neuspješnih Riversovih dodavanja Coltsi su u posljednjim trenucima došli u poziciju da do pobjede mogu samo očajničkim dugačkim dodavanjem od 47 jarda, no nisu bili niti blizu uspjeha u toj akciji.

Allen je susret okončao sa 26 preciznih dodavanja iz 35 pokušaja za ukupno 324 jarda uz dva "touchdowna", a usto je osvojio i 54 jarda probijanjem te je bio najzaslužniji za pobjedu Billsa 

Los Angeles Ramsi uspjeli su kao gosti svladati svoje divizijske rivale Seattle Seahawkse sa 30-20 prvenstveno sjajnom igrom svoje obrane koja je u prvih 20 minuta u potpunosti ukočila napad suparnika, a usto i postigla "touchdown" preko Dariousa Williamsa koji je presjekao dodavanje Russella Wilsona za DK-a Metcalfa za vodstvo 13-3. Ipak, veza Wilson-Metcalf "proradila" je u sljedećem napadu Seahawksa kada su dodavanjem za 51 jard stigli do polaganja i smanjenja na 13-10. Da se na poluvrijeme ode sa 10 poena prednosti u korist Ramsa pobrinuo se njihov "running back" Cam Akers koji je postigao polaganje nakon probijanja od 10 jarda. 

Napad Seahawksa u drugom je poluvremenu djelovao još lošije no u prvom, a domaća obrana popustila je u posljednjoj četvrtini kada su Ramsi "fileld goalom" i "touchdownom" nakon dodavanja Jareda Goffa za Roberta Woodsa pobjegli na nedostižnih 30-13 4:46 minuta prije kraja.

Uz Aarona Donalda i Leonarda Floyda koji su upisali po dva rušenja suparničkog "quarterbacka", najzaslužniji za pobjedu Ramsa bio je Akers koji je osvojio čak 131 jard u svojih 28 probijanja.

Tampa Bay Buccaneersi opravdali su ulogu favorita iako su igrali u gostima protiv Washington Football Teama no do pobjede od 31-23 su stigli teže od očekivanog. Susret je krenuo u skladu s očekivanjima, Tampa je nakon prve četvrtine vodila sa 9-0 prvenstveno odličnim dodavanjem Toma Bradyja za Antonija Browna od 36 jarda, dok je napad Washingtona predvođen neiskusnim Taylorom Heinickeom izgledao potpuno bezopasno.

Ipak, u nastavku utakmice Heinicke je zaigrao mnogo bolje, s nekoliko je preciznih dodavanja te probijanjima približio svoju momčad na zaostatak od samo 16-18 pred kraj treće četvrtine. Nažalost, Heinicke se u četvrtoj četvrtini ozlijedio, dok je praktički svaki napad gostiju završavao nekakvim poenima, pa je Tampa 2:49 minuta prije kraja povela sa 31-23.

Washington je imao posljednji napad u kojem je s "touchdownom" i pretvaranjem za dva poena mogao izboriti produžetak, no ozlijeđeni Heinicke nije bio u stanju povesti svoju momčad do velikog iznenađenja.

Najveći igrač svih vremena, 43-godišnji Tom Brady pokazao je kako ima argumente za osvajanje svog sedmog naslova prvaka, on je u svojoj prvoj utakmici u doigravanju u dresu Tampe osvojio 381 jard dodavanjima uz dva "touchdowna".

U nedjelju su na programu preostala tri susreta prvog kruga doigravanja u kojima će igrati Tennessee Titansi protiv Baltimore Ravensa, New Orleans Saintsi protiv Chicago Bearsa te Pittsburgh Steelersi protiv Cleveland Brownsa nakon kojih će biti poznati parovi drugog kruga koji je na programu sljedećeg vikenda.

Buffalo pobijedio u doigravanju nakon 25 godina, legendarni Brady s Tampom ostao u igri

Igrači Buffalo Billsa, Los Angeles Ramsa i Tampa Bay Buccaneersa izborili su u subotu plasman u drugi krug doigravanja američke profesionalne lige u američkom nogometu NFL.

Buffalo Billsi ostvarili su prvu pobjedu u doigravanju nakon čak 25 godina svladavši na svom stadionu Indianapolis Coltse sa 27-24 u susretu koji je bio neizvjestan do posljednjih sekundi. Gosti iz Indianapolisa bili su bolja momčad u prvom poluvremenu, no nisu uspijevali realizirati svoje prilike pa se na poluvrijeme otišlo s vodstvom domaćeg sastava od 14-10.
