Aktualni europski prvak iz Berlina i brončani sa svjetskog prvenstva u Dohi 2019. godine, Francuz Pascal Martinot-Lagarde predvodi startnu listu Memorijalne utrke Borisa Hanžekovića na 110 metara s preponama po kojoj nosi ime i cijeli zagrebački miting.

Martinot-Lagarde je već slavio na Memorjalu 2016. godine, a s osobnim rekordom 12.95 deseti je najbrži preponaš svih vremena.

Glavni suparnici u borbi za pehar obitelji Hanžeković, bit će mu drugoplasirani i trećeplasirani s ovogodišnje svjetske ljestvice, Britanac Andrew Pozzi (13.14) i Francuz Wilhem Belocian (13.18), te šesti s te ljestvice Amerikanac Freddie Crittenden (13.30). Na startnoj listi je i azijski doprvak, Yaqoub Mohamed Al Youha iz Kuvajta.

Utrka na 110 metara s preponama, baš kao i cijeli zagrebački miting, nose ime Borisa Hanžekovića, najboljeg prijeratnog hrvatskog atletičara, koji je poginuo 1945. godine prilikom pokušaja bijega iz logora u Jasenovcu.

Svoj atletski vrhunac Boris Hanžeković doživio je na Balkanskim igrama u Beogradu 1938. godine. Imao je tada nepune 22 godine i uspio je u izravnom dvoboju na 110 metara s preponama pobijediti Grka Hristosa Mantikasa, finalista Olimpijskih igara u Berlinu 1936. i tada najboljeg atletičara Balkana.

Utrka na 110 metara s prepone nosi Hanžekovićevo ime od 1952. godine i drugog izdanja klupskog dvoboja Mladosti i Dinama koji je već 1957. prerastao u nacionalni, a 1962. i u međunarodni atletski miting. Prvi pobjednik utrke na 110 metara s preponama bio je dinamovac Petar Grgin, nakon čega je dva puta pobijedio atletičar Mladosti Ervin Srp.

Organizatori mitinga oduvijek su posebnu pozornost posvećivali utrci na 110 metara s preponama, pa su u Memorijalnoj utrci Boris Hanžeković do sada sedam puta pobjeđivali olimpijski pobjednici, a devet puta svjetski prvaci. Neki od najboljih svjetskih preponaša ni ove godine neće zaobići Zagreb.

Jubilarni 70. Hanžekovićev memorijal, miting iz WA Continental Tour Gold kategorije, održat će se 15. rujna na stadionu Mladosti.

Aktualni europski prvak iz Berlina i brončani sa svjetskog prvenstva u Dohi 2019. godine, Francuz Pascal Martinot-Lagarde predvodi startnu listu Memorijalne utrke Borisa Hanžekovića na 110 metara s preponama po kojoj nosi ime i cijeli zagrebački miting.

Martinot-Lagarde je već slavio na Memorjalu 2016. godine, a s osobnim rekordom 12.95 deseti je najbrži preponaš svih vremena.

Glavni suparnici u borbi za pehar obitelji Hanžeković, bit će mu drugoplasirani i trećeplasirani s ovogodišnje svjetske ljestvice, Britanac Andrew Pozzi (13.14) i Francuz Wilhem Belocian (13.18), te šesti s te ljestvice Amerikanac Freddie Crittenden (13.30). Na startnoj listi je i azijski doprvak, Yaqoub Mohamed Al Youha iz Kuvajta.

Utrka na 110 metara s preponama, baš kao i cijeli zagrebački miting, nose ime Borisa Hanžekovića, najboljeg prijeratnog hrvatskog atletičara, koji je poginuo 1945. godine prilikom pokušaja bijega iz logora u Jasenovcu.

Svoj atletski vrhunac Boris Hanžeković doživio je na Balkanskim igrama u Beogradu 1938. godine. Imao je tada nepune 22 godine i uspio je u izravnom dvoboju na 110 metara s preponama pobijediti Grka Hristosa Mantikasa, finalista Olimpijskih igara u Berlinu 1936. i tada najboljeg atletičara Balkana.

Utrka na 110 metara s prepone nosi Hanžekovićevo ime od 1952. godine i drugog izdanja klupskog dvoboja Mladosti i Dinama koji je već 1957. prerastao u nacionalni, a 1962. i u međunarodni atletski miting. Prvi pobjednik utrke na 110 metara s preponama bio je dinamovac Petar Grgin, nakon čega je dva puta pobijedio atletičar Mladosti Ervin Srp.

Organizatori mitinga oduvijek su posebnu pozornost posvećivali utrci na 110 metara s preponama, pa su u Memorijalnoj utrci Boris Hanžeković do sada sedam puta pobjeđivali olimpijski pobjednici, a devet puta svjetski prvaci. Neki od najboljih svjetskih preponaša ni ove godine neće zaobići Zagreb.

Jubilarni 70. Hanžekovićev memorijal, miting iz WA Continental Tour Gold kategorije, održat će se 15. rujna na stadionu Mladosti.

Aktualni europski prvak na 110 metara s preponama dolazi na Hanžekovićev memorijal

Aktualni europski prvak iz Berlina i brončani sa svjetskog prvenstva u Dohi 2019. godine, Francuz Pascal Martinot-Lagarde predvodi startnu listu Memorijalne utrke Borisa Hanžekovića na 110 metara s preponama po kojoj nosi ime i cijeli zagrebački miting.

Martinot-Lagarde je već slavio na Memorjalu 2016. godine, a s osobnim rekordom 12.95 deseti je najbrži preponaš svih vremena.

Glavni suparnici u borbi za pehar obitelji Hanžeković, bit će mu drugoplasirani i trećeplasirani s ovogodišnje svjetske ljestvice, Britanac Andrew Pozzi (13.14) i Francuz Wilhem Belocian (13.18), te šesti s te ljestvice Amerikanac Freddie Crittenden (13.30). Na startnoj listi je i azijski doprvak, Yaqoub Mohamed Al Youha iz Kuvajta.

Utrka na 110 metara s preponama, baš kao i cijeli zagrebački...
