Zadar natovaren frustracijama zbog niza poraza u ABA ligi nikako nije mogao do kraja otvoriti " čakre", štoviše, u završnicu su umjesto s mirom u duši, zakoračili velikom nervozom, o čemu svjedoče dramatične zadnje sekunde opisane u donjem dijelu tekstu. Međutim, pobjeda je u konačnici donijela olakšanje u borbi za izbjegavanje pretposljednjeg mjesta.
Inače, krenulo je ovako: Vuković dva poena, Carter tri, Onuaku dva, dok su gosti imali samo tri s crte slobodnih bacanja. Činilo se kako im je ruka posve nemirna, jer su svoj prvi ubačaj iz igre imali tek u 4. minuti. Ali je upravo to pokrenulo njihovu seriju 9:0 u koju su ugradili jednu "tricu" Nerandžića.
Doista, u tim trenucima zadarske momčadi nije bilo negdje , jednako u obrani i napadu. Sušu je prekinuo Vuković s dva realizirana bacanja, onda je Mavra svoj ulazak najavio na isti način, potom je pogodio za tri poena, pa dva! Crater je dobro kontrolirao loptu, usput je znao pronaći put do mrežice, te je na otvaranju druge dionice također realizirao jedan prodor pod obruč gostiju.
Zaključno, Zadar je uzvratio serijom 12:0, možda se moglo i više da Onuaku nije izgledao kao čovjek na godišnjem odmoru, Justice nikako nije mogao namjestiti ruku, dok je Planinić dobro reagirao u skoku. Ono čemu se može zahvaliti spomenuti niz, jest dobra igra Zadra u obrani.
Ali, generalno , kod obje momčadi šut je bio koma o čemu zorno svjedoči ishod druge četvrtine ( 8:6), a nije se igralo bilo koji drugi sport u kojem se inače bilježe male brojke. Trebalo se igrati košarku koje nije bilo, pa je posve vjerojatno kako je oboren rekord ABA lige i šire, oslikan kroz priču " tko će
manje"! Nešto bolje krenuo je Zadar, zakucao je Onuaku, Vuković ubacio "tricu", Carter realizirao dva od tri slobodna bacanja...I otišao je Zadar na 36:24... I stao!
Borac je s dvije trice, Kočovića i Nerandžića , uz ranija dva slobodna bacanja prišao skroz blizu(36:32). Nije im Zadar ostao dužan, nešto je skupio Onuaku, potom Carter, te Mavra odvalio jednu iz daljine za novu dvoznamenkastu prednost( 48:37), koju su gosti znali sniziti.
Ali tri poena Bursaća u zadnjoj stotinki treće četvrtine donijeli su 55:42 uoči zadnjih deset minuta.... Borac se opet nametnuo, kako i neće pogodili su tri trice u nizu, pa su Bursać i Onuako donijeli novo rezultatsko udaljavanje, međutim, Jones je smanjio na zaostatak na svega šest poena, semafor je pokazivao nešto manje od tri ipo minute do kraja.
Nakon Carterove "trice" izgledalo je kako će plus devet ( 72:63), biti dovoljno, međutim, tako nisu baš mislili Jones i Nerandžić, opet su vanjskim šutom izneredili zadarsku obranu i spustili na 74:70.... drama je mogla početi!
Jer je Onuaku iskoristio samo jedno slobodno bacanje, s tri poena uzvratio je Zadranima Todorović, na drugoj strani promašaj Mavre , ali i Kočovića koji je ulaskom pod obruč umalo donio produžetak, lopta je skakutala i došla pravo u ruke Onuakua.

Zadar natovaren frustracijama zbog niza poraza u ABA ligi nikako nije mogao do kraja otvoriti " čakre", štoviše, u završnicu su umjesto s mirom u duši, zakoračili velikom nervozom, o čemu svjedoče dramatične zadnje sekunde opisane u donjem dijelu tekstu. Međutim, pobjeda je u konačnici donijela olakšanje u borbi za izbjegavanje pretposljednjeg mjesta.
Inače, krenulo je ovako: Vuković dva poena, Carter tri, Onuaku dva, dok su gosti imali samo tri s crte slobodnih bacanja. Činilo se kako im je ruka posve nemirna, jer su svoj prvi ubačaj iz igre imali tek u 4. minuti. Ali je upravo to pokrenulo njihovu seriju 9:0 u koju su ugradili jednu "tricu" Nerandžića.
Doista, u tim trenucima zadarske momčadi nije bilo negdje , jednako u obrani i napadu. Sušu je prekinuo Vuković s dva realizirana bacanja, onda je Mavra svoj ulazak najavio na isti način, potom je pogodio za tri poena, pa dva! Crater je dobro kontrolirao loptu, usput je znao pronaći put do mrežice, te je na otvaranju druge dionice također realizirao jedan prodor pod obruč gostiju.
Zaključno, Zadar je uzvratio serijom 12:0, možda se moglo i više da Onuaku nije izgledao kao čovjek na godišnjem odmoru, Justice nikako nije mogao namjestiti ruku, dok je Planinić dobro reagirao u skoku. Ono čemu se može zahvaliti spomenuti niz, jest dobra igra Zadra u obrani.
Ali, generalno , kod obje momčadi šut je bio koma o čemu zorno svjedoči ishod druge četvrtine ( 8:6), a nije se igralo bilo koji drugi sport u kojem se inače bilježe male brojke. Trebalo se igrati košarku koje nije bilo, pa je posve vjerojatno kako je oboren rekord ABA lige i šire, oslikan kroz priču " tko će
manje"! Nešto bolje krenuo je Zadar, zakucao je Onuaku, Vuković ubacio "tricu", Carter realizirao dva od tri slobodna bacanja...I otišao je Zadar na 36:24... I stao!
Borac je s dvije trice, Kočovića i Nerandžića , uz ranija dva slobodna bacanja prišao skroz blizu(36:32). Nije im Zadar ostao dužan, nešto je skupio Onuaku, potom Carter, te Mavra odvalio jednu iz daljine za novu dvoznamenkastu prednost( 48:37), koju su gosti znali sniziti.
Ali tri poena Bursaća u zadnjoj stotinki treće četvrtine donijeli su 55:42 uoči zadnjih deset minuta.... Borac se opet nametnuo, kako i neće pogodili su tri trice u nizu, pa su Bursać i Onuako donijeli novo rezultatsko udaljavanje, međutim, Jones je smanjio na zaostatak na svega šest poena, semafor je pokazivao nešto manje od tri ipo minute do kraja.
Nakon Carterove "trice" izgledalo je kako će plus devet ( 72:63), biti dovoljno, međutim, tako nisu baš mislili Jones i Nerandžić, opet su vanjskim šutom izneredili zadarsku obranu i spustili na 74:70.... drama je mogla početi!
Jer je Onuaku iskoristio samo jedno slobodno bacanje, s tri poena uzvratio je Zadranima Todorović, na drugoj strani promašaj Mavre , ali i Kočovića koji je ulaskom pod obruč umalo donio produžetak, lopta je skakutala i došla pravo u ruke Onuakua.
